This actually made me tear up a little. I first started WoW very soon after launch, the first character I ever made, and my main all the way until Wrath launched, was a troll. I still have a vivid recollection of the Valley of Trials and what my first few hours in the game felt like. Every single NPC, every quest, every rock and tree, I remember it all. Waking up the peons, collecting cactus blossoms from the cacti, the named scorpion "boss" on the hill, the spooky warlock cave in the north end of the valley, that weird dead end in the south filled with boars, the warm homely cave near the start where you could rest, the class trainers standing on rugs under their overhangs. I remember all of it like it was yesterday. I know I was probably only there for a couple hours realistically, but at the time it felt like forever. I had never played an mmo before, so the size of everything blew me away, before I even had any clue about the size of the world outside the valley. A few more hours later after leaving the valley, when I made my first stick of rough dynamite in Razor Hill and threw it at a quillboar, that's when I knew I would be playing this game until I was too old to move a mouse. I still play WoW today, but it has never recaptured that initial feeling I felt all those years ago, almost two decades now.
Ugh, you're making me want to renew my subscription and get back to my Classic Orc 😓 My first WoW character was an Orc Hunter back in Vanilla when I was just a kid on my dad's account. I miss good old Easykill (I forget if I named him or if my dad came up with a joke name)

The music, the ambience... man the nostalgia hits hard. World of Warcraft was phenomenal in 2004. The music captured a vast world full of mysteries, added subtle stories about lore and culture to each race. It was a soothing companion, trustworthy, awe-inspiring and it was always appropiate for the explorers current journey and location. The experience is not comparable today... nothing comes close to the experience of entering Azeroth for the first time. I personally believe that the music was a huge "hidden" part of the succes that WoW had back then.
These are so awesome. Saw another comment on these remasters. Paraphrasing: 'This is how I saw it when I was playing.' and I agree. Can't replicate those old times.
I came from UO and made the swap in January of '05 I don't believe there will ever be an MMO that recaptures my wonder the way my first steps into Azeroth did 20 years ago.
Why can we not have a WoW movie like this?? My first character in WoW was a Troll Warrior and the feelings from Durotar is unmatched by any other mmorpg. Beautiful work with the shots in this video, it is 100% accurate to what I remember and you focus on the good stuff and slapping those lazy peons was one of the highlights in that zone.. One thing that I missed in this video though was the scorpions, you killed a ton of scorpions in Durotar and then there was that big nasty quest elite scorpion. ^^
Lol that place sucks...most player choose orc or troll and sometimes even if they choose undead they'd hop on the zep and rather go quest in durotar and barrens..
Imagine doing Shadowglen ! The starting area for the night elves ! With saber tooth tigers ! Forests ! Would look amazing, and those pig like humanoid things 😂❤ wicked videos man 🎉
For WoW to have the same impact with its graphcis today as it did in 2004 it would have to look like this. In 2004 the WoW graphics were considered apex.
As a 3D animator all these videos are both stunning and terrifying to me. When I first started watching I thought these were amazing renders out of Unreal Engine. And although there's a handful of errors throughout, they're few and far between and you have to be looking for them. Would love to know how you achieved this, as I'd love to figure out how to incorporate it into my own workflow.
This is what WoW looked and felt like to me when I first started playing 😭
Орда навсегда!, особенно какие были эмоции когда после Катаклизма отстроили Оргриммар!
lol no it didnt stop lying to yourself, the graphics and the polygons were fucking primitive
fooken bollsheet
mustve been high on some guud shrooms HAHA
what? Like a cheap AI generated ripoff with glitches and bugs?
Its the year 2044, you put your VR headset and gear on, its friday night and a new Classic WoW launched.
Forget VR headset, this is being beamed straight into your brain with Neuralink

A new world of warcraft is what I desire.
At the very least, I would love a third-person, single-player action RPG in this style!
Wait until Twow release their unreal engine version in 2025

Awesome. that poor lazy peon.
Like AI had just declare what anyone dare to talk about currently real state of Durotar's Lazy Peon haha. "Leave me alone!".
Me not that kind of orc lol

Very awesome. Needs some Centaur though and the peon saying “me not that kind of orc!” 😆
Right in the nostalgic feels... 😢
This is so amazing. This is the first truly awesome thing I've seen out of AI.
Seriously we need a world of warcraft live action cinematic universe movie trilogy ❤❤❤
Fantastic, you can recognize all the quest givers, mobs and areas! :)
Really good - enjoyed this. Hope you make more!
The depths and scale of these shots is what lots of MMOs are missing. Amazing work mate
You're making me wanna play WOTLK again and again!! Pls stahp!!!
think of paladins and rogues corpse camping you for hours
I hope I live long enough to see this.

Dude, AI is becoming so freaking good so fast, it's honestly both scary AND awesome!
its not even good, look at the shitty oversaturated colors and the animations are piss
The true nostalgia would be Tirisfal Glades and the Forsaken starting zone. But this is a close followup.
