Nice, Mill Creek is my favorite trail up on Horsetooth, the GoPro effect is definitely real there, Mill Creek has some seriously steep sections. I live in Denver and don't get up that way too often since we have a ton of great trails down here.

Yeah those trails were a rippin’ good time! Where would you recommend going around Denver?

@@robonbikes In the metro area itself, Apex and White Ranch are both fun and rowdy tech. If you're willing to go a bit west I would go to Idaho Springs and ride Drop Shaft at Virginia Canyon park, that's an amazingly good trail. Floyd Hill and Maryland Mountain also have amazing trails.

@mrvwbug4423 cool thanks! Looked up that Drop Shaft, looks super well-built!

Sick ride, elevation and COVID weren't enough to stop you! Heard from a few riders now that Duluth helps prepare for the gnarly trails out west, those trails looked chunky and you can't beat those views!

Who knows when I’ll get back, had to get a ride in, COVID be damned! If you’re ever in the area it’s worth a ride for sure, super fun descending and yeah great views. Many more trails in the area too!

Ooof you were so close to where I learned to mountain bike up at Curt Gowdy State Park in Wyoming! Fort Collins has a lot of cool riding! Just down the road (or trail) from there is devil's backbone which is also a blast! Glad you had a good time on the Front Range it is a really cool area!

My brother and I biked Curt Gowdy about 6 years ago, great place, and what a place to learn to mountain bike! I remember Cliffhanger being really cool, and Canyons was a bear!!

@@robonbikes if you ever get back there you need to ride the other side where stone temple, gold watch, gold rush, el alto, and skin and bones is!

@Tkolbo_ yeah we rode that side too! Mostly blue trails, some black. We camped there for a couple nights. South Causeway Campground. First big MTB trip I ever went on 🤘 Would love to get back there!

@@robonbikes so rad! If you get back and go up the hill to happy Jack they just completed a project where you can ride from the trails at the summit all the way down to Laramie on single track like 12 miles of singletrack in one direction mostly downhill! Ofcourse then you have to climb 2k+ feet back up haha!

@Tkolbo_ That’s awesome (not the climbing bit)!

Awesome riding, Rob! I would say the Duluth trails really help you prepare for riding out west. Easy peasy…right? 😎🤙

At least the downhills! 😂 Not sure if it was the Covid, the elevation, or the steep grade of the climbs (probably a combination), but there was a lot of walking upwards!

@@robonbikes I think you’re right. It was a combination of everything.
