The family can sue the husband even if the police did not find him at fault. Additionally, it would be good to call attention to his repetitive accidents after which he sues the other person/the person’s insurance company because they appear to be on purpose for the money.

I worked in insurance, the payout goes to the beneficiary, who doesn't have to be the premium payer. The life insurance policy is for the dependants, not the policy holder.

Spending time with grandparents are very important. Lost my last grandparent (grandma) in 2015 she was 98. She helped my mom raise me and my siblings and she was a massive influence in the lives of my children. I was born on her 60th bday.

Yeah killing your spouse for money is a huge thing in the USA..
