You are doing a good job Kimberly ❤ your plushies are so beautiful 💖 It sucks they held you guys hostage like that 😭 on the bright side, you now have plenty of inventory for your October market! :D keep your head up! 😊
Just found you and binging your videos 😅 I just love your sense of humor, even in situations where the laughter stops the tears, haha. So sorry you didn't make your booth fee back, that is such a bummer. Better luck at future events! ALSO, you forgot to tell the most important detail -- HOW WAS DINNER?
The event full-on taking a CHECK from y'all before the event is so sketchy!!! I've worked a few different ones and NEVER has that happened. One big one said we'd be fined if we packed up early, but to ask for it before-hand feels so yuck. It's like they knew it would be slow and they trapped y'all. I'm so sorry. Your work is so cute. I hope the next one is better! October - December should be so busy!
@@MaePekoPeko yes now looking back that should've been a red flag but now i know i will not be signing up for events like that & thank you hehe hopefully things turn around 😁
I'm from South Africa and I have noticed the same thing that if there is sport on the same time as a market then there is almost no people at the market. Same with end of the month markets or if there is other events in town.
Hey, 👋🏾. The markets or events that charge shoppers to enter tend not to do well for the reasons you expressed. ☹️. I myself do not do any events/markets that charge people to come in and shop. GOOD LUCK NEXT TIME 💕💕✌🏾
IDK what days sports are on, but I was at the Maker's Market on Saturday and it was pretty steadily packed the whole day. And it was 9AM-5PM. BUT it was also free to enter. I'm trying to decide if I want to apply for one that has a $5 entry fee. Now I'm really not sure.
omg so sorry about this market ): thats a big booth fee for a market with little foot traffic, hopefully they heard some vendors feedback and change for their next markets.
I’m so sorry! Maybe there were other events going on. But fellow vendors also said that sales are down on election years. I have never heard vendors giving a check so to not leave.. almost sounds like they knew? I hope your next market will be twice as good!!
Wow nooooo football season during market season should be a sin 😭😣 I’m sorry that happened to you; for the Hispanic market you should do a crochet plushie representing your country to draw ppl in! I loved all the plushies
So you're friend shares the both with you? And you paid $200? So she paid $200 to? So why is you're friend not splitting the vendor free with you???????????
@@FlufferKnots it was $250 total but i only asked her to pay $50 because she only used half of a table and i used 2 tables and the other half i felt it was more fair than splitting it but for the next event hopefully she'll have more product and we'll split it 50/50 again 😁
I had a 2 day indoor market in June ( I am in Palm Beach, FL) and I paid $250 for the 2 days. It was my first time there and talking to other vendors, it was slower than last year as well. I was so scared that I would not make my booth fee back but I did pretty good. Unfortunately, you never know what is going to happen. I believe the economy has a lot to do with it. People don't have as much spending cash as before due to the inflation. Until we have a better economy, I will not take that chance. I will stick with $40 markets.😊❤

They should have given the vendors some money back for closing early Fri.
