My grandparents and my father loved hulk hogan and the survival series and I remembered we would watching every years and they loved it! Sadly they have passed away and I missed them and those good old days when they were laughing and cheering and shouting and it was fun memories!
@@Joeandbros especially my grandparent are huge hulk hogan fans! Every survivor series or wrestle mania through 1992 until I left for college and lived on my own. That’s the most important thing about being old and be able to enjoy yourself and be happy! Those are good memories of mine! Love that Hogan can rip a good story he draws you in . I also hear contradicting accounts that say Hogan may have exaggerated a bit with the story’s. For me idk true or not I love listening to Hogan he’s still the man I don’t care what he does or says in his space
There isn't any contradiction about it... The guy outright lies all the time. It's sad. I don't get why someone who's lived such an amazing life would feel the need to lie to make himself look more interesting.
@@meciocio So is everybody else in the world, wrestlers in general are Story Tellers, this is literally how they make their money, for older wrestlers working the gimmick and playing the crowd is second nature. But as I always say, the only ones who lie more than old wrestlers are Republican Politicians and online fanboys looking to show how smart they are. Half the lies they say Hulk has said either Hulk has never actually said them or they're really true.
Vince Russo said in an interview that Elizabeth who was smaller than Sherri dislocated his jaw when she slapped him. And Rick Rude told Jake backstage during that angle with Sheryl Roberts Jake’s exwife that she busted his eardrum during that segment when Rude was slapped. What can we learn from this? Try not to get slapped by women. 😆😆
Most guys would be too insecure to admit they got slapped unconscious by a woman. For all the talk of Hogan being an ego manic he comes across as pretty humble in any interview I've seen of him.
First time I was ever stunned or dazed in my life was the time I yelled at my mother at 13 and she took her big abnormally sized Mike Tyson hands (on a woman at that) and socked me right in the temple. I stumbled and fell over. She picked me up and asked if I wanted another one. I don’t remember if I said yes or no but she hit me again so I must have said yes 😂
@@Joeandbros You are right but i wanted a 7 min clip or more of Hogan telling Andres stories im shocked i never seen it, Jack the snake had great ones.
To all the non-wrestling fans… you have to take what ol’ Terry says with a grain of salt. As good of a storyteller as he was in the ring he more than tops it outside of the ring. He’s been know to take liberties with the truth.
Take him for what he was. An icon. No one gets to the top of these kind of businesses especially in those times, the slimey ass 70's and 80's without at least stepping on some heads and maybe some brown nosing. But we'll never know for sure. People don't come clean about these things
Kinda bummed that Joe Rogan would have Hulk as a guest being how fake and as big a Liar he is has come out over the years. Holding talent down to keep his spot. Macho Man,Rick Rude,Mr.perfect, Ricky the Dragon Steamboat hell the Nature boy were all way better more talented and could really go hour long matches Hogan is really a mid card talent if you ask me
What are you talking about? Hogan is the Goat. He’s a rare mixture of a big man that’s also a wrestling technician in the ring. On top of that he also had those big pythons. He was also a talented rock musician. He was asked to join Metallica back in the day.
This is what i cherish more then anything.
Hearing about the history of these iconic figures in America in long format. ❤
absolutely, thanks

my favorite guest in a long time. the stories are incredible.
yeah a legend
Unfortunately, you have to take a Hulk Hogan story with a boat-load of salt. The guy is a notorious bullsh!ter!
The guy lied around 72634098560287 times during this podcast, of course the stories are incredible.
I love his reaction to Rogans assistant finding a picture of Hogans old band.
yeah he was surprised about that
this guy has been through it all, legend
he's been caught as a major liar in the past as well.
He’s a great entertainer sure, but an unbelievably slimy liar and snake too
Legend as in "myth".
I agree he’s not been perfect, who is 🤷♂️, but you cannot say that the man is not a legend in the world of wrestling
agree legend with many 'myths'
I loved Sheri Martel.
He comes across so authentic, crazy funny
great story teller
When I was 12 years old my dad took me to watch WrestleMania on CCTV at the local civic center. Been a fan of Wrestling ever since.
yeah me too
I always say Hulk, Booker, Ric we’re the best at keeping their vitality in wrestling
Cool of him to wear a Stone Cold Steve Austin 3:16 shirt. 😮
When he brought up that he was in a band thought he'd bring up him "almost" being in Metallica

a fair few tall stories from what others have been saying

he named King Kong Mosca as one of the guys he had to wrestle in early years. That was Algelo Mosca from CFL legend.
yeah for sure
One of my first memories watching wrestling as a kid was Mosca versus the Iron Sheik in a steel cage.

Man paved the way!
It's a damn shame Rogan knows nothing about pro wrestling.
thats why tony is on the episode but he doesn't really say much
It's better that way. Imagine if he did. Hogan would have been caught out with so many lies 🤣
I was hoping he was going to drop the 400 days a year lie when Joe asked him how many days a year he wrestled back then! He didn’t go for it !
@@JoeandbrosTony tried to drop in a few lines and Hogan wasn't having it.
Tony is a mark. Didn't even know about the Iron Sheik/leg break story. Cue Corny, for God's sake
You can tell Hogan really wants to talk about 70's funk music, but Rogan keeps steering the conversation back to muscles.
Hogan played bass on his Ichiban Numbah One song.
Love hulk n I'm not a big wrestling fan.. but his TRT dose must be like 1200+
yeah he must be
1977. Isn't that back with moondog Maine, and everybody's hero Pat Patterson?
hell yeah back in the day
The "How'd you do that Willis" was the best
oh yeah haha
Hulk is just a man just did things bigger than the rest of us
hell yeah brother
I had no idea Hogan’s father kicked him out when he was 17 years old.
Hogan said he started in 77 but once claimed Elvis was a huge Hulkamanic. Elvis died in 77 and Hogan didnt become Hulk Hogan until 79.
Maybe elvis likes his music.
good spot!
Hogans full of shit lol most know this
Unless he's referring to Honky Tonk lmao
Sherrie was a bad ass.
for sure

he mentions him at the start

Well Joe that leads us into the 'Why do so many wrestlers die young?"
have another clip on that too
Funny he bashes wrestling yet he has wrestlers on his show. Second wrestlers dying young, obviously, are different reasons.
as if if getting slapped by a woman wouldn't KO!
the point is getting KO’d by anyone is mad!
any woman can knockout a man
