Really enjoy your videos. Keep up the great work. I know its a Grom, but when riding two-up does the high mount exhaust provide enough clearance for your backseat driver? Thanks much!
Thanks for the entertainment with each video. I'm running the Vance & Hines and enjoy it tons. Do you know at what oil temp I should start getting concerned? Is 270 getting to that point? Thank you for your time.
Wow, 270F is way too hot. At 220F I start paying attention and anything over 240F is asking for trouble. What mods are you running that are getting you that hot? Sounds like next mod for you in an oil cooler...
@@eastcoastish So far only running the Vance & Hines exhaust and the Dingerbilt intake. I flashed my ECU with the Dynojet PV3. I'm in Ohio so intake air this time of year is in the 70's low 80's. Work commute is long stretches of country roads 3/4 to full beans 15 min ride.
I ordered this pipefor my 2023 geom feb 27th and the orderi s still pending. Ive emailed tyga several times without a response. Can you tell me where i can get a tyga high mount exhaust?
Nice sounds good...guess what man I just purchased a 71 ct70 I'm excited never thought I would own one this soon..any parts let me know pls thank you🙏✌🤙🛵😎
@@eastcoastish just a restoration just want to get everything new and keep the frame the same stock color...thanks man I appreciate it...its all your fault 😂🤙🙏🛵
Hello, great video thanks .. I just installed mine seems like it wasn’t a perfect fit but it is on.. Is your muffler able to wiggle a little bit and pivot a little where the top pipe meets the middle pipe ?
@@eastcoastish no it is not because other wise I would not be able to line up the spring hooks .. I did fix it a little there is just a little Gap between the pipes .. I took it for a ride and it seems better
I did find out that the mid-pipe actually bolts down to the bracket from the back and not the front like the OEM exhaust. This closed a gap between the midpipe and header pipe for me.
I had one on pre-order and then changed my mind once I saw them in person. Like all Honda bikes, it's well made and is great fuel-efficient transportation - just seems a little less exciting than the Grom or some of the other mini motos when it comes to performance and having fun on them.
I hope I'm seeing things, but it looks like those turn signal spacers are FDM 3D printed. That's such a cheap move that is totally inexcusable to me. Otherwise it looks like a well engineered exhaust. They even included the rear brake reservoir relocator bracket so you don't cook the brake fluid.
Yes, the signal brackets seem to be a 3D printed PLA. As a spacer, they're structurally sound, no reason to bother machining an aluminum or delrin piece that few people are going to use anyway.
When you run aftermarket exhaust, like Ken does in the video, it helps to retune the exhaust. The most common option for this is a piggyback ecu called “aRacer mini”. There is an o2 sensor which screws into the exhaust. Some exhausts, like this one, does not come with a hole to install this o2 sensor. The name for the hole is “bung” or “o2 bung”. As Ken said in his comment, you would need to have a hole tapped and welded into place for an o2 sensor if you wanted to run one.
It's great to see more companies coming out with an exhaust for the 22. Please bring back some CT70 content. Thanks
One of the best sounds on this planet,
grom whith pipe
Easy peasy install. Sounds pretty good too
Loving so much the decals.

Yeh, there's enough clearance for a 2-up rider.
Keen to know how this compared to the Yoshi on the dyno.. when are you planning on doing/posting that?
Hey great video question for you will this exhaust work on the Navi as well?
The price of these Grom exhaust's is crazy!
I've paid less for full exhuasts on big bikes.
Does this exhaust have a removable baffle?

Mine was a very perfect fit. Are you sure it’s not on backwards? Mine was at first (and was loose) so I flipped it around…

Can you run the tyga as a slip on and utilize the stock exhaust hanger near the passenger peg?
Does the spring tool come with the exhaust?
No, but you can get them off Amazon for about $7.
Does this weigh less
Did u make the video is this exhaust vs the yoshimura high mount as well ? On the dyno
Not yet. I’ll have the Repsol Grom back on the dyno soon for a new Bbk and will test them then.
Where can I get this exhaust ??
The link is in the description.
Se puede pedir este escape en España?
What do you think about the Honda navi?

Does this exhaust system have the bung for the o2 sensor from the aRacer?
No, you need to have one welded.
What is this?
When you run aftermarket exhaust, like Ken does in the video, it helps to retune the exhaust. The most common option for this is a piggyback ecu called “aRacer mini”. @@TheHandsomeSweet ok I see. Would getting a canned tune from DHM or CJR relieve the need of the bung?
Getting the tune loaded to your ecu eliminates the need for an o2 sensor
Sounds like a dirtbike 😂
