This was brutal AF. This might be the most messed up game in the Yakuza franchise.
I actually love the english dub! even tho I prefer the japanese dub I still really like this one
I enjoy Soma's voice in both English and Japanese a lot, really glad RGG Studios started putting in work on English dubs and make it easier for the Western audience to get into.
Won't lie, Soma in the English dub gives me American Psycho vibes.
When like a dragon came out, English dub trailers turned me off. At the time they seemed rough for some reason. I ended up playing judgment before finishing up the Yakuza series and did english dub. I really enjoyed the voices and keep lost judgment the same. Finally got to like a dragon and dub isn't as bad as I thought/remembered. May keep Yakuza half Japanese for the old characters and judgment English

some cutscene songs are included in the soundtrack as they're more prominent, but this one plays once.
I have nothing against the English dub but why does soma sound like an aggressive sheldon cooper
Because the English is off key the Japanese language makes it more authentic the English is shit
The English voice acting is pathetic
if youre talking comparing this to Hiroshi Tamaki? I have a feeling that Soma is supposed to sound annoying in english, which is probably not how he is supposed to sound in japanese. Japanese VA always make their characters so cool! I should try the game in different languages next time
