"'The Last Day' is, to put it bluntly, a song about the most difficult heartbreak and loss of love that I had ever experienced in my life. Something I would hope does not happen again, but hey, this is what life is and you gotta be in it to win it, so to speak. The lyrics were written in 2019 in Melbourne in the hours after having spent my last day out alone with this particular woman. I knew it was the last time going into it, and when I said farewell I knew that I would never again get the chance to ever just simply be out in the world with her, let alone be romantic or anything of that nature. I was beyond devastated, and as I lay alone in my Airbnb I wrote the lyrics down in little bursts with no direction other than to exorcise my sorrow and anguish. The whole song and video came to me that same evening and I knew it had to be part of the album. The song means little to me now, but at the time it was everything. I hope it can reach the hearts of many-a-broken out there. Its beauty is for you."

I discovered Sabire through an x of mine. It took me forever to be able to listen to this band again without dragging up shitty feelings associated with that time. This song is amazing and kinda encapsulates that time of my life. Can’t wait for JATT

A good song by a good band - looking forward to the entire album. Yet ....... Tears for Fers chord scheme is obvious, as is Depeche Mode, very much ;-)

I love Sabire, and all of their tracks, this is no exception, however, this is a complete copy of 'Shout' by Tears for Fears. I bet many of you have wondered where you have heard this tune before? I like this better as I am a Metalhead, so therefore the arrangement appeals to me more, and don't care if it is similar or not in order to enjoy the song, nor is this a criticism of Sabire, I just feel the similarity needs to be mentioned.
I can definitely hear it. But aye no artist or band does anything COMEPLETELY original. It's all about making it your own. Still a good track from these guys nonetheless.
