Chinese dramas are terrible to watch. All of them. But there are exception, 1. Ever Night 2. Joy of life 3. Sword stride 4. Empress of china 5. Wuxia series - sowrdsman and some others I wont watch chinese modern drama even i gets tortured. They cant act. I think china is yet to have the farming of actors like kpop develop kids in multi disciplinary. There is one thing chinese drama yet to understand from kdrama. In kdrama , they use very experienced actors around new actor. new actor job be themself. They take care of rest. In chinese drama every one does script reading and over the top script. Chinese drama acting is same level as korean drama action scenes. Both are terrible, There comes occasional director like in blood of youth. Whole drama cgi was next level. At present chinese drama does well in animation. 1. Perfect world 2. Against the universe Dilraba cant act shiet. But i think some year of monkey people have luck. I watched joy of life all episode again to prepare for season 2. :)
If this is true, I am happy with the collaboration between Dilraba and Arthur Chen. I'm glad that Dilraba doesn't limit himself to playing with the same actors all the time and wants to try working with many actors.

Thanks for the update Marcus, Regeneration is really riveting. Fei Ke of course is a homonym for FAKE and it is a fascinating story about a disarmingly charming scam artist. Jing Boran is so charismatic as Fei Ke even if I knew he was scamming me, I'd probably be helpless to stop him! Such a fantastic short watch to bridge the gap to Joy of Life 2! As for Dilraba, all her dramas were super disappointing last year. I am not sure I even feel motivated to check out any collaboration between her and Arthur Chen.

Heroes with LYN seems like it’s also gearing up for premiere this month as they released another trailer and more character posters. Really hope it does this month as it’s 2 years overdue. ShenLi pillows are cute; the tub one is hysterical because it reminds me of the actual scene lol. Lots of busy actors on their sets; hope they’re eating well and taking care of themselves. All this promoting of Joy of Life has garnered intense anticipation and probably anxiety. lol But now they are saying Season 3? What, we have to wait for another 2-3 years? sigh...... I think what Blue Whisper did with their 2 Seasons was the best way. I wish all directors would do that. Glad to see Song Weilong filming again. One RUclips entertainment channel said that Song Weilong hasn't received any projects due to his company and him having difficulties with each other. Much like Jeremy Xu's issue. I've started "My Divine Emissary" and I really didn't think I would like the dumb goofy aspect, but I'm at Ep 12 and think that I will be finishing it. I will be starting "Tender Light" today. Hi Marcus, This is one of the best episodes I have seen recently; it was a lot of information I have not seen in a while. Chen Feiyu and Dilraba will not make a good show; I don't enjoy Arthur. Love Beyond the Grave has an excellent crew; I am excited to see the cast, and I hope they have someone else with Dilraba if she would be the female lead. I am so excited to get started on most of these dramas. I am very enthusiastic about Joy of Life 2. I am wondering to see if it would start with the cliffhanger; I also doubt that. Arthur Chen and diliraba pairing sounds like another doomed pairing ie her and Simon gong/ Leo wu. Zero chemistry Edit: chemistry is subjective. I didnt care for either pairing. The long ballad was still good overall
@@Nicole-gb4ze people can't expect them to act like Gao Weiguang did with her in their drama, first they're different genre, and second they've been working together on many set, they had a relationship if I remember that time, and also they've played similar set, so it's normal for people to feel like it's a bit different when she acts with others for the first time, and also With Leo Wu they did great in Long Ballad..., you can't expect more romance in that drama like it was in pillow book
I don't agree about zero chemistry with Leo and Simon. Visuals, comfort in acting, chemistry and understanding between leads in both Long Balad and Legend of Anle are great.Even more you can observe in bts scenes.With Dilraba, it is hard to predict, but with each her new project, usually a lot of doom predictions. Usually, doom predictions fail, and Dilraba gets even more successful with each new project.
Arthur Chen smashes every role he’s in, so I have no doubts whatever he’s in will definitely be good. Dilraba however…Since I watched a drama of hers where she was in ICU, fighting for her life, WITH FULL MAKEUP AND THE OBLIGATORY RED LIPSTICK, I lost faith in her. She seems to care more for looking good, rather than looking authentic. Also, she somehow never has chemistry with her leading men. Not sure why. Maybe because she always seems to have a sneer on her face, as if looking down on them. She’s okay with other characters, just not her leading men. Anle, love designer, flames daughter, just to name a few. Don’t get me wrong, she’s a good actress, just not a believable love interest.
I haven't read something so stupid in a long time. Her chemistry with Vengo Gao is the best ever and absolutely no one can match them. Even after all these years, they still have a strong fandom. Her chemistry with Zhang Bin Bin is so hot that even when they are not the main couple, they are the only ones who matter on screen. I won't mention her and Yang Yang, because YAMG is still the best romantic series in the entire Chinese drama land. She and Johnny Huang were so hot that sparks flew from the screen. From your comment it sounds like you're just bothered by her beauty. Well, most Chinese actresses need a surgeon's help to look good. Dilraba is naturally beautiful and that's probably the only thing that bothers you about her, and as for the makeup, I'm sorry but you're writing nonsense. She had the strongest makeup in Love Designer, but only because the cosmetics company was one of the sponsors of the series, her makeup is no different from that of other actresses.
I thought mostly the same. A lot of people, like it seems, a lot of directors, think two good-looking actors, fine. Not so. Dilraba and Zhang Bin Bin work. I have not seen her match with any other actor. With him, she not only has chemistry, she comes across as okay ish actress. Yes I know all about the awards she's won, but not convinced. More a homage to her looks. I like her but unable to complete any of her dramas without Bin Bin. The King's Woman, The Flames Daughter? and Pretty Lui Zhen. I like her but as a model. Same as Guli Nazha. They are pretty but just seem to pose through dramas looking good. There is something about Arthur that might bring out something in Dilraba. She is not one of the few actresses who has chemistry with a lot of actors. I see lots of dramas where the leads do not match, and it makes the drama flat.

@@syla2396 not sure what your question is, but artists having chemistry with each other is not about their looks. It's about whether their interaction light up the screen when next to each other. Eg. I am currently watching 'Blossom in Adversity', most of the artists paired as couples have chemistry with each other, even one of the maids and one of the security service's officer. In, 'Only For Love', Bai Lu has chemistry with Dylan Wang but had Miles Wei, who is also in the drama been the lead male, she would have had chemistry with him too. Every time they appeared together, everyone commented about how good they looked together. Similarly, the actress who played Dylan's niece had great chemistry with him and could have played Bai Lu's role. Xu Kai's best pairing is with Bai Lu. I am yet to see Xiao Zhan's and Gong Jun's best pairing apart from their respective famous dramas, Untamed/Word of honour. The leads in, 'Why women fall in love,' 'Unfamiliar Stranger' also have good chemistry. It's all about how they come across on screen. I watch dramas on Viki (Rakuten) which has live commentary and I regularly see comments about how artists are well or badly matched. This is not about their acting skills but just about screen presence with another artist. Some Artists just look great together and play off each other very well. Makes the difference between a flat drama and an exciting one, that keeps the audience hooked. Story etc also important of course. For sure Dilraba, like many other artists is good looking but if not casted with an actor with whom they share charisma, it's hard to watch not least because the character they are trying to potray is then not believable.

Dylan had chemistry with Esther Yu and Shen Yue but with Bai lu it was an onscreen failure. Bai lu had chemistry with Xu Kai, because they were a couple at that time (unfortunately, they later broke up, which resulted in Bai lu's long disappearance from the world of TV series). Sorry, but I really don't know what your point is that Dilraba has no chemistry with her co-stars. Maybe cultural differences (I'm from Europe) make me perceive the chemistry between actors differently. I love Xiao Zhan, but none of his on-screen partners with whom he has worked so far can match his charisma, so I'm still waiting for Xiao Zhan to get an actress who will really work with him and show her commitment in romantic scenes, because like this so far, all his on-screen partners have been very disappointing and passive.

This is one of the best episodes I have seen recently; it was a lot of information I have not seen in a while. Chen Feiyu and Dilraba will not make a good show; I don't enjoy Arthur. Love Beyond the Grave has an excellent crew; I am excited to see the cast, and I hope they have someone else with Dilraba if she would be the female lead. I am so excited to get started on most of these dramas. I am very enthusiastic about Joy of Life 2. I am wondering to see if it would start with the cliffhanger; I also doubt that. I am excited to see seven Tan in a costume drama.

I don't agree about zero chemistry with Leo and Simon. Visuals, comfort in acting, chemistry and understanding between leads in both Long Balad and Legend of Anle are great.Even more you can observe in bts scenes.With Dilraba, it is hard to predict, but with each her new project, usually a lot of doom predictions. Usually, doom predictions fail, and Dilraba gets even more successful with each new project.

Arthur Chen smashes every role he’s in, so I have no doubts whatever he’s in will definitely be good. Dilraba however…Since I watched a drama of hers where she was in ICU, fighting for her life, WITH FULL MAKEUP AND THE OBLIGATORY RED LIPSTICK, I lost faith in her. She seems to care more for looking good, rather than looking authentic. Also, she somehow never has chemistry with her leading men. Not sure why. Maybe because she always seems to have a sneer on her face, as if looking down on them. She’s okay with other characters, just not her leading men. Anle, love designer, flames daughter, just to name a few. Don’t get me wrong, she’s a good actress, just not a believable love interest.
I haven't read something so stupid in a long time. Her chemistry with Vengo Gao is the best ever and absolutely no one can match them. Even after all these years, they still have a strong fandom. Her chemistry with Zhang Bin Bin is so hot that even when they are not the main couple, they are the only ones who matter on screen. I won't mention her and Yang Yang, because YAMG is still the best romantic series in the entire Chinese drama land. She and Johnny Huang were so hot that sparks flew from the screen. From your comment it sounds like you're just bothered by her beauty. Well, most Chinese actresses need a surgeon's help to look good. Dilraba is naturally beautiful and that's probably the only thing that bothers you about her, and as for the makeup, I'm sorry but you're writing nonsense. She had the strongest makeup in Love Designer, but only because the cosmetics company was one of the sponsors of the series, her makeup is no different from that of other actresses.
I thought mostly the same. A lot of people, like it seems, a lot of directors, think two good-looking actors, fine. Not so. Dilraba and Zhang Bin Bin work. I have not seen her match with any other actor. With him, she not only has chemistry, she comes across as okay ish actress. Yes I know all about the awards she's won, but not convinced. More a homage to her looks. I like her but unable to complete any of her dramas without Bin Bin. The King's Woman, The Flames Daughter? and Pretty Lui Zhen. I like her but as a model. Same as Guli Nazha. They are pretty but just seem to pose through dramas looking good. There is something about Arthur that might bring out something in Dilraba. She is not one of the few actresses who has chemistry with a lot of actors. I see lots of dramas where the leads do not match, and it makes the drama flat.

Dilraba is beautiful and talented, if she had a career in the West, everyone would admire her. @@syla2396 not sure what your question is, but artists having chemistry with each other is not about their looks. It's about whether their interaction light up the screen when next to each other. Eg. I am currently watching 'Blossom in Adversity', most of the artists paired as couples have chemistry with each other, even one of the maids and one of the security service's officer. In, 'Only For Love', Bai Lu has chemistry with Dylan Wang but had Miles Wei, who is also in the drama been the lead male, she would have had chemistry with him too. Every time they appeared together, everyone commented about how good they looked together. Similarly, the actress who played Dylan's niece had great chemistry with him and could have played Bai Lu's role. Xu Kai's best pairing is with Bai Lu. I am yet to see Xiao Zhan's and Gong Jun's best pairing apart from their respective famous dramas, Untamed/Word of honour. The leads in, 'Why women fall in love,' 'Unfamiliar Stranger' also have good chemistry. It's all about how they come across on screen. I watch dramas on Viki (Rakuten) which has live commentary and I regularly see comments about how artists are well or badly matched. This is not about their acting skills but just about screen presence with another artist. Some Artists just look great together and play off each other very well. Makes the difference between a flat drama and an exciting one, that keeps the audience hooked. Story etc also important of course. For sure Dilraba, like many other artists is good looking but if not casted with an actor with whom they share charisma, it's hard to watch not least because the character they are trying to potray is then not believable.

Dylan had chemistry with Esther Yu and Shen Yue but with Bai lu it was an onscreen failure. Bai lu had chemistry with Xu Kai, because they were a couple at that time (unfortunately, they later broke up, which resulted in Bai lu's long disappearance from the world of TV series). Sorry, but I really don't know what your point is that Dilraba has no chemistry with her co-stars. Maybe cultural differences (I'm from Europe) make me perceive the chemistry between actors differently. I love Xiao Zhan, but none of his on-screen partners with whom he has worked so far can match his charisma, so I'm still waiting for Xiao Zhan to get an actress who will really work with him and show her commitment in romantic scenes, because like this so far, all his on-screen partners have been very disappointing and passive.
