I even got the gap jump 2/3 times yesterday. I love inside drift. Always have been an inside drift main, always will be. But ive started to switch combos every now and then like you do, and i think it cause me to be rusty. You did better than i expected on inside drift. Gg man. It was fun racing against you. Hope to see you on the track again.
Well again a legendary cart player you did better that I would have. Remember your mistake was switching to inside drift. Next time you will beat him with the power of shock.
I have the same experience, getting rusty with inside drift when I switch off it. You did great though! It’s pretty hard to adjust playstyles on the fly like that. Something that helps is to play a high handling combo (like Yoshi Bike Rollers) whenever switching back to inside drift after not practicing a bit. Then when you’ve gotten that bit of practice in, switch back to the usual one. I like playing Daisy Sport Bike with Hot Monster, but it’s a very hard combo when you don’t have the practice. It’s all about being prepared and knowing what your vehicle can do and its limits.
I love how ShortCat is just making an entire video and competition out of ShortRat, who likely has no idea this is happening and is just trying to play Mario kart
I know you had nothing to do with it but the Walugi troll added such good content. It is like in a murder mystery game where you see the killer. The suspense was breathtaking
7 minutes in is one of my favourite moments in any of your videos, just the absolute chaos of having 2 front runners combined with the sabotaging waluigi is absolutely hilarious
That Thwomp Ruins race was the most I've laughed at a Shortcat video for the pure chaos. Gets wrecked by the Waluigi player twice, shocked out of the shock and ShortMole finishes off Shortcat with the triple red trail. Loved every moment of that race.
The ghost of Waluigi-Wiggler doesn't take too kindly to your kind, 'round here! Also, what about a challenge where you have to change kart/tires every race? And you start from what the game starts you with, and just switch to stuff you would have normally progressively unlocked as your first playthrough?

I love watching your videos cause I find the way you find fun in the game to be so refreshing lol. you dont seem to take things overly seriously even though you care about improving, and you find fun in little things that are a bit silly and not the point of the game. New challenge idea: you must smuggle all last-place items into a top position (3rd or higher) in their purest forms (i.e., all items in the Crazy 8 must remain intact and unused, no using the Golden Mushroom until after it's been smuggled, etc.). Love these videos; keep it up!

When I watch Shortcat play I always think, "I could do that"
But when I play, I suck. That shows his skill, he does it so naturally.
You should do a video where you have an eye tracker on or like a screen to show what buttons your pressing, love the content btw
