Techo is the Japanese for all of these types of notebook. So they are all techo, but one is the "original," "cousin," and "weeks" techo.
I realized I've been using them interchangeably, thanks for letting me know :)
I didn’t know they were discontinuing the Tomoe River paper😢.
They have a new TRP for 2024. They give a sample when you purchase a Hobonichi. It feels very similar and I didn’t notice a difference with my fountain pens.
Yeah I know :( but thankfully they shared a sample of a paper they'll be using next year that feels really similar

Hi Suzanne! If you're interested in getting alot of pieces, it might be worthwhile to get it from Hobonichi's main site (www.1101.com/store/techo/en/) if you're interested in getting one planner or item, I would recommend a reseller so that you can avoid large shipping and custom fees, like jetpens.com :)
What are you calling a Techo? Aren't they all Techos? Techo just means journal...Techo Weeke, Techo Cousin, etc. Are you referring to the Techo Original . Cousin can't look like a Techo because it IS a Techo.
you're so right! I was a little nervous with my first video.. and might have used words interchangeably. I realize they're all techos but I've definitely developed the habit of calling the A6 techo original as just "techo". sorry for the confusion
