How to grow hair faster
1. Trim when neccesary every 2-3 months
2. Brush hair gently when its tangling
3. Use the right hair products
4. Do not shower with hot water
5. Dont blow dry every day
6. Use silk pillow case
7. Use hair supplements use bioton

The gently tapping towel dry is really underrated tip.
As someone who have long hair (1 year 7 months) i truely believe each other of his advice. I've cut my hair recently to a buzzcut. It was the best feeling ever after carrying my thick long hair for almost two years.
Same for me, I was so relieved when cut my curly and also very thick hair for the first time after 1½ years of not visiting any barber.
Oh yeahh i can relate u, I had a man bun,but recently i cut my hair to buzzcut,,ohh mannn i fell so fresh and comfortable
I'm currently 2.5 years down the road with my long hair and after 2 weeks I've decided to cut them to normal short boy length.

In the process of growing my hair out, I never needed any of those products. I shampooed my hair once a week(at max twice)after leaving heavy oil on hair overnight and I rarely conditioned it. I never felt like my hair needed any product.

Literally yesterday I was thinking I want to grow my hair longer and lo, Alex makes a video about it. Fantastic as always. Wish it was easier to find hair products directly targeted to African hair, they are far and few in between
I feel you. But there are plenty of African youtubers with extemely curly hair who talk about hair care. Coconut oil works wonders for me. Use it as leave in conditioner at night. Silk pillowcae is very important for curly hair. Avoid shampoos that contain SLS, and try keratin shampoo.

as someone growing their hair out for over a year and looking for something to help me out, this is a great birthday gift :)
After 2.5 years of growing my hair. Dying it and making it beautiful, I decided to cut it yesterday and it feels amazing!! I learnt that long hair is a lot of work and I hardly had time. So I keep it on a man bun. I could say now that I did it and I am done with it!! Haha.

If you have really long hair I recommend using a bristle brush lean forward and brush gently it's annoying but worth it that will avoid a lot of breakage use a spray detangler before.
