Traxxas Corvette Stingray 4tec 3.0 w/Spektrum Dx5 Rugged Radio System

Today I tested out my Traxxas 4Tec 3.0 Corvette Stingray for the first time after upgrading the radio system to a Spektrum DX5 Rugged. The tuning capabilities over the stock system is beyond compare, since the stock Traxxas radio had zero adjustability. I am also running a lot of Hot Racing aluminum upgrades as well.

Yup, you are correct. The stock tires can’t handle 3s and brushless power. I need some foam tires that actually fit this rig. I bought a couple thinking they would fit, but they didn’t. I like the way the stock wheels and tires look, but they are definitely not made for speed.
