44-1959 TR3A Making a new PS door skin Part 1

Decided to make a new door skin from scratch as the non-repaired sheet metal from recent repair was too damaged for my tastes. This video addresses the tapered curve of the door's body line. I'll refine and wheel in the lower shape in part 2.

Excellent start. You have the patience necessary to make the adjustments necessary to make a great door skin. This part is down the road but the raised plinth for the door handle is not that hard. I used the original door to make a male and female die out of 1/8" plate and JB weld. The plates are pressed together via the two holes in the door and a giant C clamp. I am willing to send you the die to use but I know you could make it on your own. Can't wait to see your progress. Frank

too bad you weren't closer you could have this good door I have and the Iditarod dogsled race starts next week I could put it on to ship it but they are going the other way.
