Jamblo i noticed that the piece to clip the barrel in place tended to fall off often. may i suggest experimenting with swivel pieces to vertically unattach the piece from the barrel while the piece stays on the top end of the handle?

Yes but only the handle becouse the barrels of mdun one are seven studs long

What did you use to connect them at the end
he connected the barrel with the two hinges at the bottom then he used a smooth tile to connect the barrel and the grip together at the top.
