To get it to drape properly use a small cup shape about two inches off the shelf do a fuse just to get the center to drape. Then you can do another fuse using the tall cone, it should come out perfectly draped. It’s just an extra firing
Amazing, beautiful and you make it look simple, but I know it is not. Very impressive. I could see this concept lending itself to a sea anemone, coral sculpture. Maybe a Nemo home. :-)
SO DANG CUTE!! I am always amazed at your creativity, that looks like such a fun project! Thank you so much for giving some festiveness to the otherwise not-so-festive things happening in the world. You are awesome! 👍😊
I have absolutely no idea about most of what you are doing, as it's the third video about this artistic expression I've watched, but you're incredible. Thanks for your channel!
As ever another inspiring video. I have had such fun using your XL wafers and murrini. Thank you for all of your ideas that have helped me find my own style.
WOW. just when i dont have any creative thought,, How on Earth do u come up with all these ideas? after your 1st fire and then u had extended the flowers beyond that.. How BEAUTIFUL!!.
This is adorable!! Love your work, I’ve yet to use my molds . I made the mistake of using bullseye primer on them and I now wish I had of sprayed them. Not sure if it’s going ruin my projects or not but I’ve been fusing for 2 years , purchased 4 Kiln’s and thousands of warm glass supplies but yet to slump🤦♀️It’s alotof work and expensive hobby. I have a great inventory of glass but I seem to hoarder it😀my husband said I was more of a glass collector. I do giveaway a lot of my projects. I have the big Olympic ,paragon like yours and 2 other medium size paragons . Taurus ring saw used 3 times . Thousands of sheets of glass Coe 90, Coe 96 maybe I’m just not into it or I’m not satisfied with my work , I do have many other hobbies, crocheting, painting, woodworking and scrollsaw designs was my biggest before I started in stained glass for 4 yrs then I moved up to fusing and loved every thing about fusing so I had to have it all and now I’m like bored again!!! Have this ever happened to you ?
Lisa I'm bit like you I think. I want perfection and never seem to get it quite right, but Ive only had my kiln for a couple of months and still learning. I wish I had a taurus saw - let me know if you want to sell it ever - I cant seem to get the shapes I need but I guess I just need to practice more. keep trying I'm sure that what you're doing is beautiful.
This is amazing! You said you used a cocktail shaker to slump it? Or did you mean a drape mold? What is the cocktail mold made out of that it can stand the heat of the kiln?

Loved this, can you confirm the drape schedule times tho, they seem to be different for Celsius and Fahrenheit
Rosie Mitchell so sorry only just seen this, it should be a 6 hour hold on the drape
bellissimo
Just curious, Why wouldn’t it work by doing the design all together at one fuse and then drape?
So nifty,
how do i go to your store?
to buy the murrine?
