It's only a short-term thing but it does help for that short while. i hope it might help you out too
I worked with TMJ a lot and it's way better to use your thumbs against your upper and lower teeth and stretch. You have these receptors that monitor the stretch of the muscle. If you hold a stretch for 10-15 seconds you should feel the muscle relaxer and allow you to stretch more. You can stretch diagonal. You can even get fancy and try to bite down for 10 seconds, relax and go into a stretch. The contraction of the muscle gets more fatigued and you can get a better stretch. Those little articular discs can get caught as well.
My jaw has been cracking ever since I can remember, when I’m chewing or talking it cracks and it doesn’t close smoothly at all to just sort of clicks into place, im wondering if there’s anything that can be done to fix it or not
The first time I went to a chiropractor he was a prev. I was maybe 17 at the time and he was checking the alignment of my spine my flicking my butt and staying in the area the longest. He also checked my sternum and seemed very pleased to be over top of me. Terrifying experience and he hurt my neck.
My mom told me that you only see a chiropractor if you cannot, for the life of you, crack your back, and cracking your back will relieve a lot of pain and other issues you have from not being able to crack it and ONLY after you have exhausted all other options.
This just made me think of the first time I saw my current dental hygienist. When he had me open my mouth, my jaw popped so loudly that he thought he hurt me or something 😂 I had to explain to him that it just happens when I have to open my mouth really wide and it didn't really hurt

@@abc12545interesting. My jaw has cracked like that for as long as i can remember. Like since a pretty young age. I haven't done any research bc its not like it hurts or anything. My jaw opens hella wide though.
@@4shame773 i think i have it. it started 2 years ago in the summer for unknown reasons and it hasn't stopped, it started as jaw pain and ever since i gotten braces its been clicking everytime i open my mouth, recently my jaw started locking and its been really scary, and ive tried alot of stuff to relax my jaw and to make it stop clicking and popping but nothing seems to work, im hoping when i get my braces off it will fix but im not sure, maybe what you have is diffrent, maybe you just have something genetic but idk, if its not causing you pain or discomfort i think its ok
@@abc12545 something that helps me at times is to open my mouth wide and look for the joint where the pain comes from, press into it slightly but firmly with my fingers, and trace my fingers down my jawline to my chin. I saw it in a tiktok once and I was skeptical but it actually works and relieves a lot of the discomfort.
That was the dryest "PUHHHHH" i ever heard-
Ngl, I think I need this. My jaw has been clicking like this since I was 13 and it happened so randomly. I haven’t been able to get it fixed since.
Go to a dentist they can fix it
same, is it necessary to get it fixed though?
My jaw has been cracking ever since I can remember, when I’m chewing or talking it cracks and it doesn’t close smoothly at all to just sort of clicks into place, im wondering if there’s anything that can be done to fix it or not
@@Sammster101long term treatment although there is no risk
Bro took cracking bones to a WHOLE other level😅😅
Bro was bout to send this woman to the gods
I had severe tmjd and had to get SURGERY to fix it. My chiro cousin got mad and was like “I could’ve fixed it…” SIR NO YOU COULD NOT
What surgery did u get to fix ur TMJD?
The first time I went to a chiropractor he was a prev. I was maybe 17 at the time and he was checking the alignment of my spine my flicking my butt and staying in the area the longest. He also checked my sternum and seemed very pleased to be over top of me. Terrifying experience and he hurt my neck.
I felt the pain bro girl left the earth for a minute💀
It looked her teeth were about to fall godamm 😂
I have TMJ and this video made me want to cry
Man you deserve subs I'm a subscriber, too.
Ok but I felt that 😭
bro tryna use his kungfu legally 💀
We need a bracket update, you’ve had that thing for forever 💀
My mom told me that you only see a chiropractor if you cannot, for the life of you, crack your back, and cracking your back will relieve a lot of pain and other issues you have from not being able to crack it and ONLY after you have exhausted all other options.
This just made me think of the first time I saw my current dental hygienist. When he had me open my mouth, my jaw popped so loudly that he thought he hurt me or something 😂 I had to explain to him that it just happens when I have to open my mouth really wide and it didn't really hurt
Girly saw Jesus
HE LITERALLY SENT HER JAW TO HEAVEN- 💀🤌
How do I get rid of the cracking tho???
Fr nice video but where the treatment at?
Did he just start a chiropractor and dentist beef 😂
All other people in the medical field hate chiropractors because they don’t immediately thing that drugs with solve everything. It’s sad that I watched my mom go through the same schooling and work super hard to be told she was not a “real doctor”
@@tidal_fnfr not every chiropractor is a scammer
Idk HOW THIS WOMAN LIVED- HER FACE GOTTA BE SCRRAMING RN
That sounded so painful I can’t imagine what she was feeling
*I bet if I pull this off on someone's dead heart, it gonna be alive in no time*
There are two beliefs that tell me I won't get along with someone. Unironic belief in horoscopes and genuine belief in chiropractors.
I had the same problem as hers i just watched a youtube video on some dr teaching some exercises. My jaw was ok afterwards 💀
Wait what are you supposed to do i have the problem
Okay, but how do I fix the loose ligaments? 😭
Go to a dentist they will probably recomand a mouthpiece you should wear that will bring your jaw back into position
@@alexandruandrei4362 hmm that's... not really true, it depends on a lot of factors
you need to go to a dentist who specialises in jaw dysfunction they're the only ones who can diagnose and treat your problem
That was the most genuine PUUUH of shock I’ve ever seen this man do LMAO
Ouch 😓
Chiropractic is so widely known to not be evidence based that I'm surprised people can still legally practice it.
Chiropracters are extremely skilled in their work and never hurt patients.
@thebentist thank you for clearing that up because I would see other chiropractors videos with that table and I always thought the same thing
Hey. I feel AMAZING after the chiropractor. They work magic on my back tbh.
nah chiropractor literally saved my life from back pains. just make sure they are certified.
That activated my fight or flight response so bad my legs just started going like I was gonna run but I am laying down in bed lmao
The loudest “PUHHHHHHHHHHHHH” I have ever heard 😂😂😂
my dentist prescribed massages when my tmj (due to bruxism caused by stress) got really bad. i went to a specialized physiotherapist that struggles with tmj herself. she managed to release most of the tension, at least for a while. but she never smacked my jaw into another dimension
Chiropractor: “Open”
Chiropractor: “And close.
Chiropractor: “Just so you know I don’t work for this place.”
“Woman”: WAIT N-“

Ok ok ok I hear you, BUT…my jaw was out of alignment from bad TMJ, and the chiro put it back into alignment! It totally cured my TMJ.
(If he didn’t work, my next step was seeing a jaw surgeon 😭)
Then I got a medical device for sleep apnea, and that has prevented any TMJ issues moving forward. 💕
One year ago, how are you doing?
@@tayloralisonswift9544 Haven’t had jaw problems since! I struggled for so long, but now I forget what it was like.
That chiropractor done went KKKKKKKKKKKKCCCCCCCCC BANGGG
Bro took the dentist open and close mouth to a whole other level💀
Omg i screamed😂 that crack was so uncomfortable!!
as a person with TMJ, that is A ONE WAY TICKET TO GETTING IT
I felt like I was about to here Diane tell Agent 47 good job
Ty!!!!! I was wondering why it was clicking!
I FELT THAT PAIN 😨😢😖
As someone with tmj/lockjaw don't have your jaw popped for no good reason. And if you feel that it's necessary go to your dentist. There's a spot in your upper part of your mouth that you can push on to pop it if it needs to be set
His reaction at the start was hilarious 😂
Haaaaaah ho ho ho ho
