    In this tutorial, I'll show you how to use the Render Tree Filter in Photoshop, some of the drawbacks of the tool and how to get past these. We'll then create a quick composite using some photos, generative fill and the tree filter. In the course of this you'll also see how we can use other tools in Photoshop, including curves, hue/saturation, the object selection tool, pattern overlay and more!

    Perfect timing on this video Rikard. I had no idea about the trees and I need a few more in something I have been working on. Thank you.

    So this is really strange. My Render/Tree filter is greyed out. Would anybody have any idea why?

      It may be that your graphics card doesn't have the requirements to run the filter. Thank you for this very interesting tutorial! I had never really used this tool because I found the result artificial, and I learned a lot about this technique today.

      Yeah, I haven't used it much for the same reason-but if you know that limitation and work around it, it can still be useful in certain scenarios and composites.

    Thanku . Can you please also guide what is the difference between curves and levels ?

    • @nuclylearn
      @nuclylearn  7 месяцев назад

      Both serve the same purpose, but curves has finer control as you can add points to your curve whereas in Levels you are limited to 5 control points.

    This discovery of the tree generator in PS will save me a ton of time! I can't believe that I'd never heard of it before! Thanks Rikard! See you in the Academy!

      It's a fun filter to work with! I highlighted it in a recent tutorial on special fx.

    Why don't you buy a complete Lego scenario to be build and rebuild again and again. You are obviously not interested in actual photography.

      Some people understand that creativity encompasses photography,art creation, and inspiration from above. Good luck Mr photoshop.

      @@cliffdickinson7091 Regarding my own creativity important I left the AI driven Adobe wokish system some time ago and learned to use Darktable and Affinity Photo. With no AI intruder to steal your images, you will be free to show the world what you really is worth as a photographer. Otherwise you should ask the questions, who makes the images for you? who is the true creator? who has the moral right to sign 'your art work'? I loved the original Photoshop, but it is gone.

      @@Eigil_Skovgaardsome people would argue why you need to show your work to the world in the first place. I take photos and I don't feel the need to show them to the world. It's for me and no-one else. So next time you feel the need to tell people what to do just remember that others are thankfully different than you.

      @@pellier08 With such a withdrawn profile - why are you participating at all in this debate on YT about teaching everybody about AI, which in my opinion is destroying photographic creativity. Working with the little box with the small hole that allows light to get in and shape an image is something special. Btw., to me it's not much fun just to put energy and creativity into the project of being a better photography, if you never show your products to others. Why limit yourself, if you are able to produce fine images and get positive reactions from others than your mom. That's a very giving experience, you should try it.

      @@Eigil_Skovgaard how about you let people do what they want instead of attacking them. Not everybody is like you. Do you really think you are going to change people's minds?! You are very native and very narrow minded. Go back showing off your photos to boost your ego and let people be!
