You will have a million of places to venture out and see whether it includes nature or the city life. So many quirky cafes, bars and shops that are a lot of fun to hangout in. Lots of art, community and awesomeness. Great delicious foods and beers and coffees. Mount Tabor and Forest Park are some of the couple places that are absolutely gorgeous. There's Mount hood as well. Seattle is a 2 and a half hour drive north, and then canada is nearby. You are in a reasonable driving distance from Reno to go back and see Kev's fam and the tiny house whenever you're feeling homesick. It's just gorgeous in the PNW._*
