Incredible playing skills. Makes me feel pretty rookielike :-). I really like to know how the sound at 01:05 ist created. What kind of overdrive is used here, Nate? Is it the Genzler or do you have some other effect like darkglass, or is it even done within the daw?
I like this so much more than the previous sandblasted swamp ash bodies on the previous model. Incredible playing as always Nate. Best demos on RUclips.
Dammit! My mouth waters all over again. My next bass is definitely going to be Spector. Fabulous and inspiring playing, Nate. Thank you for another superb demo!
That bass is so pretty! I quite liked the sound of the blended pickups + bass cut though i think i would use those settings plus some bass added back in just to help the lower strings come through more. I had a Jackson Spectra JS3V that's unfortunately unusable due to the truss rod being stuck and rounded off as well as other issues with poor fret spacing/height. But I tried a brand new version of that same bass at the weekend and it still sounded a bit rattly which I know Jacksons can be but it still felt off. Is it more common on 5 strings to have the low B string be considerably rattlier than the rest or do you think it may just be the model of bass? (sorry long way to ask a question!) I did end up picking up the fender player plus precision bass though and that is one of the best i've ever gotten to play :)
I think (could be wrong) that the low b is so low that the rattle is coming through better than for example the high g string. And yes, I think it is pretty common.
My BTB has rattle on the low B even after a setup , although the setup wasn't the beeessttt . Unless it's major or can hear it in a mix I don't notice it much
@@NateNavarro imagine being so fucking talented that you "just put together a short piece for an instrument demo" which might just be one of the greatest fucking thing i've ever heard. Also the tone is to die for on that one.
Are there any differences from the original NS pulse besides the look? I had my eye on getting one now I’m not sure which to pick with these new ones coming.
Is there any issue with the bridge? I got the 4 string model of this, and the e and a string seem to rattle at the bridge. Is it safe to assume that since it's the 2 lower strings, then the b string would rattle at the bridge, as well? It is a beauty, though.
nice demo! how's the weight balance? i'm seriously considering one of these for my next axe, but i really don't like neck-dive. thanks for any helpful info!
I think the major issue was mainly with the first pulse models having a lot of noise with the bridge pup? I think that was primarily due to the battery not having its own separate cavity. The 2nd line does though. Some ppl also prefer the 2nd line's finish vs the first's sandblasted
Nate, sorry for the negative comment, but I can't do otherwise ... even if you played a piece of shit, I'm sure it would sound great. Nothing against Spector's new model... :-)
Thanks for watching, guys! Find the Spector NS Pulse II at...

Amazing tone!

They're incredible basses
To non bass players, he’s basically playing a bmw through a Maserati into a lambo finally out of a Bugati
Pretty accurate 😊
this is weirdly accurate lmao
This is how perfect review should looks like: less words MORE MUSIC/SOUND.
Always pleasure to watch your videos! Thanks!
Just received mine today and it sounds amazing.
That tone is impeccable 🔥🔥🔥
I appreciate your reviews immensely! Thanks so much!
Seems like a lovely bass, however once again I’m just here to hear Nate play!
Killer demo of a killer bass!!!! Great tone and amazing looks!!!
Beautiful work of art.
Sounds so cool, feels like an active preamp.
It is. A Tonepump Jr with EMGs active pickups
superb tone
Awesome video, Nate. 😎🎸🤘🏻 This bass sounds killer. Especially with distortion. I do like the black cherry finish on this bass. It looks real nice.
Just bought a 4 string version. Excite
Glad they took away the dotted inlays. Looks sleeker.
Such a perfect demo
Lovely bass
I hope you get a chance to do a review of the new Zoom B6 multi effects processor!!!
Great video as always nate! Awesome bass :)
All class brother 🤩
You're such an amazing bass player.

How can I really hear the bass when you the amazing amp and mics
Awesome thanks
What`s that tune in the beginning? So nice! Great vid also!
Thanks, Ni! It's just a short piece I put together for the demo.

My question as well. AFAIK the only difference is the finish.
@@anthonylee2382 In addition to the new finishes, the NS Pulse II introduces illuminating side dots and a quilted maple top.
@@OfficialSpector good to know!
Also a seperate battery compartment
@@OfficialSpector any word on european availability? Cant find it anywhere outside US
I'd like to see a review of the bass you used to make dubstep back in the days.
Hi Spector NS Pulse II 5 strings or Cort GB Modern 5 ? I have a doubt for the Spector preamp Thank You !
Hello, I would like to know what you think about the weight of the headstock because I don't feel balanced when playing while sitting down
4:37 - cool track

These do not have neck dive
@@grandpooba9554 it got here a few days ago, and i really like it!
Other than the finishes is there any difference between pulse 1 and pulse 2
Quick question. Does the Korean made guitar still have that sticky feel on the neck?
Love the intro what song is that
jend-Better
What's the name of the first song in the background?
Can someone recommend cheaper hardshell case alternatives to Spector's own flight case for the Spector NS Pulse II?
wow Nate that's a one nice bass,
send it to me when your done
Treble cut?? There is no cut in Spectors preamp, just boost.
What is name of song
When can we buy these?
now
What settings 😭😭this sounds mean
OMG
I would have made the fretboard roasted maple as well
Exactly
You had me until you said "tone pump jnr" then my heart sank :(
Why?
I've gigged hundreds of times with the Tone Pump Jr. in Spector basses and never had a single issue. Only great tone.

Am I the only who feels Spectors are just ok? I’ve listening to many previews and the tone always strikes me as , meh.
Bass guitars should never have more than 4 strings.
🙄 why do I have a feeling you haven’t listened to any music written past 1980?
