This is an album for everyone, everywhere. Every time! I was attending Roky's concert here in Oslo Saturday 30., only a week after the 'Oslo Incident of 7/22'. He was GREAT! Even more than last he was here. I was all the time waiting for this song. True Love Cast Out All Evil would be a perfect end to the concert, especially in view of what we have gone through now. Next time, Roky? Great support act, by the way! :)
Man. This song has such amazing lyrics and glory. I just happened to right now goi through a Roky Erickson history lesson and it's ending on this amazing song. What a hard life, but what a glorious song. I need to see the doc on him too.
This is cool, and I'm very happy Roky is recording again...but to me, this doesn't even come close to him sitting with an acoustic guitar and a faster tempo. That was inspired and full of angst.
