For anyone still struggling, do the Volcano Manor questline. Specifically, the guy in the dining room who asks you to do a bounty with him. After his quests and killing Rykard, he appears as a summon for the duo. Target the apostle since he’s easier and the summon will distract the noble until you’re done. When you kill the apostle, go help the summon with the noble. You’ll kill it before the noble respawns and you can just camp the respawn. He uses a strength weapon and the two of you can literally just stun lock him.
Thats how i did this fight without seeing your comment. I stopped playing this game at this fight like a year ago, rage quitted. But the dlc is coming so im like meh, might as well try and finish this nonsense. I found the bloodhound fang with the bleed effective. But there is definitely luck involved in this fight. I hate these dual souls bosses that from seems to keep rearending us with. Sometimes they will get close together and absolutely rape you. Sometimes they split up and thats when you have a chance to actually beat them. If things fall your way they arent TOO bad.
@@trenken man bloodhound fang is way too underrated for how good that weapon is, legit can finish the game only using it and the L2 and R2 are so useful and do tons of damage

If anyone is having real problems with them, this is what I used to beat them, and I actually annihilated them with this build: I have a heavy Arcane build (60); Eleonora's Polebalde +9 (I think it's better than Rivers of Blood..it's much faster); Dragon COmmunion Seal +9; Mogh's Great Rune (this rune is awesome...make sure you use a rune arc with it or the great runes won't work during battles. Mogh's is really powerful); Battlemage Hugues + 7 (this ashes messes these two bosses up bigtime. He is incredibly powerful). I also summoned Knight Bernal (he should be at the entrance to the bosses if you've done enough of his story). I killed these guys without much difficulty at all with this build. Brutal!
I had the greatest victory over these guys possibly ever. I killed them at literally the exact same time they killed me. The trophy popped and the area was now open. 😂
If you're doing bernal quest you can summon him here plus if you have sleep potions and use mimic tear, the mimic will also use the sleep pots for free..
It was during this fight that I learned how to kill apostles without taking any damage. Almost all of the hits I took were either from the noble sneaking a cheap shot in from off camera, or me mistiming my rolls and getting snagged by the apostle while I was trying to avoid the noble's bullshit.
one thing I noticed about these two, since I've already defeated both of them by themselves twice in separate ocassions, is that they'll always try to throw the black flame after they damaged you and you rolled away to heal, so the best to avoid this is after rolling back waiting for them to throw it and then heal

I went in with Moghwyns sacred spear at +8 and I did the whole battle in probably less then a minute. I just stood behind a pillar and kept using the charged flame attack and they cant get to you during it. I accidentally had no talismans on also.
Sheesh you make it look easy. I am having a whale of a time. I just get tense and mess up at the wrong time. Make one little timing mistake verses these fools, and it's lights out.

man after watching josh play elden ring by him self i'm like 80plus hours and beat idk how many bosses and that fire giant and now i'm stuck on these 2 bosses the most annoying ones yet tried different summoners to help me but they dissappear when both are gone. i tried doing one boss and then that skinny guy and he summoned his buddy the 3rd time and same with the skinny guy. i was like wtf in the world is going on?. rn i'm still stuck and just thinking to get over powered by farming lol until im strong enough to beatem

Here's a small tip for people using a spear, halberd, or any weapon with a poke, when the nobel is rolling into the the piller you can poke him for some extra damage. Just make sure you back up a little bit before each poke. NOTE: If the Godskin Apostle is close to the nobel during this process he may may attack, or throw a ball at you.
i just.. killed them. i'm level 109 and basically just summoned recusant bernahl and my mimic tear, then spammed ancient dragon's lightning strike. i think it might be because the move is aoe that they didn't immediately focus me, or maybe bernahl is just a beast and kept their agro.
I beat em today, used bernhal npc summon and blasphemous blade. The trick is to seperate the two of them, when i managed the fatso the npc managed the tall one. But the headache is they come again and again till the health bar on bottom drains completely. One hell of a fight.
If you ever do it again, let bernhal focus fatty. Since the tall guy is WAYY weaker, you can knock him out quickly and just double team fatso. If you can get him before the other guy respawns bernhal literally just camps the spawn with you and decimates their healthbar. I literally did this fight in 2 tries. Praise the Volcano Manor.
THEY WILL NOT ATTACK TOGETHER if you make sure that the Noble is directly in front of your character - meaning, the Apostle is totally blocked. But if you can see the Apostle, meaning he can see you too, then expect fireballs and jump attacks from him.

Here's how I beat them. Get your rykards great sword and travel to mogwyns palace overlook site of grace. Proceed to farm approx 8million runes until Im at level 160. Respec for the sword of night and flame +10. Use your mimic summon. Pound the crap out of them with the azure shot until dead. Bam. Done.
The best tip I can give for parrying is this: try to parry the hand, not the weapon. It may seem weird at first, but if you watch the hands closely you'll notice that you can match your parry timing when it starts to move toward you when they attack. Give it a try, take some time to practice it!

This boss fight feels as though one of the developers kid's told dad to add 2 challenging bosses to one tiny room. Dad listened.
There's another site of grace right outside the bossfight room and there is also a summon next to it which makes the fight a lot more easier

i used a summon thats right outside the boss room with a +10 mimic tear and i melted this boss xD it was way too easy

Found the sleeping arrows with mimic the easiest strat. Smashed it firt try with that

Yeah that's how the boss works, intentionally so. This is why I recommend focusing on one at a time.

While this is the answer for some, there's others that prefer to try to defeat bosses solo. There's always several approaches and this is just mine.
