Timon's storyline was one of th eones that they started building but couldn't really do much with when they found out they werent getting a third season, sadly. There quite a few bits in this season you can feel that, like how last ep Pullo0 just randomly comes back to the Aventine, bumps into Lydee and finds out about the kids, theres a few instances where you feel they jsut had to get shit moviing now that their 5 season plan wasn't happening
I thought they had to make the change because the series was supposed to go five seasons, to a point that Octavian would have been in his 70s, and Max Pirkis couldn't do that
gad dayum its always nice to have these! thank you for the video reaction ! Rome is such a good TV show, the telented acting, the history, the intrigue, the politics... omygod so goood ^^ 11:33 yes :DDD ofc he is, I like how the show outlined how the troops were more loyal to their general that they loved rather than the state (the republic, which was represented by a few rich aristocrats).
Rome is definitely in my top 3 series ever. Along with GOT and Band of Brothers. It's unfortunate that they cut the show short but as it was the first big budget show set the standard for future series like it.
actually Hitler had a full mustache but after a gas attack in the first war and him having his mask not sealing properly he trimmed it so he would not suffer the fate of those who had been gassed
Just when you think it cant get any better......the plot turns....again......and it will turn ..again.....Attia scheming..oh she's got another big one coming will turn your heads........again........ Nice reaction.
Show was critically acclaimed. It was though at the time the most expensive series ever all those sets were built for the show and they were almost real
It was years btwn when he left and the battle. Why everybody thinks everybody in this series what's marching up and down Italy in a matter of a day or two. Unless it's stated or really obvious the time periods in this are like weeks months and years. Caesar was in power for 4 years not just a couple episodes
Marcus Cicero was like Rome's Shakespeare. He used his words to become a Consul of Rome. And he loved Rome and hated the idea of Rome becoming an Empire.
If the show hadn't been canceled I think the Jewish storyline would have played a major part of Season 3 given the history of Judea and Rome at this time. Great reaction as always. Thanks.
It is a little bit of a pity that they made Agrippa such an awkward whiney teen s!mp. He was (gross simplification) to Octavian what Mark Antony was to Julius Ceasar.
Simon Woods was a great choice to play Octavian. He's equal parts ice and intellect.
Yes he is absolutely brilliant

They changed Octavian actor to indicate how much time had passed since he left Rome.
@@Zseventyone it always bugged me that they recast Octavian but didn't recast Verenus' kids.
@ Excellent point. Thought never occurred to me but I’ve only seen the series once and that was when it “aired.”

Huh huh huh. You'll see.
Hehe you’ll see 😆
Brutus is the Kendall of Rome
I like that 😁
That 'you can't torture main characters' is genius never thought of that but so tru. I'm stealing the credit for that thx mate
..says GoT: Theon brunch?
While it absolutely sucks, yes, a confession by torture was the only legal confession in Roman Law.
Good show

Formal doesn’t get any of his predictions right during Rome
I can't predict history fam, it's already set in stone lol
Ah general Posca speaks.
At leasat they didn't bring in the Baboon for Servillia

Remember, the boy is NOT his son. Not a blood relative at all.
And..?
@ And Formal says “son” all the time.

Mnnah! Carthago delenda est always liked that one.....'cause OH MY did that city get removed from earth😲
HBO will never learn that people don't grow up and transform into completely different people.
SUITS know?
A bag of salt for any man who likes and subscribes
Patrice O'Neal says "You'll See" on Octavia...cuz she a major part of the rest of this Season. :)
