Can you show how the chest protectors are fitted inside the textile jacket? I tried recently and I can’t fit them through the zip and the pockets are too small
I’m looking to replace my 15 year old hein gericke jacket and trousers. I really like the jacket with the AAA & level 2 armour combination but I don’t like the race hump.
Hi 1fromthetree. The suit and the leather jacket have the hum and are AAA rated. The textile jacket doesn't haver the hump but it is only AA rated, most likely because it offers less abrasion protection. They do have racing humps but they aren't as big as big as I've seen on some other brands of leathers, so they still might be worth looking at. Alternatively you could look at the RST S1 range, which don't have the racing humps on them. Thank you for watching our video and being the first person to leave us a comment 👍
@@1FromTheTreeyou’d be better off with the RST Sabre, triple A rated and leather, but very comfortable and more relaxed fit with no race humps, they have just discontinued it but it’s available in most sizes and discounted! Check it out
@@1FromTheTree Hey I know this was a few months ago but RST has their RST S-1 CE Leather Jacket which is more street biased so it does not have a race hump and still has the AAA rating. It does however only come with level 1 CE pads and no back pad so you're sacrificing there but you could always upgrade the pads.
Hi I’m unsure whether to buy the tractech eco 5 leather jacket or the s1 ce leather jacket. Could you give me any advice on the advantages of either one? Many thanks
@TheKernkraft The RST S-1 CE Leather Jacket comes with Level 1 CE pads for elbow and shoulder vs the Tractech Evo 5's Level 2 pads and only has the pocket for a back pad but does not include one. It also does not have the race hump as it is more street biased. The S-1 still has a AAA abrasion rating.
Hi Kernkraft. @edgemaster1 is right, the S1 leather jacket has only got level 1 shoulder and elbow armour. It also doesn't come with a back protector. The S1 also retails at £249.99 and the back protector is £29.99, making it a total of £279.98 . The TracTech Leather jacket comes with level 2 armour and a back protector included and costs £299.99 , for the extra £20.01 over the S1 with a back protector included, I'd say it's worth getting the TracTech jacket. Thank you for watching our video and I hope this has helped 👍
Hi Enzibar. The TracTech leathers aren't made with airbag technology in mind. You will notice that they don't have the four way motion stretch panel over the top of the shoulders that the Pro Series and V4.1 have. That stretch panel allows the suit to expand when the airbag deploys, to prevent the force of it being directly exerted onto the user. It is possible to wear airbag protection underneath a none airbag garment if you get one that is over sized or already has the ability to expand, like the new RST Ranger jacket does. I hope this has helped? Thank you for watching my video and thanks for leaving ma a comment. 👍
Hi Wrath. I am 5'11" with a 32 waist. I fit size 42 in the tractech leathers but they fit well round my core. It might be that you are a 44 in the tractech or alternatively, if you got the Pro Series suit, you would be a 42 because it has a little bit more room around the mid. I hope this has helped and thank you for watching our video. 👍
@@mymoto-uk Appreciate your reply. Alternatively i prefer the furygan fullride suit which looks much better and has Lvl2 D30 armor as well. What do you think is better in comparison to these 2. Cheers!
Hi @@wrathofdiablo. If your primary focus is protection then I would recommend getting an airbag suit like the RST Pro Series. Dainese have recently said that their airbag is the equivalent to eight of their back protectors, which just shows how much extra protection they offer.
Hi Wizzard46. The main improvements have been made to the motion panels, to improve flexibility and the neck line to increase user comfort. Thank you for watching our video and for leaving us a comment. 👍
Hi Janus. That is a very good point. I will try and get a video done about all the different types of linings, also how they are removed and refitted. Thank you for your suggestion 👍

All of the talking and you did not show removable thermal lining and waterproof lining.
