Defqon.1 is definitely the best thing that I've done in my life. You really feel at home, amazig music and stages (this is the red stage, mainstage). If you are able to afford the tickets, please do it. This year will be the 20th anniversary, which means = even more madness! Awesome reaction !
Don't let your past define the choices we make in the present, for these are the moments, that define our future. Now, take a look around you, brothers and sisters in arms, look how far we've come, own the moment, embrace your individuality. Head high, head first, don't be afraid to dig deeper, don't be afraid of what you find, learn to love the darkness. So we can see ourselves in the light, so when you question the times, always remember, we will rise again. - Hard driver, rise again, defqon1 closing theme.

Awesome reactions from you guys as usual! And as a Defqon.1 veteran, I highly recommend that you take an opportunity and visit this festival. So I thought that I could give some general information about the festival. - The festival is usually the last weekend in June, in The Netherlands (Europe) - It is since last year a 4 day event, from Thursday to Sunday. - The festival have a couple of highlighting events over the weekend. "The Gathering" Thursday opening acts, "The Spotlight" Friday closing that focus on new stuff from one DJ (Pyro n Light), "The Power Hour" one hour of complete madness and crowd interaction, "The Endshow" Saturday closing show as you just now have watched, "The Closing Ritual" Sunday festival closing show (with more Pyro n Lights). - They have 12 different stages on the festival area + 3 smaller stages around the camping sites. - Over 250 DJ sets over the stages and days. - There are 6 camp sites, one of them last year was called "The Highlands" (the camp area for big friend groups that travel together), one other was "The Sanctuary" (the campsite with more premium options of camping) - The ticket prices starts around 280-290 EUR / person for a regular weekend ticket and all the way up to over 1000-1200 EUR / person for the most premium choices of camping. - If I'm not remembering wrong, they announced that they had abit over 250 000 unique ticket visitors. One of the reasons is that they sell both Weekend tickets and Daytickets. But the visitor numbers are around +120 000 visitors per day.
I have a rule when I’m there the main shows like the endshow, spotlight, closing, power hour I take those moments for myself and let q-dance do the video so I can just embrace it and keep those moments and feel them without having a phone in my hand makes it so much more spectacular ❤
@@ChristopheJacobson And that's how its supposed to be. The closing ritual moment of holding hands was something. I would have never thought I'd be doing that with my brother and one of my best friends. Amazing feeling. can't wait for next year.
Love these reactions! 2 cents of someone who was there for a couple of times: 1st: I feel your idea with the screens, so everyone can see the on stage performances, but they would definitly kill the vibe. All these performances on stage(as the ones during Power Hour) are mainly for the video productions I guess. 2nd: You really have to check out the Closing Ritual of 2023. The track „Lost Without You“ is one of the best productions of the last couple of years! Thank you for the video!
Yes screens would deffinatlly kill the vibe but my giess the on stage perfomances are to make up for the fact that front rows maybe get too see1/5 of the endshow stage/pyro wise so they have something look at onstage in 2019 i was front row for few hours at start of the staurday at the red and well you can't really see much else than what is going on on stage
I started going to raves in the late 80s with the acid house era going into the breakbeat era then my favourite the happy hardcore era and then jungle/DNB gabba, I've done it all. Back then it was all about the music and the show was sort of an after thought. But now these shows are incredible. I'm in my mid 50s now and disabled so haven't been to a rave for ages. Fuck, I miss it. But seeing the younger generation with the passion I had and still have just warms my heart. Going to nights like these will stay with you your whole life. Enjoy!!!! 😊
Ticket price for the whole Weekend (Camping Included) is about 450€with the Premium ticket from which you see the Whole stage(Festival takes 4Days) its insane and kind of addicting to go there lol
That's the best way to put it. You know it's home when you're setting up a savings parameter on your banking app to set aside a budget for next year as you're on the train back to Utrecht.
God the 2017 legends set nothing in the world would beat that experience. Standing there for 3 hours in near perfect weather having the best classics thrown at you.
Hey you two, another great reaction to our holy ground we call home. You'll encounter metal fans on the festival grounds too. To fill some of your thoughts and questions, some already answererd in recent comments. Regarding Harrys thoughts about the production and beeing in the crowd. Yea, we rewatch the whole thing multiple times on youtube. Beeing there with friends, family and the whole harder styles family is just aweseome. Even with a good spot one will miss enough stuff to justify watching the video. Maybe you two should react to one of the after movies or 30min sets. The endshow as well as the closing ceremony is about celebrating us and let loose all the emotions. As the stages open at 11am and close down at 11pm we partied 10 1/2 hours to banging bass and zig zags. So its more about the emotional side, sometimes lacking that deep bass ;) But hey, as the festival grow so large meanwhile the endshow or closing is happen, in the black and blue they have some DJs finishing the day with hard beats. Something for everyone :) So in terms of size and prices. A regular four day weekend ticket with camping in 2024 (bring your tent) costs ~300 USD. Day tickets (friday, saturday, sunday) go for ~140 USD. VIP tickets or any other special adds up to it. The thurday is exclusive to the campers and each other day the festival ground is visitited by ~80-90k people. The mainstage area can hold ~65k, more will result is crowd protection measures. As the ticket is on the lower price side ... the drinks are more expensive. Last year (2023) one token was about ~3,85 USD given that 1 EUR is 1 USD. A small beer 0,2l costs 1 token. A soda is about 1,5 token. water is 2 tokens although refillable at tap water stations. Not to mention merchandise and more. They earn enough money each year :D As mentioned, the festival take place for four days. Thursday is the gathering, exclusive to the campers, happening 8pm to 1am to welcome us Weekend Warriors home. For this 3 stages are open. Black (Hardcore), Blue (Hardstyle), Magenta (Rawstyle). The other stages are closed. Friday the first day after the gathering the madness begins. All of the 14 stages are open from 11am to 11pm friday to sunday. Some close down at 10pm, but still long enough. Hence the party continues on the campground all weekend long. Saturday and Sunday are filled with special events like the Power Hour, Sunday Funday - dress up with whatever wild creation you come up with, Warrior Workout, Terror Sitdown and many more we had in the past. 4 month left until Defqon.1 - 20 years 🥰🥳 greetings from Germany ❤
20:21 Tickets this year started at 280€ for the weekend ticket. Food and drinks is one of the places they get the most back. Last year my weekend cost me 600€ at the festival. They also have "super premium accomodations" that are upwards of 1500€ per person and that's without a ticket.
23:21 did you notice that the fireworks are 360 around the crowd. Defqon.1 really is amazing, I can’t wait to go this year for the first time after watching it on RUclips since 2012🔥
I get what you´re saying about the bass in some of the songs. But it´s not really a hardstyle or Defqon bass problem whether there is much or no low frequencies in there. The kick sound is basically a hardstyle artists signature. So it's more artist dependent, than genre specific, if there is much bass in the song or not.
oh no worries it definitely hits you in the chest - and more - if you are there. 've been there 4 times already and it's a breathtaking experience. sidenote: if you have trouble doing your business.. you don't need to push if you go to the restroom :'D (even at the camping grounds)
Hey you two. I was there and I have to say they are 2 different experiences. to experience this show with more than 100,000 others gives an indescribable energy. But the whole festival has it. For me it's the best festival in the world. But I agree with you, seeing the edits at the end is just awesome and I still get goosebumps when I see them. The editing of all Q-Dance productions and aftermovies is simply NEXT LEVEL.
Defqon.1 is a 4 day event. And each day ends with it´s own fireworks show. The Saterday endshow, and the Sunday closing ritual being the biggest and best known when it comes to show and pyro. But The Tribute on Thursday, and The Spotlight on Friday are special too of course, in their own way, but relatively new and there for less known.
So the "Bass" issue you mentioned is because there are different artists who make music and these artists all make different types of kicks. There are kicks from the more Euphoric side where tracks focus on a more uplifting melodic side. The kicks there are really not that bass heavy. But then there's also more of the Raw side of this music where there is a focus of more bass heavy kicks rather than the melody.
Nah, I'd say a lot of the low end is so low that you need to be there or actually have a proper sized subwoofer to feel it with some kicks. My car's got a single 12 inch and it's shaking inside.
Lovely reaction and your right with the basskick I dont like that peepkick but im 52 and old skool maybe thats it ! Wokeness even hits our harder styles
This was my first time going to Defqon.1 and i enjoyed it so much that im going again this year! This year is the 20 year anniversary so im excited to see what they have planned! I gotta say, it's even cooler to be there in person than to see the endshow as a video, even though the video gives me goosebumps everytime as well!
It's not just the sound, it's the whole show. And it's ok to cry - not because of sadness but because it's beautiful. And yeah, there's a *lot* of pyro involved. Maybe a bit too many but it sure contributes to that "divine" feeling.
A regular weekend ticket for defqon.1 costs 290 euro for 4 days including camping (bring your own tent). You can make it more expencive however if you choose other stay options like hotel or chalet, friends camp etc. The event draws about 250 thousand visitors over 4 days.
Awesome video, also the difference between watching the video and be there When you watch the video, you see everything that you don't when you're on the ground BUT when you're on place, you are in the middle of it, you feel everything ! You don't even know where to look because everything explode 360° every sens are multiplied x1 000 000 Disclaimer : this is the moment where you see the most people passing out hahaha
@@ycrep1993the heat on Sunday was literally unbearable. I remember the lines at the toilets for water. It was almost like there were more people filling their bottles, then people having a good party 😅
I just got here after 2024 defqon, today/tonight. Incase you're not aware they will be streaming main stage free tomorrow 12.00-23.00 and sunday 18.00-23.00. Now to watch the reaction..
I can proudly say that I was there, for the first time in my life. I have always loved the endshow videos and watched them since 2010, but it never come close to how it actually feels being there, it was a truly life changing experience. The crowd is nothing you ever have experienced before so full of energy, so kind and helpful, truly one big family. I truly envy those who live in Netherlands and are able to visit this festival on a yearly basis without having to spend alot of money on it. My journey costed in total with everything nearly 1800 EUR, but it was worth every penny. I rather go on Defqon 1 then on a "normal" vacation. Until next time!
The first edition you went to is the best. The memories you make during that weekend are unforgettable. Glad for you, you could be there last year. Where did you need to travel from?
Its so cool that more and more people/reactors are reacting to these videos although they are not into those type of music. Really appreciate it. I can recommend you the Qlimax 2014 Aftermovie. Its an indoor event and for still to this day the best Qlimax show.
The whole weekend cost €289,95 and im not sure if it is with the camping also consider that this event is 3-4 days (i also recommend you guys should watch tomorrow land) Defqon 1 also has an 250k geusts and the Full weekend tickets are within an hour of starting the sale sold out so you gotta be quick purchasing
Note: it actually is 20 minutes, i was there, with over 100,000 People on the same square in front of the mainstage, but the festival is an entire weekend, for some People a Day, but there is a lot more on the days then Just the 20 minute endshow, so 20 minutes is not bad for it all
Was at the very front for the end show. Wasn't really intentional, but a good area opened up in the crowd about 30 minutes before the end show. I knew for quite a while that fireworks were going off, but I couldn't see them at first since the stage was blocking my view. You can tell that some of the light hitting you isn't from lasers or LEDs, and you can feel the weird 'pop' as they leave their launch tubes. Then at some point, I turned around and looked behind me, and I was totally surrounded. A wall of fireworks, like a massive courtyard surrounded by volcanoes. It was incredible. (If anyone in the comments is the dude I clung to after 1527 and just sobbed, sorry. But be honest, when patted each other on the back afterwards, you were crying as well.)
You should definetly try to watch the Defqon.1 2023 power hour. Might even have some drinks involved, that’s optional. It’s in the day time, but the vibe, stage performance with dancers, costumes and stunts, and variety is amazing. You guys would LOVE it 🙂 and thank you for reacting to these amazing hardstyle shows, i love your reactions ❤
I visit Defqon.1 Weekend each year since 2011 (only 2019 missed)... you need to come and join our Family and Tribe as a Weekend Warrior... you will never forget this experience .... I promise you :) lovely greetings from Germany... keep it up
Great video! I was there, way back and off to the side since we got there late (had to see Dimitri K's set for a bit, can recommend watching the replay) and the song 1527 by Sefa is still my best memory of that weekend. It is said, to comment on the amount of pyro, that they shot 1527 fireworks during that song alone, to match the song name. Insane.
I understand your criticism about the absence of screens, but there is actually a very good reasons for that. Defqon 1 is all about the raw experience. Everything should feel as if this entire festival grew out of the ground like vegetation. Having screens up would kinda ruin that. Also, every attendee knows that Q-Dance will eventually release videos from the event, and that’s where you will see everything. Also, paradoxically the absence of “low” bass on the distorted kicks requires the proper sound. They play way down in the low frequencies, so you need a sub with a frequency response to handle that. When you’re there, those kicks actually hit the hardest :-)
i can give u a few answers on ur questions . first off all yes its tons of money on fire works 4 days long . in the day time they use confetti 2 simulate the fire works and in the evenings when it gets dark they use firework . about where u stand for the shows it doesnt really matter oke u are right u cant see the dansers or the shows on the actual podium if u are standing further back but screens no that will ruin the defqon vibe. about the bass ive been there so many times and before i go in i let my food in my stumic digest its so hard even in the back of every stage its goes in youre stumac and out the back . the most they earn and where they got there money back is from food and drinks . i always go on a saturday and this year 2024 it costs 125 euro for the ticket for saturday only a weekend costs 290 euro . there are in total over 4 days 250.000 people . so i hope i gave u some answers and on 2 the next one the closing ritual for 2023 :P
Thanks for the hart !! If you whant to know what happens at daytime ...please see THIS IS SEFA defqon 1 2022 !!! He pays the piano and brings a choir to the stage and a classical orgesta and he makes 60.000 hardcore fans sing allong !!!! A must see !!! have fun and lots of love from the Netherlands. ps iam going to see all this madness this year !!!
Ticketprices vary due to what you want your experience to be. Either you go a specific day, the complete weekend with camping, camping with a presetup tent, a more luxurious tent with beds and sleepingbags already there for you, towards actual beds in a tent, or even a "hotel" at the campsite. So you can spend anything from around 90 euro to a couple thousands of euro per person Oh by the way, the weekend is 4 days! Another edit : I'm a metalhead too, but also a gabber, i love a good amount of Hardstyle, but even more Hardcore. If you like more stuff to react to, i got quite a few really awesome video's that have their own amount of awesomeness in a musicstyle you are unfamiliar to.
I LOVE your reactions so much, i hope you will do a reaction to every year’s endshow :) and defqon.1 has a crazy ligth show, BUT. If u want to, you should try to react to Dominator 2023 endshow, it’s also by Q-dance and art of dance. That show will blow your mind, i gurrante! Anyways, love your reactions like i said in the beginning 🙂 also, just a side note. LOVE the new blue hair ^^
Tomorrowland does it better... but at the same time they don't. They have the budget and tech to blow Defqon out of the water. But it's probably the raver heritage behind Qdance and the smaller contractors that makes the difference. Defqon is undisputed at this point.
@@punishedfoxo tommorowland is freemason shit thats why people die there. You dont believe me haha their logo is behind every dj set. I hope they not take over Defcon 1 because then there will be people die because they are sick MF
Instant goosebumps during multiple moments of this video... and can't wait to be back this summer... booked last october (again) and yes, it is simply mindblowing when you stand somewhere basically right in the middle and see the whole stage... and then you get the info after the event that this stage had a total height of 54m (to put the fireworks in relation) and talking about "pyro" on that festival, this was one of like 3 outdoor stages that had pyros going off... and one of the stages that had it for like 4 or 5 acts per day during the acts... and THIS is a lot... sure, the red had the area where it was the easiest to reload the pyros but they for normal did it once a day... and then they just had to watch to not set off stuff by accident however, when you get the last acts at the night and every act had fireworks on the red... you know how much money went up in the sky... (and the amount of production there as well with all the services and support, media broadcast with live stream, their own TV-studio on the holy grounds... you get a lot more than you expect when you pay for that, you can pay more like me with weekend premium pass and a locked off camping site... or you can go even higher with the festival hotel they set up there with your own spa area)
and yes, the recordings NEVER can give you the feeling and hard hitting bass you get there... I mean I used earplugs for music events that get you clean sound but protect your ears and you could feel the bass in your chest... so yes, the recordings clipped a lot of that sound... with some soundprograms you can enhance it for a good experience at home or use a high end digital surround system... but nothing beats the real deal there... and yes, the video editing is next level... because in the crowd you can't see everything... but on the recordings you then can see what you might have missed for real
the whole festival is 4 days (5 nights when you camp there) and it starts on thursday where the main stage is not open yet... so you got like 6 to 7 stages open at that time... and it starts at early afternoon in front of the entry gates with like 4 acts each, at 6PM the event itself started last year and thursday ended at 2AM at the magenta and at 3AM at the wasted lands campsite (where a dayticket user can't go) on friday it started 11AM on all stages besides the red and the orange, the orange opened at 2PM and the red at 3PM (and the final sounds were at 11PM at the red and then you went on to the Magenta and the night stages with the official end at 3 AM) saturday was like 11AM besides the red, that opened one hour later and the endshow (which you reacted to in this video) ended at 11PM (and again you then went on to the night stages where you had official parties till 3AM) and on sunday (day 4) it is "sunday funday" with crazy costumes and weird stuff all over... and guess what... yes... this is the one special day where basically when most other stages close the red opens one last time... at 8 PM for the final 3 acts (the blue as well as the UV which was the black for 3 days) still had open but the red is the final stage to say so with the biggest crowd... and then you only have your private afterparty once it is 11PM (because then the event is officially over but after 4 days of party you need the sleep if you aren't leaving the same day) monday morning was big departure day... and it was so worth it and yes, the tickets have a wide range but still offer a lot for the money you pay by the way... the shouted "defqon 1" at the end
A good reaction and it's just that the atmosphere and the complete show like the pryotechnics cannot be surpassed by all hardstyle festivals and that's why defqon 1 is the best-known hardstyle festival, even in white, but there are others that are allowed Also don't forget and now the prices you have to pay for a day with over €200 and also now the genre and subgenre I only refer to what you listened to in the end show and the entire festival genre is hardcore (techno) subgenre only In the end show there were hardstyle: euphoric hardstyle, rawstyle (Psystyle, rawphoric hardstyle, Xtra raw) and outside of hardstyle there was also frenchcore and in hdm there was also reverse bass
Just a recommendation, when you really wanna watch heavy bass try out - Delete VIP Supremacy 2019 - it's pure power in your face. Love your reactions to hardstyle ❤️
The ticket price is between 400-600 dollars ish, it is held during 4 days. Easily worth the money! Fyi, there is a defqon in australia aswell. 😊 i guess you are from Australia or new Zeeland.
I don't know if you can, but if you want to see the crowd's energy at its maximum, I recommend you react to Defqon 1 Power Hour, whether it's 2022 or 2023, it's daytime, and although the video lasts a long time, it's worth it, every second is pure madness. I know you'll really like it, as will others who reacted. I liked your reactions to this event, I hope to see more. Greetings🎉🎉😊

If you go the whole weekend experience including a fully equipped tent and breakfast you pay like 600€ it is approximately 650 USD. At the end you can take the tent with you, nice about this is, you have the defqon logo on it 👌🏼
You really don't want to use the basic tent you can buy from the festival. It basically has no ventilation, so you will be getting up at 7:20 am, regardless of when you went to bed since the tents will get to 50 degrees as soon as the sun hits them. Buy a single layered tent with plenty of mesh netting that still has a good rain rating, and a battery powered fan. Honestly though, as soon as the sun wakes you up. Get up. Saw way too many paramedics running through the camp sites because people were getting serious heat stroke in the morning.
The charm of defqon.1 is that there is no videoscreens, no videowalls, just lights, decor, music, crowd. Really awesome experience and a big part of defqon

i see everyone just with their phones out, its a shame i feel that it takes away to really experience it.
expect a memorable defqon 2024.it will be the 20th anniversery !
cant wait !
See you there!
can't wait indeed
Love these reactions!
2 cents of someone who was there for a couple of times:
1st: I feel your idea with the screens, so everyone can see the on stage performances, but they would definitly kill the vibe. All these performances on stage(as the ones during Power Hour) are mainly for the video productions I guess.
2nd: You really have to check out the Closing Ritual of 2023. The track „Lost Without You“ is one of the best productions of the last couple of years!
Thank you for the video!
Lost without You suck balls imo
Nope, still cant watch this without tears of happiness and feeling homesick at the same time. Defqon is home ❤
That's the best way to put it. You know it's home when you're setting up a savings parameter on your banking app to set aside a budget for next year as you're on the train back to Utrecht.
God the 2017 legends set nothing in the world would beat that experience. Standing there for 3 hours in near perfect weather having the best classics thrown at you.
haha, feel the same
@@maxdehaas6776 unfortunately i missed that year due to financial issues... I was listening the livestream tho. And my mind blew away
@@JanElBrabo 🧡🧡 its home away from home.
Something for everyone :)
So in terms of size and prices.
They earn enough money each year :D
As mentioned, the festival take place for four days.
4 month left until Defqon.1 - 20 years 🥰🥳
greetings from Germany ❤
20:21 Tickets this year started at 280€ for the weekend ticket.
Food and drinks is one of the places they get the most back.
Last year my weekend cost me 600€ at the festival.
They also have "super premium accomodations" that are upwards of 1500€ per person and that's without a ticket.
23:21 did you notice that the fireworks are 360 around the crowd. Defqon.1 really is amazing, I can’t wait to go this year for the first time after watching it on RUclips since 2012🔥
when you there if give you John Wick Vibe..and is Once in the Lifetime Thing..i cannot describe it
I get what you´re saying about the bass in some of the songs. But it´s not really a hardstyle or Defqon bass problem whether there is much or no low frequencies in there.
The kick sound is basically a hardstyle artists signature. So it's more artist dependent, than genre specific, if there is much bass in the song or not.
and about the screens its not a concert its a feeling
oh no worries it definitely hits you in the chest - and more - if you are there. 've been there 4 times already and it's a breathtaking experience.
sidenote: if you have trouble doing your business.. you don't need to push if you go to the restroom :'D (even at the camping grounds)
You should react to the CLOSING CEREMONY and POWER HOUR of 2023
So good.
God no, please not Power Hour. Power Hour is the ultimate cringefest. They should react to Qlimax intros instead.
4 days absolutely madness party with real DEFQON 1 warriors!!!✅✅✅💪
you are correct about 'the defqon sound' for the bass. but a good defqon track has layers that take you on a journey, time and time again.
SUPER ! Now do Sefa on Defqon ! Stage and Theatre performance. You will LOVE this ! Really !
His 2019 Closing Ritual was top notch!
You really NEED to check The Defqon.1 Closing Ritual 2023 as well! It's absolutely worth it! 🥰🧡
if you get a chance to go to defqon take it you'll be amazed by the production quality if all the shows and the vibe
I was there!!! Amazing stuff.
PS: Being there in person is better IMO
yeah Hardstyle is a huge part of my life, the feeling is so good! everytime i listen to it i get tears
Lovely reaction and your right with the basskick
I dont like that peepkick but im 52 and old skool maybe thats it !
This is only the mainstage you're seeing. check out the Defqon.1 2023 aftermovie to get a glimpse of the whole festival :) :)
A regular weekend ticket for defqon.1 costs 290 euro for 4 days including camping (bring your own tent). You can make it more expencive however if you choose other stay options like hotel or chalet, friends camp etc. The event draws about 250 thousand visitors over 4 days.
Awesome video, also the difference between watching the video and be there
When you watch the video, you see everything that you don't when you're on the ground BUT when you're on place, you are in the middle of it, you feel everything ! You don't even know where to look because everything explode 360° every sens are multiplied x1 000 000
Disclaimer : this is the moment where you see the most people passing out hahaha
I saw more people passing out due to the heat during the day 😅 Almost got a heatstroke myself on the Sunday
Please check out Defqon 1 2024. ❤
The bad basses are brilliant if you stand there.
It hits your body in a special way, kind of vibrant and gooseboomps follow 🎉
endshow 2024 is online guys!! and do the endshow and the closing ritual they are both amazing!! ❤
You can only expect these kinds of shows in the Netherlands. The Hague, Malieveld
@@sanderdekker8480 I travelled from Sweden. I could have gone to Defqon many times if I wanted, but then I would have to go alone.
It was fantastic. Some kicks just makes the air vibrates around you.
Its so cool that more and more people/reactors are reacting to these videos although they are not into those type of music. Really appreciate it. I can recommend you the Qlimax 2014 Aftermovie. Its an indoor event and for still to this day the best Qlimax show.
The whole weekend cost €289,95 and im not sure if it is with the camping also consider that this event is 3-4 days (i also recommend you guys should watch tomorrow land)
Defqon 1 also has an 250k geusts and the Full weekend tickets are within an hour of starting the sale sold out so you gotta be quick purchasing
Please react to defqon endshow 2024❤❤❤❤❤ best one so far
Note: it actually is 20 minutes, i was there, with over 100,000 People on the same square in front of the mainstage, but the festival is an entire weekend, for some People a Day, but there is a lot more on the days then Just the 20 minute endshow, so 20 minutes is not bad for it all
Mainstage capacity is 65000, there's a little less than 100k per day except Thursday which is around 52k max (campsite capacity is 52k)
Give that woman a ticket, she wants to go , you can see it in her eyes😂
You should definetly try to watch the Defqon.1 2023 power hour. Might even have some drinks involved, that’s optional. It’s in the day time, but the vibe, stage performance with dancers, costumes and stunts, and variety is amazing. You guys would LOVE it 🙂 and thank you for reacting to these amazing hardstyle shows, i love your reactions ❤
I visit Defqon.1 Weekend each year since 2011 (only 2019 missed)... you need to come and join our Family and Tribe as a Weekend Warrior... you will never forget this experience .... I promise you :)
lovely greetings from Germany... keep it up
Defqon.1 vai ser sempre meu festival favorito, não tem nada igual a ele no mundo.
I loved your reaction ! You are so sweet ! You see the beauty of this festival ! I am 68 year young and also love Defqon 1 !!
Thanks for the hart !! If you whant to know what happens at daytime ...please see THIS IS SEFA defqon 1 2022 !!! He pays the piano and brings a choir to the stage and a classical orgesta and he makes 60.000 hardcore fans sing allong !!!! 2022
Imagine how fun this would be without cell phones in everyone’s hand. This in 1997 would have been fire as fuck
Love the vid/reactions! that from an dutch guy who never gets into tickets, lol
Ticketprices vary due to what you want your experience to be. Either you go a specific day, the complete weekend with camping, camping with a presetup tent, a more luxurious tent with beds and sleepingbags already there for you, towards actual beds in a tent, or even a "hotel" at the campsite.
So you can spend anything from around 90 euro to a couple thousands of euro per person
Oh by the way, the weekend is 4 days!
You guys should react to Defqon 1 2024 endshow and closing ritual
You asked about the prices: 4 days for $ 290.- Hotel starts with $ 31.-/ night incl. food. Take 600.- and youre great.
Defcon 1 is driving the evolution in festival pyro and lights... They operate on a different level!
Def check out the closing ritual on Sunday. Absolutely mindblowing. Hardstyle is it's purest form.
Instant goosebumps during multiple moments of this video... and can't wait to be back this summer... booked last october (again)
and yes, it is simply mindblowing when you stand somewhere basically right in the middle and see the whole stage... and then you get the info after the event that this stage had a total height of 54m (to put the fireworks in relation)
and talking about "pyro" on that festival, this was one of like 3 outdoor stages that had pyros going off... and one of the stages that had it for like 4 or 5 acts per day during the acts... and THIS is a lot... sure, the red had the area where it was the easiest to reload the pyros but they for normal did it once a day... and then they just had to watch to not set off stuff by accident
however, when you get the last acts at the night and every act had fireworks on the red... you know how much money went up in the sky...
I mean I used earplugs for music events that get you clean sound but protect your ears and you could feel the bass in your chest... so yes, the recordings clipped a lot of that sound... with some soundprograms you can enhance it for a good experience at home or use a high end digital surround system... but nothing beats the real deal there... and yes, the video editing is next level... because in the crowd you can't see everything... but on the recordings you then can see what you might have missed for real
the whole festival is 4 days (5 nights when you camp there) and it starts on thursday where the main stage is not open yet... so you got like 6 to 7 stages open at that time... and it starts at early afternoon in front of the entry gates with like 4 acts each, at 6PM the event itself started last year and thursday ended at 2AM at the magenta and at 3AM at the wasted lands campsite (where a dayticket user can't go)
on friday it started 11AM on all stages besides the red and the orange, the orange opened at 2PM and the red at 3PM (and the final sounds were at 11PM at the red and then you went on to the Magenta and the night stages with the official end at 3 AM)
saturday was like 11AM besides the red, that opened one hour later and the endshow (which you reacted to in this video) ended at 11PM (and again you then went on to the night stages where you had official parties till 3AM)
and on sunday (day 4) it is "sunday funday" with crazy costumes and weird stuff all over... and guess what... yes... this is the one special day where basically when most other stages close the red opens one last time... at 8 PM for the final 3 acts (the blue as well as the UV which was the black for 3 days) still had open but the red is the final stage to say so with the biggest crowd... and then you only have your private afterparty once it is 11PM (because then the event is officially over but after 4 days of party you need the sleep if you aren't leaving the same day)
monday morning was big departure day... and it was so worth it
and yes, the tickets have a wide range but still offer a lot for the money you pay
by the way... the shouted "defqon 1" at the end
Please react on Defqon 1 2023 Power Hour

you can say what you want, but q-dance never fail to amaze
prices are 360 euro’s i think for 4 days with camping (ofc you have to bring your own stuff) and 90 euro for one day i think 🙂
