My Girl actually preferred the men's version over the women's. The boots are unisex except the colors ladies. Don't limit your options try both for best fit.
there are three options about these boots (smxv6, smxv6 drystar (wp) and goretex) What exactly is the difference between these two(wp and goretex) ? Both are waterproof but which one would be a better choice for possible hot weather?
Gore Tex is the world’s leading LC breathable, waterproof liner. I just ordered the drystar version of this boot, because it’ll do just fine, but if you’re wanting the best, it’s goretex.
I wear an 8.5 us, and I tried on the 42 and 43. The fit was identical in width and the diameter of the upper, around the calves. The only difference was how long the toe box was. The 42 was perfect. I had an inch of room between my toes and the end of the toe of the boot on the 43’s. I ordered the 42 in dry star, because they didn’t have those in stock. I was trying on the vented version, but the fit should be identical.
It depends on your jean cuff size, a baggy jean you might be able to stretch over but a tapered jean no way. The top of the boot is about 18-19 inches in circumference so you can lay you jeans flat and measure the cuff then double that measurement to get the max circumference of you jean cuff and see if it will work for you.

Drystar uses a Drystar liner (Alpinestars' in house waterproof technology) and Gore-Tex uses a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex has superior breathability.
