Never heard of Kumho tires until they came on my new car. Very impressed. All around, good tire but I wouldn't say they are budget tires. Price is mid-range.
I put this brand tire on my 2005 crown Victoria back in April 2021. 4 brand new 17" Khumo tires rated for 40k miles. I've got 33k miles on this set right now and I don't think they'll make 40k, unless I drive locally and no long trips. I'm a pretty good mechanic, so personally I believe in tire rotation. I've even noticed some weather checking in these tires. It doesn't help living in Michigan's winters. I don't think I'll buy this brand again.
