The rapping vampire is by Great American Fun Corp, and they've actually made several vampires with sunglasses. (Three, possibly more.) Count Floyd sells, evidently.
I LOVE Archive thrifts. It’s just so cozy. Reminds me of a Saturday morning with mom walking around the ARC and goodwill. 🥹 Goodtimes. Might do it next weekend. (I live with my mom)
Ben, upload that Cenex track in its entirety to Archive Annex if you can. It’s got serious earworm potential, and it’s been years since we’ve had some proper industrial musical content around here!
22:07 Legitimately wondering if it would be possible to reprogram the internals of that doll to play random Count Floyd clips...Good ol' Joe Flaherty deserves at least *one* piece of merch in his memory (RIP).
Hear me out, Movie idea Halloweiner, about Michael's brother Oscar Meyers they changed his last name by adding one letter to hide his relation to micheal because it could hurt the family meat business.
Looking forward to the Pfizer/Cenex records, what perfect Archivisms. @17:20 Archive nut and Craig Ferguson fan here. Instant nostalgic longing. @18:30 Oh, that's legitimately one of the more clever costumes I've ever seen.
I had the Indian summer last until the second week of October where I lived this year. Those Halloween decorations would’ve loved the 100 degree weather
Well Ben, we already knew you got the vampire plushie, since it was right there on your bookcase. Also, that country singer....NO! And those 7 inch records NEED to be its own OA episode very soon. EDIT: I also forgot, regarding that pen radio, that was a selling point of a lot of stuff in the 80s and 90s; "it's a this and a that, ALL IN ONE!" And speaking of the 80s, im surprised you know anything about Marathon candy bars! They disappeared from the mainstream in the early 80s. I remember them personally.
Thanks but no thanks for the jump scare(s) at the end. Get the menottes!!!! RIP Count Floyd (had an awesome guest appearance on Rush's Grace Under Pressure Live video)
Great episode as usual. I thought for sure that the Dracula doll would sing ''Sunglasses At Night'' by Corey Hart, but no, just a silly generic rap song. What a missed opportunity.
Ben on Columbus Day Indigenous Peoples Day (in SD) Native Peoples Day you didn't go to the Falls Park to the Powwow. It's okay my cousins and I didn't go either. Despite your mothers complaining about it.
I think it's a rite of passage (or is that right of passage) that when you hit a certain age, you just roll your eyes at Halloween decorations. Real life is far more horrific than a bunch of goofy looking monsters.
Happy week before Halloween!! I am betting that the highlight of this thrifting session is undoubtedly those Pfizer records. A happy Hootenanny to you (HOOTENANNY!!) and a reminder that I still have that Rolling Clover Industries jingle buried inside my head.
Nice REM ref.
Indeed
The vampire honestly looks less like Count Floyd and more like John Belushi imo.
"Our movie tonight is...NEIGHBORS! Oooooo, that's a scary film keeds! John Belushi is a square, and his neighbor is wacky! ARROOOOOOO!"🧛♂

Put on your 3-D glasses or you'll only see this in... 1/2-D.
You could always make one of those "October 31" pumpkins with a discarded toilet float, if that isn't already a discarded toilet float.
Always enjoy the thrifting episodes Ben. Thanks for taking us along! 🙌🏼
17:40 Handcuff me, or handcuff menottes!

He could play Mrs Miller and Half Japanese loud on repeat if he wants to break a lease.

5:21 Ooh Chicago!
"If you leave me now, you'll take away the biggest paaaaaart of me"
I unironically want that vampire so I can tell people it's a bootleg Count Floyd doll, & I have an excuse to show them his greatness!!! 😊
That clown in spirit halloween was the terrifer from the terrifer film series 15:09
Hear me out, Movie idea Halloweiner, about Michael's brother Oscar Meyers they changed his last name by adding one letter to hide his relation to micheal because it could hurt the family meat business.
Hell that would honestly be better than the trash sequel that was dumped on Peacock a while back. 😅
Looking forward to the Pfizer/Cenex records, what perfect Archivisms.

@18:30 Oh, that's legitimately one of the more clever costumes I've ever seen.
The only skeleton named Jeff that I know of was from Craig Ferguson
Good luck with the Mrs. Miller record.
Happy Halloween, Ben!

I'm jealous of your Half Japanese and Fairport Convention cds! Great work Ben!
The vampire plushie - so when it all went bad for Porky Pig, this was his next 'gig'. You might say? LOL.🐷🐖🐽🧛🧛♂🧛♀
5:29 Tears for Fears! Classic group! Seeds of Love is a nice record from them. Both that and Songs from the Big Chair are pretty good in my opinion.
Thanks but no thanks for the jump scare(s) at the end. Get the menottes!!!!
RIP Count Floyd (had an awesome guest appearance on Rush's Grace Under Pressure Live video)
Beware Ben Jools Holland's sending over a cease and desist from the UK ha ha!

I’m with the other commenters, I can’t wait for those 7-inchers to be uploaded to Archive Annex.
Screw that. I want a whole OA episode on them. 😀
These horrible jokes are awesome!
You mean the horror-ible jokes, perhaps?

A 'f-right of passage', perhaps?
Sven is in high demand.

Ms. Miller groovy kind of love, heard that on a video podcast in 2015.
That "Profitable Beef Production" record might teach you how to get rich by starting a feud with Techmoan.
10:29 Looks like 1-2 frames of Ben's face got blurred out.. we were so close! 🤏
You might say that Dracula got flow.
18:30 OMG
Poor Shango,, so mis understood,,,,,
Hey the happy meal pail is back :)
Profitable Beef Production would be a great name for a rock band.
What, no Helloween CDs at those stores? Don't they realize RUclips content providers need bad seasonal puns?
Halloween Express was delightfully and appropriately lame.
I’m really more of a sockhop or box social kind of guy.
Boo!👻
