Hi Steve, I've heard good things about Panama but haven't been there yet. I hope you like it! I hear Mexico can also be a good option with an easy path to permanent residence & citizenship.
Thanks Nick. Definitely a lot to consider. When I recalibrated my FIRE number that definitely bumped out my timeline from about 2 more years to 6 more years. It was soul crushing 😉
I’m 63, now again on an ACA plan if Florida, was on ACA in past and it became very expensive. Now have the ability to control my income and able to get a subsidy and also have an HSA plan. So paying about $300 per month(was $430)before my wife went on Medicare. This is a good price, with a max out of pocket of about $7000.
I love your content! Thank you for the effort and time you put into your videos! Very informative and helpful!
You're welcome, thanks for your support! :)
We are considering Panama, and are traveling to explore the country in February.

It's a lot of money! I wish there was a way to cut the cost, but not seeing a great option. At least it's still close 😀
Sounds like you picked up, received valuable information from this video; Bravo!
My knowledge is really more FI related than stock related so maybe this will be epic!
Healthcare in America is nothing but epic!

Hi Randolph, that's great you're able to use the subsidy, $7000 is a good max! :)
