Part of the problem with this is that ck3 caps your children at 15 no matter what and makes further children less likely the closer you get to the cap. If you want the challenge to be more interesting in the future remove the children cap.
think a good strat here would've been to make a Byzantine culture character with an intrigue/kidnapper focus, kidnap the other two and castrate them, and then just have one kid to win lol that was an absolutely hilarious video, love the teamup
@@dylancomic9088 The Byzantine cultures allow to to make male prisoners into eunachs, so you just need to go down the intrigue tree to get the abduct scheme, and once their in your dungeon it should give you the option if you have the right culture

Sterile characters can still have children, it's only a -50% fertility. I had a barren female character with a chaste husband still manage to have 3 kids. It can be done, it's just difficult - it's eunich characters that are completely incapable of having kids
If I remember correctly the number of kids is soft capped based on Rank and fertility only increases the speed at which you have kids (it was that way in CK2 don't know if it changed). So if you want to have the most kids you should probably start as an Emperor.

@@Ratich From a game design pov it makes sense, as you dont want all of the mayors + counts tanking the game performance with each of em having 10 kids intermarrying and having events; intrigues and plans etc
For one thing, it’s brilliant. For the other, there is a hardcoded maximum number of kids you can have. (Depending on ferility and spouses, but not age!) So I’d guess the most optimal ways to win would be to either castrate your oponents or stack either fertility or lifespan and to kill your kids once you reached the cap and they have offsprings already. You’ll probably need more spouses also at the same time. (Not 100%, but I think the cap is for current children, dead ones don’t count, altough gane files should be checked for it. Same goes for bastards, maybe they are viable due to this reason also)
You can always make a character at the age of 120 in the editor and then click the add sons and daughters button to maximise the amount of kids you can have.
Koifish always plays as a viking, so make sure the challenge is something a norse asatru character would be terrible at... the most counties at the end of your first character's life without waging war?
