How convenient it's to provide medical support to an orphaned boy at the beginning of this video while the cameras are rolling. Western countries decisions are made with one thing and one thing in mind. the well being of the state of Israel first. This surpasses any concerns over civilian casualties, human rights, democracy in the Arab world or anything else. By confession of all military personnel in this video, their presence was to support the the ones who are aligned with Israel against the vast majority who are not. The funniest part when the clip said the french and Americans returned to provide protection to the Palestinian population after sabra and shatila massacre where Israel defense minister at the time Sharon was found guilty of, had to resign, then the same guy was elected as prime minister of Israel and continued to receive American unlimited financial, military and political support for dozens of years and until his coma and death.

Was in Beirut last year (October 2018). Boy, has that place changed. It was once (in the 1970s, before the civil war) considered the "Paris of the Middle East" and it's turning into that again.
One thing this report didn't mention was that the Constitution of Lebanon calls for the President to always be from the Maronite (Christian) community and even within the Maronite community there are factions; and one of them is the Phalangists who the President shown in this video (Bachir Gemayel) is a part of. The Phalangists sided with the Israelis in order to secure power and the multinational force led by the United States were really there to back the Israelis.
So, the US and French in particular were there to support Gemayel who in turn was backed/supported by Israel which the other Lebanese didn't like. Hence the reason why they were attacked.

You can't justify trying to make a country safe by ignoring that a major crime was committed to make a country in the first place. That's the entire problem with this situation. The Ashkenazi believe the myth that it's "...a land for a people fir a people without a land" and totally ignored that land was already occupied.

Please I recently came back from Lebanon this summer of 2019 since my last visit when the Civil War ended in 1990. I think the only way Lebanon can become stable is to become a secular country and build a new constitution outside of sectarian division that it currently has. Sidon & Tripoli also used to be majority Christian cities , but the small Muslim populations in these cities grew . I wish there was no need for intervention but you do realise lebanon although not a key war such as Korea or Vietnam can be linked to the cold war directly and indirectly, as christians all we wanted was to avoid a war with Israel and keep our good relationship with the west as it is beneficial to the country and our development as a ppls but agents of chaos and communism had already deep ties to the PLO and later the lebanese left and Syria.
Of course the lack of patriotism in lebanon is the major factor in the destruction of our country, but there were foreign pressure that aided the destruction although little of it came from the UK US or France and that is why those of us with two brain cells will be eternally greatful to you guys.
