Man, seeing your video/ song, growing up with Blink 182, and seeing the girl you cast in the video hit me so hard. She looks exactly 100 % like my fiancé who sadly passed away in 2017. I am hitting 40 in 2 weeks and this week I cried so much listening to all my favorite rock/punk songs reliving all the amazing memories and realizing how quickly life can pass you bye. I have not given up on finding love again. It is just so hectic when everyone asks you, when are you getting married, you need to get children now, you are getting old, but deep down you feel like you're just a kid inside listening to Adam's song.

Ok so firstly, the title is ridiculously clever particularly with new blink material coming out! I think everyone aged 30-40 will be able to relate to this song/ video. We all like to think our youth was just yesterday but it’s getting further and further away. This video is so well done and tells the story perfectly. Man I miss those days so bad. This song allows us all to be transported back to the early 2000s and I know I can’t be the only one who smiles listening to it. Thanks for this.

@@sworddomo1951oh god… they dont have emo lyrics and they wont pass just because they have a song called ”emo”😂 the only album that even comes close to the genre is the self titled album (2003) because tom for some reason started worshipping the genre around 2002. You need to go listen to real emo bands to get a grip of what it is. Do you actually think that bands like yellowcard are emo? (I love yellowcard btw) Sunny day real estate, the promise ring, american football, Brand new and Taking back sunday are great examples of actual emo bands

It takes a lot of talent to make me feel like I listened to this song 16 years ago with the amount of nostalgia it hits with. Bravo! Very excited for everything you’re doing.
The sound, vibe, and feeling of this took me back about 20 years. This is both heartwarming and sad at the same time, and I love it.
Man those flashback scenes took me right back to high school. What I notice the most is everyone doesn't have their face in their phones. Believe it or now we used to just hang out and talk, listen to music, or do stuff together...

My husband and I had our first dance at our wedding to I Miss You by Blink. Album released when he got out of basic training from the Army and we listened to it all the time, even when we went to visit him from boot camp graduation. Such great memories. Started listening to Blink in middle school with Dude Ranch. Thanks for keeping the memories alive. 🖤

This reminds me of high school and legit made me cry. I'm 30 now, and after HS, all of my friends (who all liked that emo stuff!) all moved on. It's been years since I've spoken to them or seen them. But I still have the memories of going to the malls, and Hot Topic, and walking around the park in the Fall right when school started. Miss just being stupid and loud and being a /teenager/. Missed the friends I had and the cheap smell of Axe body spray and the sounds of our bike tires as we drove through the woods and laughed, music in our MP3 headsets and checker-print backpacks bouncing over every rock. The way the sky would get dark and the streetlights would come on and we'd have a dumb handshake or fist bump and say 'see ya tomorrow'. Sharing Doritos and walking home from school in our band tees and anime shirts, wrists covered in bracelets and eyes with WAY too much makeup.
I do miss Blink-182, and I miss the good old days, as well.
Thank you, for taking me back to the happiest I ever was. To the smiles and laughter I thought I'd forgotten.

I love how this is both a parody and a genuine song paying homage to 00's emo music at the same time. It fills me with such a wonderful sense of confusion because I'm laughing at the joke at the same time as actually loving the music and feeling nostalgic, which makes me realise that I'm part of the joke and that somehow makes it even better 😂

This hits the nostalgic feels hard! But you know what makes me feel a bit better? There are kids out there now doing exactly what we did when we were in high school. Making these memories and hearing songs that will affect their lives forever. Its not the same as experiencing it ourselves but it does give me some inner peace.

for you I will" which was the first song i learned to play on my acoustic guitar (along with howie day's Collide). after that i shifted straight to emo music and it became my life for so long I might have been the last kid still rocking the spider bite lip piercings until i finally took them out (rip) and now im able to relive those great memories through your hilarious and amazing videos.

It’s only a meme if your listening with your eyes. To me it’s an authentic piece of audio that brings me back to not a better time but a time worth remembering. A song that lets us appreciate our friends back then prior to all the drama that drove us all apart. A song to the ex girlfriend that you wish was just a friend who you decided to hold hands with instead of letting it get complicated and messy.

Thank you Matt for yet Another relatable song. I started listening to blink when I was 12 and even after 8 years I can't let them go. One song was all it took to have a thousand memories and emotions come flooding back. Its amazing how much this feels like a song I should have been listening to for the past 20 years. Im on pins and needles waiting for the next song.
I feel like this captures my formative years pretty accurately. Like I’ll be 40 in like a month, so I graduated when Blink was on top of the world! I’ve basically never stopped listening to Blink 182, New Found Glory, and Fall Out Boy since they all had top ten hits. I’ve seen how this style has faded away into the underground, and now been embraced by the youth of today. And I can kinda understand why…. We were the last generation to have music performed by people playing instruments. Now it’s samples and remixes, and it’s all kinda lost it’s soul. I play in a local cover band, and we do a lot of stuff from the late 90’s early 2000’s. And I’ve literally had several people come up to me after a show and say, “I’ve never been to a concert that had a live drummer.” Or “Wow, I’ve never heard music like this.” I feel honored to have grown up with actual music, and really hope this new generation brings back real instruments.
