I just started getting into reloading. Found a 20g, 2 3/4, 1 1/8 load, and it calls for a non slit wad. This is something I am looking for. The name of the video through me off. I glad I clicked on it. Going to go try one out.
That’s pretty awesome and I also use the GAEP and I do mine by hand. The GAEP is pricey but worth it due to how safe it is to use by hand. I’ve never used it in my drill press but that a great idea 💡 I normally have enough time waiting for my lock and load to count out my powered that I can slit a wad or two to stay ahead of the powder.
I got an old one. It's a tube one end has 3 slits turn it over an it's 4 slits. It cut at a 45% angle it has 6 rings that go around plus a metal clip that let's you cut to 3 different depth.

Pretty neat, broad head with shaft and couple inserts, thags doable
I use a GAEP wad splitter with my drill press
