1:27 when you think you have defeated the main force of the guard and have all ready taken heavy casualties but then a force ten times larger supported by tanks and artillery appears on the horizon and you hear the voice of one of the guardsman yell in the distance for everyone of us that dies ten more will take his place.

Mate, you do realize that they wear full carapace armor which is made from Armaplas which is a hybrid between metal and plastic and absorbs heat. The other component the use in Carapace is Ceramite and that is pretty hardcore they put that shit in the armor in land raiders.

Well, we can't help the Tau don't know how to wage war. 30 days you say? My my, that's a new low for them I guess. As for us, we have battled the tyranids countless times on countless battlefields. We shot them with lasguns, we purged them with flamers and we obliterated them with our tanks. And yet, we still have to meet the nid that can stand against a well aimed tank shell. No,my friend, the Tau rely to much on their weapons and do not realise that faith, and faith alone makes one victorious.

In retreat due to the Hive Fleets attacking the Imperium, without them, the Crusade was going along fine.
Remember, technology stagnated after the dark age of technology, and the imperial guard still have the remnants from that time, things which surpass anything we have now.
