Well this is good for you, because now you get to make another video about how you were wrong about heliocentric! 😂 Seriously, I have receipts: My evidence is the fact that I did every master root of nightmares challenge this week, and this sidearm was stapled to my energy slot on solar. Heliocentric has several things that drang doesn't: - much better third column perk options: Demolitionist and Heal Clip, especially Heal Clip - a much better origin trait: Nadir Focus - cammycakes's approval And it still has incandescent and lightweight frame. On any solar sub class, ifstrap on ember of benevolence, heal clip will keep your health and abilities topped off *forever*, because heal clip **also heals your friends**. Something you'll realize after using it for a bit is that you can wait to reload, and time it for when you want the heal. It's not just heal on kill, you can kill, and then bank the healing for when you need it a few seconds later. So many times I'll kill an ad, see a friend who's in trouble, and run over to them before I reload so that I give them healing and proc my fragment. Slap on full auto retrofit to save your trigger finger, yes seriously instead of minor spec, and this think can still whittle down adds into hand cannon range if you dump the mag with nadir focus. Two very attractive parts of Drang (lightweight frame and the clean+narrow sight model) are also present on heliocentric, so you're not missing those either. Fallout, straight up this one is worth it. As heal clip comes out on more good primaries, it's going to be a meta defining perk, I stg.
For higher level gameplay, Battle Scar is actually an enormous farm, because the alternative is running Gambit and hoping you get the right Breakneck perkset (it has a MASSIVE perk pool. nobody farms *that* much gambit without some serious therapeutical needs). Before this, it was literally the one weapon aside from Nox i was keeping my eye on, until it became farmable this season. Shoot to Loot + Kinetic Tremors. Shoot to Loot procs off of Tremors, meaning it becomes one of your safest farming weapons, and it only drops on two weapons, those being Battle Scar and the gambit auto rifle Breakneck. Battle Scar is farmable in lost sectors, and breakneck is specific to gambit. Difference is, Battle Scar has a 1/36 chance of getting you your desired roll per drop (1/30 if you run Master lost sectors to farm it, since itll have a 2nd perk in the left or right column with all master champions killed) while Breakneck random drops are a literal 1/132 chance of dropping with STL+KT per roll. If you farm gambit to reset ranks, sure you can get it, but that means farming gambit. So consider farming master sectors for Battle Scar if you want that STL+KT god roll (currently at 12% of all masterworked rolls on light.gg). Also, Heliocentric can drop with Heal Clip + KC/Incandescent, and that can be farmed on the same day as Battle Scar. Last Foray and Hand in Hand can be farmed on the same days, and the only worthwhile drop on either are Env Assassin + Cascade Point on last foray for interesting endgame content (allowing you to get radiant instantly from this season's artifact, and nice as a side weapon against bosses like Hefnd's Vengeance if you dont have a good fusion) and Ensemble/Shot Swap + One-Two Punch for the shotgun with that high handling.
there's an extra awesome use for the Wild Card origin trait on PSI Hermetic combined with Headstone and Whisper of Rime on Stasis. when you land that precision kill, the submunitions from Wild Card can auto-detonate the crystal made from Headstone, which has been pretty fun to play around with recently c:
For newer players (and those that didn't play the WQ-era), also make sure you go use your Gunsmith Engrams at banshee to focus the old foundry weapons. Nice hidden gems in there, just not a whole lot for veterans since that era. Other weapons: Old Sterling with Rewind Rounds and Frenzy/Hatchling that can't do RoN and Battle Scar with Shoot to Loot and Kinetic Tremors. Been having a lot of fun farming LS (something that I haven't done in ages) and is definitely what I'll be doing in the slow part of this season
Osmosis Lodbrok is nice for PvP when you want to run triple Targeting/Reload/Stability mods for a light subclass, with a shotgun, sniper, or fusion in your energy slot. There are other options but this matches frame to the Ammit meaning you can lead competition especially considering every other Osmosis auto has it in their 4th column, while Lodbrok has it in the 3rd. Leaves you open to KC or Target Lock and makes for a nice pvp weapon with the right loadout. Flashbang nades for arc, firebolt for solar, scatter for void. Those are the lowest cooldown nades to make the most use of it in pvp. There are definitely hidden gems in the foundry that just haven't been touched in ages because they were world drops, but are now focusable.
Of note, the four weapons available each day are directly correlated to the slot for the exotic armor and the armor always rotates Head >> Boots >> Arms >> Chest >> Repeat. Even if you don't have or lose track of your calendar listing exact dates, just keep a mental note of something like "[weapon I want] is on [armor] day" and you can look at whatever today's exotics slot is, and know when your next opportunity will be. Also, even if you don't want Heliocentric, Battle Scar is on the same days and can roll some fun/great PVE combos like Shoot to Loot/Kinetic Tremors.
Heliocentric sidearm with incandescent and heal clip has replaced calus mini tool for me. At least this season with anti-barrier sidearm. It’s a really tight weapon. Heal clip is so much more consistent than unrelenting because the reload speed is stupid fast.
@@Researcher83master guarantees a drop with 2 perk slots and there are some decent weapons to go for. Even more next season when ros and crux termination make it in there.
Lost sector lovers 😍 also gjallarhorn + rain of fire is very fast in every lost sector this season, especially the 3 dreaming city and EDZ sectors. Hunters and titans can run strand instead with gjallarhorn
Honestly I prefer Xenophage. The ammo economy is better and it always gets a consistent 6 or 7 tap kill once the champ is stunned. Gally is only really good this season because of all the RL based artifact perks, where as Xenophage will always be an excellent and consistently reliable option.
Master Lost Sector farming is actually pretty rewarding these days, you can simultaneously farm cores, world drop weapons, and exotic armour for one class all at the same time. For an activity that takes on average 5-6 minutes that’s pretty good
Drang does exist, but Helio is honestly better in a lot of ways now. Heal clip or demo with incandescent. For pvp it's got some solid perks as well as the nadir trait.
The only reason for why I wouldn't keep using Drang is because of the ghost bullet thing. Sometimes I feel like bullets just disappear when firing at max rate of fire. So I've nearly fully switched over to Heliocentric.
Yep that's exactly why I moved from Drang to Redback and then to Helio. Redback is really nice with rampage and veist stinger activating together in pvp
Heliocentric also has that thin weapon model that makes aiming so nice, Nadir focus, lightweight frame, and heal clip. I miss drang for those crispy crits, but not that much

There is one weapon you failed to mention in this list, and that is the Senuna SI6. This weapon rolls with two fourth column perks that only a select few other sidearms have. For the third column, you want Feeding Frenzy, though Slickdraw is a good choice for PvP thanks to the significant handling boost it gives. The fourth column has some rare peeks for sidearms. The first is Headseeker, which is great for PvP. I should mention that it is one of only two sidearms that can roll with this perk. For PvE, it can roll with Headstone, which makes it great for Stasis builds. Considering that sidearms have intrinsic Anti-Barrier this season, this makes it a solid weapon.
For any Gyrfalcon's Hauberk PvE hunters out there. Harsh Language with Field Prep / Stats For All / Envious in the third and Repulsor Brace in the fourth. Easily the best wave frame to use in a Gyrfalcon build. Also try to get a kinetic weapon with osmosis in case you run out of special ammo.
@@sand_sand7304 The thing with Permeability is that it only rolls on Energy slot weapons so you might as well just use a Void weapon. With Osmosis it rolls on Kinetic slot weapons which allows you to run triple void weapons as well as take advantage of the intrinsic bonus damage of Kinetic weapons.
Honestly with it's already fairly high reload speed stat I would argue you could go any perk in the 4rd column. Like nothing is bad. Thread Detector is great though is similar to Surrounded in needing a trigger via enemies. Wellspring is great too just for that ability regen from kills (which you'll get a lot of from the Wave frame GL). Honestly it's only underwhelming perk might be Adrenaline Junkie only because you don't have Demolitionist to pair with it, though I guess Wellspring can kind of take its place (but not as great). It's honestly a good Wave frame GL with pretty much 0 bad perks lol.
Honestly love my reconstruction hatchling Glissando. 33 in the mag is nothing to scoff at for a scout, and when you build for threading’s the gun turns into a hatchling factory.
The Ros Arago is also a pretty good pull, especially after the Onslaught rework. That plus Subsistence or Rewind Round absolutely slaps (also the only other 600rpm void auto is Gnawing Hunger and good luck farming that)
You can never go wrong with Xenophage in Masters, just bring along 2 primary options for stunning the champs and once stunned lay into them with Xenophage for a sweet 6 or 7 tap before they unstun. Honestly i tried all sorts of builds utilizing special ammo weapons and different exotics but each time id inevitably run into ammo issues or just lacking the raw power to take out the champs before they unstun and just heal up. Xenophage is so strong and super consistent its just too good to bother messing with any other weapons.
ive been trying for good a nox perineal for a while now. ive done 170 master lost sectors and gotten so close, Ive been looking for a max range, under pressure kickstart roll for PvP, its a lot of fun even with a 4/5 roll
the double perks are a nice bonus to these as well. next season you should be able to get the crux rocket with slideshot AND recon plus a damage perk, or one of those reload perks and the option to switch between surrounded/explosive light
I got a Nox Perennial to drop with envious/controlled burst like 3 days after warlords ruin came out and that thing has been glued to me. Especially with radiant, surge mods, and unraveling orbs, horde shuttle from the artifact, it does heavy ammo levels of damage. To me that's the gun you oughta be farming over all the others.
6:45 Skaryton is like THE one you're looking for when trying to figure out how to quickly do a lost sector ahahah. Dude did speedruns for every one of them
@TheJavie06 agreed. I dismantled my drang. Helio with Heal Clip/Incandescent + Precious Scars is stupid powerful. TrueVanguard made a vid on it in crucible aswell
One weapon you didn't mention that may be worth looking at is the MARSILION-C grenade launcher. Sure the trials one exists but Marsilion is a rapid fire frame that gets Envious with either explosive light or cascade point. Koraxis from Root of Nightmares is the only other rapid fire worth looking at with reconstruction and either surrounded or frenzy.
Meh, it's a mid weapon both on paper & in the field TBH. I've gotten the godroll you're referencing multiple times already, & while I did keep one, I rarely use it. It's not bad, there are just so many more weapon options for that heavy slot & its only effective in world or seasonal content. If anything Ros Arago is the weapon not included on the list that should be IMO.
Just some advice to players looking for juicy rolls on exotic armor! Destiny 2 separates stats into two buckets. The first is mobility, resilience, and recovery. The second is intellect, Discipline, and strength. These two buckets of stats usually equal each other, (32 stats between recovery mobility and resilience leads to about 32 stats in discipline, strength, and intellect) Since you usually want 2 stats in the first bucket (Resil and recov for warlocks and titans, and all 3 on hunter) it is significantly more beneficial to use your ghost mod on one of the bottom 3 stats, as you typically only need one of them for a build.
Y'know the only gun I would say is a fun sniper to keep is the exact roll of Irkua that you showed. FF procs on half of base mag cap; Overloading 22 shots in means 19 shots of 20% boosted damage left. Plus its a RF Sniper with 22 shots; Its a limited ammo Scout with boosted damage!
dragon's breath is the skeleton key for legend lost sectors. equip overload rockets, proc radiant and it can deal with all 3 champions no sweat. most of my runs are sub 1:30 on most of the lost sectors. 2 ish minutes if you are doing a master version
I've actually been mad lucky with my world drops this season. Got the god-roll PVE Nox Perennial, grabbed a few solid PSI Hermetics, and got a no distractions/kill clip Combined Action with flared magwell for speedy reloads. All I'm really looking for now is that Glissando...

I picked one of these up completely by accident and it rolled immediately with kill clip and two other perks which increased range, handling and other stats plus a reload speed masterwork that would synergize with the kill clip perk. I wasn't even farming for it, I just picked it up by accident.
You said Drang might be better, but Heliocentric has Demolitionist and Incandescent or Heal clip and Incandescent, that's something that Drang doesn't get at all so it's actually worth chasing for that roll alone.
My faves from Lost Sectors: the 2-tapping Combined Action with Adagio, and I'm currently farming for a Hand in Hand in Elemental Capacitor. Oh and the Heliocentric with Heal Clip and whatever you want on the last column. Already got godroll Psi hermetic, and can confirm it's great. The Lost Sector loot is legit tldr
Psi hermetic is definitely worth going after, only high impact that can roll golden tricorn, giving it kill clip ttk without reload requirement and a longer timer
No heliocentric hurts my soul. Solid replacement for calus mini tool, heal clip incandescent, pvp rolls plentiful (I have perpetual kill clip, hunting for heal/kill clip). On top of it being a lightweight sidearm with a .67 ttk, it has amazing perks, and feels great on console and pc.
Bit of an opinion but it involves the artifact champion mods Hear me out.. Only 3 champion mods in the first column Unstoppable bursts: burst type weapons ( pulse rifles, rocket launchers, and sidearms) can stun unstoppable champions Sustained overload: automatic weapons can stun overload champions. Auto rifles, SMGs and machine guns. Piercing precision weapons: scout rifles, sniper rifles, bows and linear fusion rifles can stun barrier champions Second column would determine the builds and would contain solar, strand, arc, void and stasis and depending on your selections that would determine the mods of columns 3,4, and 5 These mod would rotate with each other by the season.
For newer or casual players- Heliocentric w/ incandescent + healclip will make everything that isn't end-game content easy for around 5 months :3, I even solo'd the new dungeon with it :D
If you own Season of the Wish you can also craft the Rapid-Fire Frame Strand Fusion Rifle: Scatter Signal, it can roll with Overflow + Controlled Burst!
Sure they can roll the same but the whole point behind NOX is that it's a High Impact frame which has a higher damage ceiling than the Rapid Fire frame of Scatter Signal. And as FP said he was looking for the Nox for PVE so the higher dmg ceiling is much more preferable, especially with controlled burst as it cuts the charge time quite a significant amount while also increasing the dmg of an already super punchy fusion.
The most important thing to do is put prosperity on your ghost. I have every world loot pool god roll (I think) ever since doing that. Even got the slide shot crux rocket launcher I will probably never use. Combined action with adagio? Yep. Rox auto with onslaught? You bet.
Harsh Language can get four in the mag if you abuse the (still not patched) Envious Assassin glitch. Get a kill to load the second round. Swap to it & swap back off. Then get two more kills and voila, 4 rounds in your breech-loaded, single-shot GL 😂 Should work with other weapon types too & overfill the overfill
Just as a heads up, you can get recon/bipod to consistently have 4 in the mag and never manually reload. Apex is also able to get this roll for surge matching purposes
Heliocentric is good, just not really for PvP when compared to Drang. It's a good PvE alternative for people who don't have a good No Survivors from GoTD and who want a close range option that can roll with both Demo and Incandescent.
Harsh Language is actually a really nice wave-frame for void builds because of envious and Destabalizing. Forbearance obviously doesn't have those capabilities
Okay, hate to be that guy after fallout made a point to call out heliocentric fanboys, but it honestly has a very fun PVE roll in demo/incandescent. In a world with anti barrier sidearm and a very very Solar artifact, getting grenade energy back on kills is always fun and incandescent is a tried and true perk. Ground mine out during the dawning when lost sector grinding ran triple duty between exotics, weapons and dawning essence.
I cannot tell you how many envious controlled burst rolls I've gotten on the fusion. There was a point I had two in the post at once. I've used it for a while and I gotta say.... Just use scatter signal.
I already have 3 of the weapons mentioned with the rolls you described. Haven’t got a chance to try the combined action roll but I’ll get around to it.
Last season we were given the Geodetic HSm sword which I was fortunate enough to receive with both Repulsor Brace and Destabilizing Rounds, making for an excellent Void build sword. This season, the ritual weapon is Chivalric Fire, which offers the same perk options on a caster frame. But if you want the same build on an adaptive frame instead for whatever reason, I recommend going for Geodetic. Couldn't hurt to have options, right?
Honestly when it comes to pvp I don’t put down my Hung Jury with rapid hit and box breathing. Tried many other setups but nothing compares to that sweet 3-tap and insanely fast reload. Also probably causes less mental anguish to farm for (AKA post up in front of Zavala in the tower for a bit and blow all your vanguard engrams).
The only reason why I’d farm for heliocentric would be the fact it can roll with demo incandescent. Yes, the gotd SMG can roll it but this is a world drop we’re talking about and not everybody has the dungeon key.
My advice for all that are looking for quick farms: Gally everything. Clears out as many trash mobs and champs, along with some extra DPS on bosses. Happy hunting
not to mention a bunch of other top tier rocket perks like envious, explosive light, field prep, surrounded if youre a little bit crazy and its the only rocket with slideshot. only thing its missing is a good damage perk and it would probably be one of the best rockets in the game
Yes Drang is "better" than Heliocentric, but helio has heal/Kill Clip or heal clip/incandescent, plus if you didn't get craftable drang, you'll have to use deepsight harmonizers on it when xur sells it or get lucky with drops from presage. TLDR don't sleep on Heliocentric if you're capable of beating a lost sector. I have crafted drang with enhanced perks, and a perfect Heliocentric feels better to me on controller.
Glad we can finally target world drops but Bungie needs to update gunsmith focusing to be for all wrapons, not just the older ones. I haven't focused a single gunsmith engram because anything I care about I've already gotten drops of at this point
Okay, serious question- isn’t scatter signal a better option than Eremite and Nox? It’s got overflow/controlled burst, and it’s rapid fire so it doesn’t feel like hell to use. Am I missing something?
It depends on content. Both very good but if we're talking about DPS and total damage I believe a controller burst High Impact like Nox Perrenial or Eremite would out damage a Rapid Fire. The thing with Scatter Signal though is that because it's the only Rapid fire with Controlled Burst, it can get pretty close in DPS to the High Impacts, though I think using slightly more ammo. In most situations you're fine with the Scatter Signal but in lets say long boss DPS phases where you're going to be using it as your main damage either due to being on Tractor, using Dragons Breath on a non solar subclass (since you wont get as many ignitions), or not having Heavy ammo, the High Impact will provide more damage. I personally have been using my Scatter Signal more than my Nox only because I use a Slice/Controlled Burst roll. Rapid Fires already have high reload speed and as I solo more content, I like having the pocket Sever regardless of subclass for the extra DR.
High impacts have better total damage and good dps. The main reason to use a high impact is for that better total damage because rapid fires have higher dps
I believe the breakdown is that under the condition that both have Controlled Burst, Scatter Signal has higher DPS, but Nox Perennial V has higher total damage.

@Fallout you can use envious assassin on harsh language in pvp checkmate. So you can get 1 kill with your primary then have 2 shots in the mag to surprise someone. I have a disruption break and Envious Assassin. My new favorite grenade launcher since I can't get a good energy shotgun to save my life 😂
A little ironic to take drang over heliocentric when they are equally effective, but suggest farming for combined action which has arguably worst in class stats/perks for dueling. Targeted redaction is a much better (craftable) alternative

Combined Action with Zen + Timed Payload makes it very smooth, and personally better than Adagio. Pretty sure its a +3 stack per hit since its a HC and gets an extra tick with T.P.
The 5/5 Combined Action has been my white whale this season. I've farmed Master sectors for dozens of hours and had close to a hundred of them drop. I've still never even seen Zen Moment/Adagio on the same one.
Fallout can talk all the smack he wants about Helio, but when those of us who like sidearms get sick of Drang, Helio is more like The Keening but Solar. and I didn't have to sink materials into this world drop with Heal Clip.

Other weapons: Old Sterling with Rewind Rounds and Frenzy/Hatchling that can't do RoN and Battle Scar with Shoot to Loot and Kinetic Tremors.
Been having a lot of fun farming LS (something that I haven't done in ages) and is definitely what I'll be doing in the slow part of this season
Osmosis Lodbrok is nice for PvP when you want to run triple Targeting/Reload/Stability mods for a light subclass, with a shotgun, sniper, or fusion in your energy slot. There are other options but this matches frame to the Ammit meaning you can lead competition especially considering every other Osmosis auto has it in their 4th column, while Lodbrok has it in the 3rd. Leaves you open to KC or Target Lock and makes for a nice pvp weapon with the right loadout. Flashbang nades for arc, firebolt for solar, scatter for void. Those are the lowest cooldown nades to make the most use of it in pvp.
There are definitely hidden gems in the foundry that just haven't been touched in ages because they were world drops, but are now focusable.
Old Sterling is goated - i'm blown away at how much i enjoy my Rewind/Frenzy roll on my Strand Titan

Of note, the four weapons available each day are directly correlated to the slot for the exotic armor and the armor always rotates Head >> Boots >> Arms >> Chest >> Repeat. Even if you don't have or lose track of your calendar listing exact dates, just keep a mental note of something like "[weapon I want] is on [armor] day" and you can look at whatever today's exotics slot is, and know when your next opportunity will be.
Also, even if you don't want Heliocentric, Battle Scar is on the same days and can roll some fun/great PVE combos like Shoot to Loot/Kinetic Tremors.
Heliocentric sidearm with incandescent and heal clip has replaced calus mini tool for me. At least this season with anti-barrier sidearm. It’s a really tight weapon. Heal clip is so much more consistent than unrelenting because the reload speed is stupid fast.

Lost sector lovers 😍 also gjallarhorn + rain of fire is very fast in every lost sector this season, especially the 3 dreaming city and EDZ sectors. Hunters and titans can run strand instead with gjallarhorn

Honestly I prefer Xenophage. The ammo economy is better and it always gets a consistent 6 or 7 tap kill once the champ is stunned.
Gally is only really good this season because of all the RL based artifact perks, where as Xenophage will always be an excellent and consistently reliable option.
Master Lost Sector farming is actually pretty rewarding these days, you can simultaneously farm cores, world drop weapons, and exotic armour for one class all at the same time. For an activity that takes on average 5-6 minutes that’s pretty good
Drang does exist, but Helio is honestly better in a lot of ways now. Heal clip or demo with incandescent. For pvp it's got some solid perks as well as the nadir trait.

The only reason for why I wouldn't keep using Drang is because of the ghost bullet thing. Sometimes I feel like bullets just disappear when firing at max rate of fire. So I've nearly fully switched over to Heliocentric.
Yep that's exactly why I moved from Drang to Redback and then to Helio. Redback is really nice with rampage and veist stinger activating together in pvp
Heliocentric also has that thin weapon model that makes aiming so nice, Nadir focus, lightweight frame, and heal clip. I miss drang for those crispy crits, but not that much

Agreed. I think there's still a place for Drang. It can definitely snag headshots when things are working well. It just needs that consistency.
I’ve got a Keep Away / Box Breathing roll of Glissando 47 that goes so hard in pvp, that first shot completely catches people off guard
There is one weapon you failed to mention in this list, and that is the Senuna SI6. This weapon rolls with two fourth column perks that only a select few other sidearms have.
For the third column, you want Feeding Frenzy, though Slickdraw is a good choice for PvP thanks to the significant handling boost it gives.
The fourth column has some rare peeks for sidearms. The first is Headseeker, which is great for PvP. I should mention that it is one of only two sidearms that can roll with this perk.
For PvE, it can roll with Headstone, which makes it great for Stasis builds. Considering that sidearms have intrinsic Anti-Barrier this season, this makes it a solid weapon.
For any Gyrfalcon's Hauberk PvE hunters out there. Harsh Language with Field Prep / Stats For All / Envious in the third and Repulsor Brace in the fourth. Easily the best wave frame to use in a Gyrfalcon build. Also try to get a kinetic weapon with osmosis in case you run out of special ammo.
Got that dead orbit smg with osmosis and I run the wave gl or straight up wave splitter and god dam.
Permeability is way better for gyre hunter.

@@sand_sand7304 The thing with Permeability is that it only rolls on Energy slot weapons so you might as well just use a Void weapon. With Osmosis it rolls on Kinetic slot weapons which allows you to run triple void weapons as well as take advantage of the intrinsic bonus damage of Kinetic weapons.
Honestly with it's already fairly high reload speed stat I would argue you could go any perk in the 4rd column. Like nothing is bad. Thread Detector is great though is similar to Surrounded in needing a trigger via enemies. Wellspring is great too just for that ability regen from kills (which you'll get a lot of from the Wave frame GL).
Honestly it's only underwhelming perk might be Adrenaline Junkie only because you don't have Demolitionist to pair with it, though I guess Wellspring can kind of take its place (but not as great).
It's honestly a good Wave frame GL with pretty much 0 bad perks lol.
Honestly love my reconstruction hatchling Glissando. 33 in the mag is nothing to scoff at for a scout, and when you build for threading’s the gun turns into a hatchling factory.
The Ros Arago is also a pretty good pull, especially after the Onslaught rework. That plus Subsistence or Rewind Round absolutely slaps (also the only other 600rpm void auto is Gnawing Hunger and good luck farming that)
ros arago isn't in lost sectors yet and you can now focus gnawing hunger with gambit engrams

You can never go wrong with Xenophage in Masters, just bring along 2 primary options for stunning the champs and once stunned lay into them with Xenophage for a sweet 6 or 7 tap before they unstun.
Honestly i tried all sorts of builds utilizing special ammo weapons and different exotics but each time id inevitably run into ammo issues or just lacking the raw power to take out the champs before they unstun and just heal up. Xenophage is so strong and super consistent its just too good to bother messing with any other weapons.
ive been trying for good a nox perineal for a while now. ive done 170 master lost sectors and gotten so close, Ive been looking for a max range, under pressure kickstart roll for PvP, its a lot of fun even with a 4/5 roll
Senuna SI6 is being overlooked. A drop with head seeker is a damn fine PVP weapon.
It's a really solid little gun. I just wish it'd give me 60 bullets in the magazine when I get he right perks. It caps at 42.
the double perks are a nice bonus to these as well. next season you should be able to get the crux rocket with slideshot AND recon plus a damage perk, or one of those reload perks and the option to switch between surrounded/explosive light

ive got a zen moment adagio combined action with accurized, armor-forged, and range masterwork. The snowballing potential with this thing is AMAZING.
I got a Nox Perennial to drop with envious/controlled burst like 3 days after warlords ruin came out and that thing has been glued to me. Especially with radiant, surge mods, and unraveling orbs, horde shuttle from the artifact, it does heavy ammo levels of damage. To me that's the gun you oughta be farming over all the others.

One weapon you didn't mention that may be worth looking at is the MARSILION-C grenade launcher. Sure the trials one exists but Marsilion is a rapid fire frame that gets Envious with either explosive light or cascade point. Koraxis from Root of Nightmares is the only other rapid fire worth looking at with reconstruction and either surrounded or frenzy.
Meh, it's a mid weapon both on paper & in the field TBH. I've gotten the godroll you're referencing multiple times already, & while I did keep one, I rarely use it. It's not bad, there are just so many more weapon options for that heavy slot & its only effective in world or seasonal content. If anything Ros Arago is the weapon not included on the list that should be IMO.
Just some advice to players looking for juicy rolls on exotic armor!
Destiny 2 separates stats into two buckets. The first is mobility, resilience, and recovery. The second is intellect, Discipline, and strength. These two buckets of stats usually equal each other, (32 stats between recovery mobility and resilience leads to about 32 stats in discipline, strength, and intellect) Since you usually want 2 stats in the first bucket (Resil and recov for warlocks and titans, and all 3 on hunter) it is significantly more beneficial to use your ghost mod on one of the bottom 3 stats, as you typically only need one of them for a build.
I got a combined action with fluted, accurized, zen moment, adagio, and a range masterwork the other day. Very happy, wouldn't change a thing about it

Y'know the only gun I would say is a fun sniper to keep is the exact roll of Irkua that you showed. FF procs on half of base mag cap; Overloading 22 shots in means 19 shots of 20% boosted damage left.
Plus its a RF Sniper with 22 shots; Its a limited ammo Scout with boosted damage!
dragon's breath is the skeleton key for legend lost sectors. equip overload rockets, proc radiant and it can deal with all 3 champions no sweat. most of my runs are sub 1:30 on most of the lost sectors. 2 ish minutes if you are doing a master version
I've actually been mad lucky with my world drops this season. Got the god-roll PVE Nox Perennial, grabbed a few solid PSI Hermetics, and got a no distractions/kill clip Combined Action with flared magwell for speedy reloads. All I'm really looking for now is that Glissando...

I picked one of these up completely by accident and it rolled immediately with kill clip and two other perks which increased range, handling and other stats plus a reload speed masterwork that would synergize with the kill clip perk. I wasn't even farming for it, I just picked it up by accident.
You said Drang might be better, but Heliocentric has Demolitionist and Incandescent or Heal clip and Incandescent, that's something that Drang doesn't get at all so it's actually worth chasing for that roll alone.
My faves from Lost Sectors: the 2-tapping Combined Action with Adagio, and I'm currently farming for a Hand in Hand in Elemental Capacitor. Oh and the Heliocentric with Heal Clip and whatever you want on the last column. Already got godroll Psi hermetic, and can confirm it's great. The Lost Sector loot is legit tldr
Psi hermetic is definitely worth going after, only high impact that can roll golden tricorn, giving it kill clip ttk without reload requirement and a longer timer
No heliocentric hurts my soul. Solid replacement for calus mini tool, heal clip incandescent, pvp rolls plentiful (I have perpetual kill clip, hunting for heal/kill clip). On top of it being a lightweight sidearm with a .67 ttk, it has amazing perks, and feels great on console and pc.
I don't raid so harsh language is my wave frame of choice. Reload perks/masterwork are more important than any of the major perks

Only 3 champion mods in the first column
Unstoppable bursts: burst type weapons ( pulse rifles, rocket launchers, and sidearms) can stun unstoppable champions
Sustained overload: automatic weapons can stun overload champions. Auto rifles, SMGs and machine guns.
Piercing precision weapons: scout rifles, sniper rifles, bows and linear fusion rifles can stun barrier champions
Second column would determine the builds and would contain solar, strand, arc, void and stasis and depending on your selections that would determine the mods of columns 3,4, and 5
These mod would rotate with each other by the season.
For newer or casual players- Heliocentric w/ incandescent + healclip will make everything that isn't end-game content easy for around 5 months :3, I even solo'd the new dungeon with it :D
Headseeker on psy hermetic is nice on a decently ranged one since you can get a nice consistency boost alongside elemental capacitor.
If you own Season of the Wish you can also craft the Rapid-Fire Frame Strand Fusion Rifle: Scatter Signal, it can roll with Overflow + Controlled Burst!
Sure they can roll the same but the whole point behind NOX is that it's a High Impact frame which has a higher damage ceiling than the Rapid Fire frame of Scatter Signal. And as FP said he was looking for the Nox for PVE so the higher dmg ceiling is much more preferable, especially with controlled burst as it cuts the charge time quite a significant amount while also increasing the dmg of an already super punchy fusion.
The most important thing to do is put prosperity on your ghost. I have every world loot pool god roll (I think) ever since doing that. Even got the slide shot crux rocket launcher I will probably never use. Combined action with adagio? Yep. Rox auto with onslaught? You bet.
Harsh Language can get four in the mag if you abuse the (still not patched) Envious Assassin glitch.
Get a kill to load the second round. Swap to it & swap back off. Then get two more kills and voila, 4 rounds in your breech-loaded, single-shot GL 😂
Should work with other weapon types too & overfill the overfill
I got a crux rocket launcher with bipod and clown cartridge. It always has 3 in a mag and it’s fun as heck
Just as a heads up, you can get recon/bipod to consistently have 4 in the mag and never manually reload. Apex is also able to get this roll for surge matching purposes

Heliocentric is good, just not really for PvP when compared to Drang. It's a good PvE alternative for people who don't have a good No Survivors from GoTD and who want a close range option that can roll with both Demo and Incandescent.

Harsh Language is actually a really nice wave-frame for void builds because of envious and Destabalizing. Forbearance obviously doesn't have those capabilities

Okay, hate to be that guy after fallout made a point to call out heliocentric fanboys, but it honestly has a very fun PVE roll in demo/incandescent. In a world with anti barrier sidearm and a very very Solar artifact, getting grenade energy back on kills is always fun and incandescent is a tried and true perk. Ground mine out during the dawning when lost sector grinding ran triple duty between exotics, weapons and dawning essence.
Fallout is an Adam Ragusea fan, always knew you were a man of good taste.
I cannot tell you how many envious controlled burst rolls I've gotten on the fusion. There was a point I had two in the post at once. I've used it for a while and I gotta say.... Just use scatter signal.

I already have 3 of the weapons mentioned with the rolls you described. Haven’t got a chance to try the combined action roll but I’ll get around to it.
Last season we were given the Geodetic HSm sword which I was fortunate enough to receive with both Repulsor Brace and Destabilizing Rounds, making for an excellent Void build sword. This season, the ritual weapon is Chivalric Fire, which offers the same perk options on a caster frame. But if you want the same build on an adaptive frame instead for whatever reason, I recommend going for Geodetic. Couldn't hurt to have options, right?
Got a god roll coronach from farming these, feeding frenzy and incandescent, it genuinely feels like i have the the OG galliard from black armoury

Honestly when it comes to pvp I don’t put down my Hung Jury with rapid hit and box breathing. Tried many other setups but nothing compares to that sweet 3-tap and insanely fast reload. Also probably causes less mental anguish to farm for (AKA post up in front of Zavala in the tower for a bit and blow all your vanguard engrams).
I got a random drop for Glissando with no distractions/box breathing and it’s super solid in PVP.
The only reason why I’d farm for heliocentric would be the fact it can roll with demo incandescent. Yes, the gotd SMG can roll it but this is a world drop we’re talking about and not everybody has the dungeon key.

My advice for all that are looking for quick farms: Gally everything. Clears out as many trash mobs and champs, along with some extra DPS on bosses. Happy hunting
The crux termination rocket launcher can roll with reconstruction, bipod, meaning you can shoot 4 rockets at the same time
not to mention a bunch of other top tier rocket perks like envious, explosive light, field prep, surrounded if youre a little bit crazy and its the only rocket with slideshot. only thing its missing is a good damage perk and it would probably be one of the best rockets in the game

Yes Drang is "better" than Heliocentric, but helio has heal/Kill Clip or heal clip/incandescent, plus if you didn't get craftable drang, you'll have to use deepsight harmonizers on it when xur sells it or get lucky with drops from presage.
TLDR don't sleep on Heliocentric if you're capable of beating a lost sector. I have crafted drang with enhanced perks, and a perfect Heliocentric feels better to me on controller.
That makes me feel pretty good as I got Lost Wishes down to under 2 mins. Thanks too cos I'm going to chase that HC !

Okay, serious question- isn’t scatter signal a better option than Eremite and Nox? It’s got overflow/controlled burst, and it’s rapid fire so it doesn’t feel like hell to use. Am I missing something?
It depends on content. Both very good but if we're talking about DPS and total damage I believe a controller burst High Impact like Nox Perrenial or Eremite would out damage a Rapid Fire.
The thing with Scatter Signal though is that because it's the only Rapid fire with Controlled Burst, it can get pretty close in DPS to the High Impacts, though I think using slightly more ammo.
In most situations you're fine with the Scatter Signal but in lets say long boss DPS phases where you're going to be using it as your main damage either due to being on Tractor, using Dragons Breath on a non solar subclass (since you wont get as many ignitions), or not having Heavy ammo, the High Impact will provide more damage.
I personally have been using my Scatter Signal more than my Nox only because I use a Slice/Controlled Burst roll. Rapid Fires already have high reload speed and as I solo more content, I like having the pocket Sever regardless of subclass for the extra DR.
High impacts have better total damage and good dps. The main reason to use a high impact is for that better total damage because rapid fires have higher dps
I believe the breakdown is that under the condition that both have Controlled Burst, Scatter Signal has higher DPS, but Nox Perennial V has higher total damage.
We don’t really need nox since this season you can get that exact weapon with controled burst and overflow also a rapid fire frame and craftable

Oh btw, Idk if platinum is required for world loot drop, but certain speedruns skip champions by being faster than their spawn-in. So, keep that in mind and defeat all champions!

Nox Perennial is not worth bothering with. Scatter Signal knocks it out of the park in every concievable way.
For the gl wouldnt adrenaline junkie perk work good especially for warlocks for use of nades for clearing out a room or dps on a boss
@Fallout you can use envious assassin on harsh language in pvp checkmate. So you can get 1 kill with your primary then have 2 shots in the mag to surprise someone. I have a disruption break and Envious Assassin. My new favorite grenade launcher since I can't get a good energy shotgun to save my life 😂
A little ironic to take drang over heliocentric when they are equally effective, but suggest farming for combined action which has arguably worst in class stats/perks for dueling. Targeted redaction is a much better (craftable) alternative

Combined Action with Zen + Timed Payload makes it very smooth, and personally better than Adagio. Pretty sure its a +3 stack per hit since its a HC and gets an extra tick with T.P.

The 5/5 Combined Action has been my white whale this season. I've farmed Master sectors for dozens of hours and had close to a hundred of them drop. I've still never even seen Zen Moment/Adagio on the same one.

Fallout can talk all the smack he wants about Helio, but when those of us who like sidearms get sick of Drang, Helio is more like The Keening but Solar. and I didn't have to sink materials into this world drop with Heal Clip.
