I've been a little tardy in viewing your Summer adventures. They were enjoyable, as always. And it's always interesting watching a professional chef at work. May I share with you the one and only kitchen trick that I have learned/invented in all my years? To remove the seeds and placenta of jalapeños, I use a (serrated) grapefruit spoon. Works great; no sharp edges for the non-professional to worry about.

That's such a smart idea! We surprisingly don't own a grapefruit spoon, but that might be a kitchen hack worth investing in!
