She looks like a doll. Beautiful!!!!! What you did with the blush looks amazing!
Monica Carranza
Completely agree, I thought I was going to love the look on the eyes the most, but the blush really made it come alive
Makes me want to wear my blush like that everyday! Will def be experimenting with mixing a few of my own blushes!
Nessvnessa The same thoughts. Everyday :)
E girls before they were cool
I agree about the blush. That was magical and so beautiful. Wow!
THIS. IS. INCREDIBLE !!! I can't believe it. She looks like she's coming out of a 1920's postcard ! A living watercolour.... so so pretty. Can't wait to see the film
That's the prettiest blush application I've ever seen!!
phenomenal 🤩
The technique you used for the blush is so incredibly inspiring!!! This is my favorite tutorial of yours in a really long time. Amazing work Lisa.
Thank you xx
Orlando Leonard plus it’s historically accurate
Almost kabuki style.
:::sitting in a pile of 50 blushes to look like a watercolor painting:::: lol!! i totally agree!!
Isn’t it just gorgeous! Blush doesn’t get the attention it deserves. I’m old school so I love draping and using blush to bronze and contour.
In my humble opinion, this is one of your best works, Lisa. It’s truly Oscar worthy!
That blush is simply GLORIOUS! 😍
Those watercolour cheeks are genius! Beautiful makeup and hair. And I'm so happy you're going to do the red look too!
That "watercolor" blush is the most amazing thing I've ever seen and I might just wear that every day forever now. What a gorgeous look.
That blush looks like a Renaissance painting😍
Lisa, I was looking up a 1920's makeup tutorial for a 1920 Tea I will be attending in April of 2022 and I found yours with Elizabeth. It actually brought tears to my eyes when you were finished. What beauty you and Elizabeth have created! I'm 66 years old but I was going to use a red wig (I'm a blond) and try as close to the same color scheme as you did. I love red and peaches, apricots, and corals.I have fair skin (I have Scot/Irish heritage) and green eyes. Thank you so much for showing the world your talent!
i’m just baffled how on a technical level, this isn’t a 1920s look and yet it still looks perfectly period
like, i feel like i could see this in some of that “rare 1920s colored footage” and it would look entirely authentic
glad you showed us this look and i’m even more happy that we will get to see more 💖
That cheek colour is a true masterpiece in itself. I’m in love 😍
I'm so inspired to try this myself. She looks like a sepia photograph with soft diffused colors added by an artist after the developing. These are the sort of photographs my grandmother had in her house.💕
The blush reminds me of a vibrant summer sunset.. one that lights up the whole sky! This is a beautiful look. Thank you for sharing, Lisa!
Char Beers that’s a brilliant way to describe it 🥰
That blush is very theatrical and also Bowie-esque. I know this was intentional coming from you. ❤️
We are so blessed to have you show us your techniques. I can’t wait to see the movie!
Her blue eyes and this gorgeous gold shade go so well together!
Every time I think there's not much more left to see...you go and do something like this! I am beyond stunned by your work, your ethic, your creativity, your polish and refinement...You keep surprising me and inspiring me.Thank you, dear Lisa!
I used to live in Shanghai, and 1920's Shanghai is still a key feature in the spirit of that city, especially in art about feminine beauty. This look reminds me so much of the makeup depicted of 1920's Shanghai.
I was so enamored by the blush that I didn't realise my mouth was gaping. FREAKING LOVE THIS. And when you said theatrical makeup I remembered how you all started loving makeup. Dreams do come true don't they!? AMAZING AS ALWAYS.
She looks like a painting that has come to life! Beautiful!
So beautifully Biba-esque Lisa. Stunning. Love the black star too! In my imagination it’s a nod to Bowie!
I’ve never ever seen such a talented makeup artist. This is glorious
Perfect model for this 1920's Inspired look! Amazing.
She looks like porcelain! So beautiful 😍
The still image makes her look almost like a cartoon. So beautiful.
You're really the only person I've watched who actually captured the look of the 20s
Dear Lisa, every tutorial is like a magica travel to your enchanted inner garden. Starting from your voice and ending with a final perfect look. Thanks! It is a great pleasure every time to see you and have you on the RUclips! ❤️
Ciao Regina! 😊
Elizabeth should def considering going red! She's gorgeus and I am so glad you decided to recreate more than one look. It's always a pleasure to see you at work.
I just saw the film and I loved the makeup! Great job, I hope you get more opportunities like this to create for films.
Me too! xx
I have never thought I would be interested in theatrical makeup since normally you cannot wear it - but honestly, I just couldn't take my eyes off this video. It was like watching a birth of a masterpiece in less than 13 minutes! + I looove old films and old makeup. Fancy, this is literally 100 years old!
This is so so so beautiful, thank you for sharing Lisa, can't wait for the other looks.
Yassssss i love this so muuuch!! Thank you Lisa, I adore these kind of editorial, artsy, fashiony looks 💕
It’s like a sunset look! I love that the yellow/gold almost blends into the blush, beautiful!
I’m so glad you decided to do more than one look! The ones you showed in the previous video are so gorgeous! Yay♥️♥️ thank you!
Wow!! I can’t wait to watch the movie now and see all the gorgeous looks you created😍
I always thank you for sharing your expertise. I adore you, Lisa!
I'm SPEECHLESS for all these wonderful colors!
You're the BEST Lisa ❤💛💚💙💜
It’s so beautiful!! Thank you for walking us through the process, can’t wait to see the others!
This look is absolutely breathtaking, down to each detail. Thank you for sharing this with us! I’m a big admirer of all your work, Lisa!
This is stunning! And an absolute pleasure to watch
The blush drapping was gorgeous❤❤❤❤❤
Magical and beautiful. A living painting. Just wow 😍
Yesssss!!! We need a series of all the looks! Can't wait to see them 😍😍😍😍
This is amazing, Lisa. You’re so talented! Thank you for sharing this with us.
So beautiful! Love the water colored blush application. Looking forward to see the red look!
It's so good to see you! Beautiful job and model.
The way Lisa holds the brush and the sheer fluidity with which it moves on the model's face shows what a talented artist she is.
Wow, so beautiful! Thank you, Lisa, for showing us this look! I especially love the blush!
You’re truly gifted! I would love to see you do a series on makeup looks from different decades or eras. I find the history of it all fascinating!
Who needs to work when Lisa posts a video?? Never clicked on something quicker!
AGREE. Never clicked on the like button quicker than her videos!!! Liked it even before it started playing ♥️
Haha! I paused what I did.🤣
Exactly me rn
This look is absolutely stunning. Everything about it makes me so happy!
THE BLUSH!!! its a work of art all those colors blended so well
You are a magician, Lisa! I really admire your artistry. ❤️
What a beautiful look! I so adore fashion and makeup from the 20’s!
Anna McCloskey thank you... yes I agree it’s such a gloriously rich decade for all things fashion. This makeup is a bit of a ‘fantasy’ version of that era ..but still with a touch of the feeling xxx
@@LisaEldridge I wear 1920s every day and try to be as authentic as possible but, I am definitely doing this for a 1920s event I am attending. Your work is so beautiful and has inspired me to expand my horizons as far as makeup and the era go. Your tutorials are really giving me more confidence in makeup, which I have never had. xo xo
@@maudelynn1728, would you mind sharing if there are any particular stores where you buy your 1920s clothes? I found only Unique Vintage online, but it's mostly evening wear, although they do have a decent selection of shoes. I love 1920s fashion so much!
What an amazing and beautiful work of art. How talented you are, Lisa Eldridge.
SOMEONE PICK ME UP OFF OF THE FLOOR!!! I just cannot handle this. How beautiful Lisa. This is my style of makeup when I do my color work. People if you don't understand the depth of Lisa's talent--here it is. UGHHHH I bow to your amazing talents Lisa really and truly.
Lisa, this is a masterpiece! Thank you again for sharing it with us and for your talent and professionalism. Your work is absolutely perfection! ♥️
Beautiful! You are so knowledgeable about period makeup!
Lisa! This is incredible! I love it when You do these more intricate looks for us. Thank You! I learn so much.
Absolute makeup heaven!! That blush 😍🧡💕 is everything!! 💗
This look is so unbelievably classic and beautiful! You are hands down my most favorite beauty guru Lisa:) Going to try this on my mom and I😊 Thank you so much for openly sharing all of you knowledge and skill with us!
Love the way your hands move when you aply the shadows, it´s seems like a ballet, so delicate, like a feather blowing in a warm breeze. Beautiful look. Thanks Lisa.
This is by far, my favourite look you have ever created! You did it so effortlessly... Was a pleasure to watch and I can't wait to see the film 👏❤️
Absolutely stunning! You are a true artist and I'm thankful you take time out to share with your viewers.💖
The blush application was breath- taking! This is such an ethereal and dreamy look! You are an Artist that does Makeup!
Superb Lisa!!! Crossing fingers for your lipsticks to come back in stock 🤞🏻🙏🏻😍💗
This look is absolutely incredible, so happy to hear that you are going to re-create all of the looks for us. Love love love 💖
I adore this so so much! I can’t wait to see more looks from dumbo and her red carpets! Having the wig from the film is incredible too!
You deserve an Oscar for your work on this film, Lisa!
I love this soft sultry look! Thank you, Lisa! Great voting, people!
This was so fun! I can't wait to see the rest of your work in the movie. You have such an amazing vision and then execute it so well, I would have never thought to pair the gold and gray, then the watercolor cheeks, so beautiful!
This is so artisticly inspiring. I thank you so much for doing what youre doing and sharing with us your process. Breathtaking!
*This is just so beautiful, Lisa! Your work is just so, so lovely. If you took a picture of her with black and white film it would absolutely look like a photo from the 20's.* 💋
I'm sitting on my toilet when it suddenly pops up that you uploaded a new video and you should see my excitement. Instantly I'm glued. Hi hi. I'll try to copy this look soon! Sooooo cool!
Love from Berlin!
Lisa, how many times can I say how amazing you are! I respect your talent and your vision! Thank you!
The blush technique is just marvelous! Beautiful, inspiring look!
Thank you for sharing your talent.😘
love your lipstick in this video!! also, love when I see a new video from you :) you are such a joy to watch!
I am SO happy that you mentioned the importance of skin tone here. My slightly pale strong olive undertone has the hardest time with black, warm browns and warm-yellows and reds. These colors are wonderful in her skin tone, I have tried many eyeshadow colors and I have found the range of coolish taupes and greyish that work particularly for lining the eyes.
This was absolute perfection, true artistry, Lisa❤️
wow amazing job! I was hypnotized from beginning to end... and the blush combo... simply incredible, love, love, love!
I feel privileged to be able to have a look at your work up close. Thank you Lisa, you are such an inspiration
What a great look! It's so interesting that I can see some biba makeup elements in this 1920's look.
卢剑雄 yes it’s delicately there xx
@@LisaEldridge OMG, the authentic Lisa. I could die now. I always regard biba girls as the flapper girls of the 1960s. And you put these connections in one look, that's genius.
Love it! I'm really enjoying this kind of editorial more artsy looks. I love the colors and techniques. I hope in the future you'll make a makeup tutorial on a monolid model. I really want to know how to do eye makeup on monolid and a face which not really have protrude cheeck bones.
I have been so inspired by your last video, too, with the inserts of the makeup with all the blush. It's been so much fun trying to recreate this in a wearable way, because it's so fun for spring, too!
SO beautiful!!! Probably my favorite look so far and I’ve watched every single one of your videos!
Incredible! So, so beautiful.
This reminds me of how much I love your historical videos. I would love to see more videos about your research into beauty history when you're hired to do period films, for example, and I would especially love to see historically accurate recreations using the products of the day.
Very thoughtful and generous of you to do more than one look from this film. You do what you love and it shows! We are very fortunate to see you do your work . Thank you!
This make up is one of your masterpieces! Wonderful Lisa! You're an Artist!
Thank you for sharing your artistry 🙏🏻✨
That’s blush is beautiful . She looks so different after
WOW Lisa!! A true makeup boss!! This is brilliantly designed and applied
This is stunning! So creative. You truly are an incredible artist, Lisa!
Genius!!!! Can you please make videos of other looks in the movie? They are all genius creations😍😍
I thoroughly enjoyed this Lisa. What a beautiful work of art! Blessings, and joy..MaryEllen
GOOOORGEOUS... might be my favourite one yet! I'm so happy you are doing more than one. I couldn't choose. Eva is one of my favourites and her look is so unique, what a treat to make her up!
Lisa this is so beautiful and inspiring, I am always completely in awe of your work. So thankful for the talent and creativity that you bring to the world!
I screamed when I saw the thumbnail! Another home run Lisa
Noah Venkatarangam thank you 😘😘
I only went to watch the film because you did the make up. It was a nice movie though.
OMG definitely breathtaking! It's so beautiful!
Thank you Lisa! The blush in this look is stunning.
