I like both the Oklahoma backs but Perine is a beast. He has that lower body strength. Only 4 backs I truely want Cook, Foreman, Perine & Mixon.
Well 4 years later cook & Mixion are the only two having good careers in the league.

kind of reminds me of jones-drew. built low, has good speed, and doesn't make too many cuts. after he cuts hes lowering that shoulder on someone. can catch the ball pretty well too.

Brent Oslund Ty's a change of pace guy, this is the type of running back we need for short yardage situations. when he drops his shoulders, you're making a business decision trying to tackle him. 30 reps in bench press was unreal. he possess good balance.
Ty's pretty small for goal line and short yardage. don't get me wrong glad he's on our team, so versatile.

Perine is like a bowling ball. A lot of people are sleeping on him because this is such a deep running back class but he's got bellcow potential.

If I'm a GM and have a middle round pick and I can have this guy or Mixon then I'm picking Perine. Solid guy. Produced all 3 years. 4,000 yards and 51 TD's running and receiving. Team Captain. Just got engaged to his girlfriend of five and a half years. Mixon is a talented running back but he's got serious issues. I'm not putting him on my team. This guy has no issues.

NeverTalkToCops1 Kelley has vision, not a large injury history, and was extremely stable last year putting up 100 yard games by himself. Also, he has the ability to break off big runs. I like Marshall but he should sit on the practice squad a year longer.

Man, I thought Skins were gonna go with the explosive-type back to split with Kelley, but this pick makes too much sense now. It is going to be ugly for LBs to try and deal with Kelley and Perine all game. That's too much damn power. I also love Perine's versatility as a 3rd down back. Chris Thompson is so talented, he can really start to explore the limits of his talent. Thompson is a great pass blocker, but I still wouldn't want a LB smashing into his small frame every other 3rd down. Perine can block, he can catch, he's big...let that man Thompson explore the slot. This was a good good pick.
