This is why I watch your videos, you find a problem or break something and then you always try to get to the root of the problem and fix it, you also are not afraid to call out the manufacturers short comings.
It should work perfectly now. Mine works great and I disengaged my visco completely just as you have. You also need to check the clearance of the torq locker. Great video!
I removed the visco lok when I installed mine been about 3 months now An I do notice that the locker seems to stay engaged longer than when I first put it in after I switch back to 2wd not sure if that’s normal keep an eye out for that an please give a up date if you have it happen too thanks
My 2012 0utlanderhas torque locker in it. I couldn't completely disable visco due to diff being the welded one but I deleted it as much as possible. Took seals and visco fluid out where I could. Haven't had any issues with mine. Mine sounds like yours after you deleted yours. You should be good to go now.
@@MudPuppyOffroad I couldn't get my clutch part out just the visco fluid side due to mine being the welded diff. Newer ones have the bolted clutch half and you can remove it all. Hope mine doesn't start doing that in the future. I'm working on my bike now also trying to get it back to 100%. Just the nature of the can am. Waiting on my mud and wheels rear drive shaft and new pinion seal to get in so I can finish mine up.
Well that was the big reason I was holding out on buying a torq locker for my gen 1 because you cant remove visco in the gen 1 front diff o well she does good as is

Clearance was still good
@@MudPuppyOffroad after a little bit of break in I don't even hear the ratcheting anymore like when I first installed. Works flawlessly!
Awesome. I've installed them in alot of trucks and p500s
Is the Can-Am more fun to ride.👍📽

It looks like what happened was my clutches got smoked. The torque locker allows it to free wheel differently than a real differential.

Read the manual there is a procedure for how to do it on gen one. The gen 1 visco is even more useless than my qe
