- I spent a day exploring the City of Medicine Hat and I was quite delighted. Here is a brief rundown of what all you can see and do in Medicine Hat in 12 hours.
This video was made in partnership with Tourism Medicine, Stay in Medicine Hat, Travel Alberta and the Canadian Badlands.
I think its very nice that people can actually find cool things in a town that most people never heard of. Pretty cool, thx.
I've been all over the world and almost everyone I've met heard of Medicine Hat. Of course, we live in a world where something like 40% of American's can't locate their own country on map, so who knows.
Great video! My wife and I have never been. Debating what we should do for a small family vacation. This would make a wicked stop. Thank you for making this video. It was the first one that showed up when I searched things to do in medicine hat Alberta.
J.R. Bjornson my pleasure! I'm glad it was helpful. There are some really cool things to do in the city. I can't wait to go back 😀
Actually I live there and I find it quite boring and bland. It’s very small, it only has the Teepee as a visitor attraction, and I can hardly find anything good to do. I wouldn’t recommend it ever. If you do plan on going again go in early August that’s when the stampede is on. It’s like a fair except it has animals and I think a rodeo? Well great food I was entertained for hours would recommend it
@@lianarice I'm from Regina and I honestly think ur city is so nice.
@@TheChuckfuc yeah it has a couple murals that look nice but the rest is full of trash and boring shit
its so weird that I've been to most of those places and seeing them on yt.
what's your opinion of the city, mate? do you recommend it for international students?
Can’t wait to live there next year so excited. 😀
So how is it there?
What a fantastic video! I am very proud of our wonderful city and to me it appears that you got to many of our must-do recommendations. Thanks for making this video and checking out our awesome city :D
It was my pleasure! I had such a blast exploring and visiting!
I struggle to find things to do all around town. There aren’t very many tourist attractions or museums rather than a tall janky Tee pee that gets boring after five minutes. There aren’t many restaurants or cafes that I’d go here for and I’ve been wanting to move out of this awful town for my entire life.
Very cool to know about the free bikes!! Love your video!! We are planning a trip to Medicine Hat and most of Canada for next summer with our RV. Do you know if there is RV parking at the Visitor Center? Excited to follow your adventures!! We also post videos of our travels on our channel!! Melissa from RV Rolling with MJ
I moved here a year and half ago and I love what she started with but there needs to be acknowledgement of the golf courses and just walking in the fabulous parks here which are everywhere and you can do Ingress missions and play Ingress or Pokemon here.
Thanks for the comment Valerie! There are so many great things to see and do in the city - these were just a tiny snapshot of what to check out in a day. I wish I had had more than just a couple days exploring the area! What a great city you're fortunate to call home :)
Is it the medicine hat of max and marianna of "allied" the movie?
HOW COULD YOU MISS THE WORLDS LARGEST TEEPEE
I didn't miss it - I went to it several times. Even waited at night to try get a northern lights photo of it. :)
I live five minutes away from it by George Davison
@Indie Media Eastcoast no you dumbass
I live there and it’s not very entertaining. However what’s beyond there will lead to something you won’t forget
My home town!
Very good vdio 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I’m from Medicine Hat this is cool
Me to I know this comment is kind of late
my friend moved there on the second last day of school
Is there jobs for international students in medicine Hat?
Hope so
Meu filho e nora e netinho tão indo prai
Iconic places she missed: The family leisure centre, Worlds largest teepee, Medicine hat Brewing co., Dunnore dugout, Geocaching in police point park, The canalta centre, and more.
Next time I'll have to do a video on if I had 48 hours!! :D
@@Thelostgirlsguide Nice! Btw, I think its weird that my not very known town can be found on youtube🤣
@@scrimger1230 I had such a great time visiting and can't wait to come back. I did stop at the TeePee but didnt put it in the video ☺
I don’t really think Dunmore is too special but definitely check out the teepee and Brewing co
The Lost Girl's Guide to Finding the World you should have came here in August when the Stampede was here. That’s like the only thing I look forward to here
I live hear
Wow, nice pair of sunglasses
If you come to medicine hat stop by Perkins it awesome
Ya i know isn't it beatiful
Not really. There’s a lot of garbage flying everywhere and the only tourist attraction people know about is a tall janky teepee
@@lianarice Wow, look at you go with your crap attitude again. If you don't like the garbage all over the place (which I've never seen, once) pick it up. And if you don't like it in the Hat, go someplace else where it's just magical and beautiful and there is no garbage. I'm sure your life will improve. Somehow.
I hate medicine hat right now because there's to much snow
I hate Medicine Hat cause there’s too much heat 🥵
@@lianarice Too hot to go out in the summer and too cold in the winter.Yuck
Who's here after watching the ALLIED movie?😂
UwU I live here and I recognize all of these places!
She lowkey a baddie doe
Tinos😂
Oh girl... Love at first sight. I really wish to meet u personally. I wanna marry you. Very beautiful in my eyes
Drunk driver!
I tell you what to do when you're in Medicine Hat for a day, leave, this place is a hell hole.
Did you encounter any people of color out there? Applying to some jobs but looks like they lack diversity.
I would say the majority is Caucasian but here's an article that can offer more insight into diversity in the city
medicinehatnews.com/news/local-news/2017/08/04/diversity-continues-to-grow-across-canada/
It is actually quite diverse, i am currently living here and its quite nice
What an odd comment.
Odd comment but I’ve lived here for years and honestly there’s lots, in most establishments white people are the minority’s now a days
@@riioas5543 Why is it an odd comment? Are you a visible minority? If you are, you wouldn't have commented with such ignorance! Being black, this always has to be asked when considering moving to certain parts of Canada; especially coming from Toronto.
