Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole. These boys are so talented. There is nothing these boys do that isn't good.❤️❤️❤️❤️
I went to a concert where I was in the second row right under the beatboxer Adam when they did this song. He does not have a harmonica, it's just him and the microphone and it was still hard to believe even though I was seeing him do it. The Home Fries call it Adam's "Nomonica" because he doesn't have one.
New subscriber because of this reaction! This group is endlessly entertaining and sing all genres. Their originals are beautiful, their covers are upgrades, and their collaborations are magical. Enjoy exploring their catalog. Yes, watch Tim and Peter's cover of Misty Mountains and then check out their original sea shanty Skull and Bones.
Thank's!!
To hear Tim sing Misty Mountains Pull up, Peter Hollens and Tim Foust, Doing Mistry Mountains.
Peter Hollens and Tim Foust (Home Free's bass singer) have an absolutely outstanding version of "Misty Mountains" that you must react to since you like it so much. I know it will blow you away.
I strongly agree this suggestion !
MP must react to that.
Yes, have to react to that asap! calls out one of tim's best songs!
Hard to beleive, but they sing it live ...try one of their live video of this one , it's soooo good.
they are amazingly talented. If you wish to hear Tim do Misty Mountains he did a collab with Peter Hollens about 2 1/2 years ago singing that one. I would suggest Skull & Bones, an original written by Chance - a magical new SEA Shanty
Thank's
Everyone becomes addicted to Home Free once they set foot in the rabbit hole. You are already a Home Fry in no time and yes Adam Rupp is the best but they all do some beatboxing. I love watching a newbie reacting to the guys. Adam calls it the nomonica and he has taught Austin ( The First one to sing) how to do the nomonica.
🤍
Best group out there. Beat boxer is world class as are all the vocals
Left to right
Rob - Chance - Austin - Adam - Tim
And I second everyone suggesting Tim singing “Misty Mountains” with Peter Hollens.
🐉🌬️
Thank's
Their cover of dire straits “brothers in arms” is a masterpiece. The high harmonies and bass lead is delicious
Wow, indeed. I'm just going to assume that every other Home Fry out there has already steered you to the Tim Foust / Peter Hollens version of Misty Mountains. Epic. So, I will steer you to something that highlights Adam Rupp (rhymes with cup) - Listen to the Music. OR Ain't Goin Down til the Sun Comes Up - which is on their Facebook, not You Tube. Enjoy!
Yeah, you're right they did😉
That is Tim Foust, the bass with a 5 + octave range. And yes, they can all beatbox to some degree as the video " 9 to 5 Beatboxing Breakdown will show you. I agree with so many of the others. You'll love the video " Adam Rupp's Drum Solo ", and " Misty Mountains " Peter Holland featuring Tim Foust. Peter and Tim, as well as Home Free and Peter have several collaborations with each other. Thanks for the Home Free reactions
I am sure you have already been told by a number of people ... This is Tim Foust and he sings "Misty mountains" with Peter Hollens! 🙂 Also... You should react to Adam Rupp's beat box solo from 2015. Millions of views, it shows you the pure talent he has. There are a number of his beat box solos out there but I think this particular one shows him off best.
Thank's Dana!!
Tim Foust
@@LynnRamsay Thank you 🙂
@@dananddiana2 your welcome
Perfect❤ great the sound.love the reaction❤
This is the one that hooked me! 🔥🤠🔥
One of their best known, highly demanded songs. The singing, harmonies & beatboxing are incomparable. The original song was published in 1913 and later covered by Bob Dylan, Joan Baez and a host of others. In recent videos, Austin does "no-monica" in harmony with Adam Rupp. Tim Foust (bass) has a duet of Misty Mountains (on Peter Hollens channel).
This song blew me away when I first heard it & I was completely hooked. These guys are all so talented. They lean towards country but they can do any genre. They all can take the lead depending on whos voice is best for the song. They are known for their tight harmonies. Tim Foust is one of the best bass singers out there (5 octave range) & their beatboxer vocal percussionist Adam Rupp can simulate any sound such as drums, harmonica etc.
Love adams “no monica”. At concerts he sounds just as good with it
Also, Austin has learned the "no monica" as well. He and Adam use it at their concerts when they show you how they use a looper and perform this song. It is amazing.
❤🤠#HomeFree. Great reaction. Peter Hollens and Tim do singn Misty Mountains and is amazing 😍.🏠🍟
Yeah, i already react to it😉👌
Yep…THAT!!!
Chase on the left back row does the "jaw harp" that sounds like a diggerridoo at the opening and ending. You can see him on the porch at the end.
Loving your #HomeFree reactions!! Please keep them coming as they never disappoint.
Some favourite originals, and there are sooo many more to choose from:
Suggest these 3 in this order as there’s a small thread 🧵 from one video to the next:
Catch Me If You Can
Dive Bar Saints
Leave This Town
Next up, the nicest break-up song you’ll ever hear, Love Me Like That - written by Austin after a 5-year relationship ended
Then Austin’s Stargazer Trilogy:
Chapter 1: Give Me a Sign - a prayer to find new love
Chapter 2: Stargazer Lilies - a dream about true love
Chapter 3: Mr. - new love found
Then, Playing With Fire - what happens with your true love ❤️🔥
And last but not least for today’s list, Tim’s take on finding love with, Might As Well Be Me - please pause to read their bios and written answers; it will add to the hilarity!! 😂
Again, there’s so many more but these will give you a good idea of more of what they’re capable of and we Home Fries will be here for it!
Thank's for all the info 👌
Subbing for more Home Free. Man Of Constant Sorrow is often the song new reactors react to first. Home Free, though they style themselves as "country" singers, they can, and do sing a very wide variety of genres. Do yourself a favor and learn each member's name and vocal role, then react to Mayday. I'm enjoying your reactions.
Agree, but please WAIT on Mayday until you’re 10-15+ songs into their catalogue. You will thank us later!
In my case was Everything Will Be Okay!!
Thank's!!
Thank's for the head's up!!
Just stumbled on your page with this video! I can tell you were totally blown away! I have subscribed and looking forward to you reacting to Misty Mountains with Peter Hollens and Tim Foust! You will love it! Your wish is granted (a few years ago). So if you want to know who’s who, in the intro when they’re lined up from left to right: Rob Lundquist - 2nd tenor, Adam Chance - Baritone/Bass (he did the mouth harp part), Austin Brown - high tenor, you know Adam Rupp (rhymes with “up”), last but not last, Tim Foust - super low bass who has a 5+ octave range.
Thank's Beth!!
Loving your home free reactions.
When you’re ready for your next acapella/vocal group might I suggest Voiceplay. Their bass is Geoff Castellucci who actually has a solo channel where he has covered “misty mountains cold” in deep deep voice with a couple of “dwarfy” Geoff clones 😂
Thank's!!
And thanks for the suggestion 😉
Welcome to the best vocal band in the world! I saw them live 5 nights ago and they are just as amazing live!
You're a lucky One, Laura!!👌
Just saw them in concert 4/10 in Newark, Ohio. Awesome concert. Adam Rupp is so talented.
You're a lucky One 😉
I saw them live from the front row on April 6 and its even better live. ❤😊
Lucky One 😉
Tim Faust actually sings Misty Mountain …look it up
Oh yes we are! The absolute best beatboxer there is! All can do beatboxing to some degree, all are equally talented. Their covered are phenomenal, their originals are even better. Welcome to that rabbit hole l own as HomeFree! Homefries are the most loyal fans out there too!
These guys are so incredibly talented. I have been following them since 2013 and will continue always. Tim Foust the bass is incredible as they all are. The Beat Boxer Adam Rupp is a championship Beat Boxer. Yes, the harmonica he does is without a harmonic. Us fans call it a no monica. Bu the way, us Home Free fans are called Home Fries. Love your reaction! ♥
Thank's Anita!!
These guys are so much fun to follow. So talented!!
This video starts with Adam chance twin jaws hurt sound! Adam Rupp is making the “NOmonica” sound! In the live on stage performance sometimes Austin joins Adam Rupp Bruh no Monica duet!!
The mouth harp sound at the beginning and end is Adam Chance Nomonica and drums is Adam Rupp
New subscriber. It's a delight to watch someone discover this masterpiece. Look forward to your reactions to Tim Foust singing Misty Mountains and the Adam Rupp Drum Solo. Given what you've been attracted to in #homefree, I hope you'll do these two soon. Also their Folsom Prison Blues (continues the vibe of Man of Constant Sorrow).
Thank's!!!
I will very soon!!
Loved your reaction. This was the first song of theirs I heard 3 years ago and have been a huge fan since. Looking forward to more reactions.
Thank's 🤍
Great reaction, MP. Hope you can do more Home Free reactions, you're a natural! Thank you!
Thank's 🤍
You sang Misty Mountains very well, nice job. Yes, Tim and Peters version of that song is stunning. Do it!
Thank's 😅
Check out Adam Rupps drum solo.
You have a long way to go with these guy's brother. They are the best acapella group outer. And they are the most diverse acapella group out there. Don't get me wrong. I love voice, play and pentatonics. Just keep watching home free.
They are unbelievably talented, funny, skilled, & down to earth guys.
BTW: its Rupp, like "cup"....not Roop. 😉🥰🥰
Thank's 😅😅
Super talented men. Not only can Adam Rupp (sounds like up) do the harmonica but Austin (lead singer here) can do the harmonica too. They do it during their concerts. Chance, back left, was doing the “mouth harp” sound (sounds like a didgeridoo). Adam is crazy talented. Tim, the bass, has a 5 octave range so he can sing super low but also high too. Enjoy the ride!😄🤩
Thank's 👍
And Rob can sing opera
Sensory overload!!!! Visual, audio, emotional!!
Great reaction.
I notice you've reacted to a few versions of 'Oh Holy Night' . Youve got to check out Home Free's version, its amazing !!
Yeah i did.
I bet Home Free have an epic version as well 😉
T8m Foust is the bass. He does a cover of Misty Mountains with Peter Hollens.
Yeah, will be out soon 😉
This is so good Adam has good voice too.
Home Free is
Austin Brown tenor 1
Rob Lundquist tenor 2
Adam Chance Baritone
Tim Foust Bass
Adam Rupp Beatboxer
Adam Chance is Baritone/ Bass
@@LynnRamsay and what Tim Foust is a Bass/ Tenor
@@scottdarden3091 Tim is pretty much every range possible 😂
You want to hear Tim sing Misty Mountains? This is the link:
ruclips.net/video/yb2HR47npEU/видео.htmlsi=4pOERbn1AQbzSTi5
Names:
The man who, among other things, makes that mouth-harp sound that stands alone at the beginning and end of the video is Adam Chance who goes just by "Chance"
The first tenor is Austin Brown who recently announced that he will leave Home free before the Christmas Tour this year.
The second tenor is Rob Lundquist
The bariton / deep bass is Tim Foust - who, as someone else already commented, has a five-octave range - and who is featured in the above given link by Peter Hollens.
Adam Rupp, who in the band goes just by "Adam" you already know. He's the beat boxer. There are two or three videos of Adam's Solo in Home Free concerts - check them out!
Thank's for all the info 👌
#HOMEFREE PETER HOLLENS AND TIM (HOME FREE'S BASS) HAVE DONE MISTY MOUNTAINS, YOU CAN FIND IT ON PETER HOLLEN'S CHANNEL; IT'S AWESOME!
5:56 If you can find it, try KZ Tanindigan's cover of Close To You , recorded by Chasterjohn.
That first sound you hear is Adam Chance imitating a mouth harp 😊
You need to watch Adam Rupp's drum solo 2015 I think is the best one. They will really blow you away.
Hi, Linda!!
Thank's for the suggestion, i just did☺️
Soon will be out😉
You need to hear Tim Faust's single album. He has a 5 octave voice. My Maria with only Austen and Will You Still Love Me/ Stay. Which is a solo.
Thank's for the suggestion 🤍
Tim Foust
They can all beatbox just not to the extent of Adam Rupp ❤❤ nice reaction 😊😊
Thank you 😉

Great review. Thanks. And you are so in luck. Tim Foust does Misty Mountain with Peter Holens. You won’t be disappointed! 🎶💕
Thank's 🤍
Tim😊
Adam Rupp is the best beatboxer by a longshot. However, all of them can do some beatboxing.
Misty Mountain song is available
👍
New sub for more Home Free!!
😉
That's called a "Nomonica", for NO harmonica there at all.
Now you've got to check out PTX🔥🔥🔥🤯🤯🤯
Ptx??
Pentatonix. Arguably the best Acapella group. They have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame 🔥
Ok, know i understand!
Soon a new video will be released featuring Pentatonix as well.
I always recommend "Folsom Prison Blues" as a follow to this.
Same guys a few years later.
And "Unchained Melody" kind of completes the imaginary storyline.
I saw their concert last weekend. They mash up this song and "Folsom Prison Blues". It shows off all their voices, and they demonstrate how they use looping to cover all the tracks this song needs.
And while I prefer their recording of "Listen to the Music", performed live, they include a five voice, vocal percussion breakdown, where they are all making 'strange noises'.
And in concert “Sorrow / Folsom” there are TWO harmonicas, because Austin (lead singer here) joins Adam .
Fans call them no-monicas.
Oops. Sorry. Out there.
Thanks for reacting to this unique acapella band!
You're welcome 😉
🔥🤠🔥
You have to see Adam Rupp solo. A sure that you would paus a LOT, Adam has won the world champ, ship 2 times.
I just did 😉
Will be out soon!!
@@MP_Reacts WOW You reacted fast 👏🏽👏🏽and it was incredible what Adam did 💞💞
OK--go to Peter Hollens…featuring Tim Foust…”MISTY MOUNTAIN”……You Will Love it ♥️👍♥️‼️…. Guaranteed ♥️🔥♥️
👍👍👌

Tim
these appear human, they are not!!!
