Unless your murder is sanctioned by the boss of the family or the commission, whoever wrongs you in any way (especially if they killed you) have a big chance of paying with their life. Made men can’t be touched without approval, and the penalty is death. Take Tommy DeSimone as an example. He whacks Billy Batts with Henry Hill and James Burke, so he ends up dead shortly after. Killing made men can be hard to get away with. The boss doesn’t need physical “proof”, circumstantial evidence is usually enough since the truth is easier to find out than it is to prove.

That war cost a lot, and Joe was going to be executed for his part. He escaped and went to Chicago where he was killed. The Mafia Doesn't Forgive or Forget. They found Tommy Angelo after 11 years hunting him. They would have done the same to Joe.
@@TheSultan1470 I always drive right to midtown and buy myself a black tailored suit from Vangel's after I finish the quest in Chapter 2. Nobody should get made in a cheap Dipton Apparel suit. I also store up a bunch of Lassiter Series 69 cars in my garage until its full and save them until Vito's house gets burned down. Then I get to joes, sell them to Derek, and use the cash to buy more suits and all the weapons from Harry.

I wish we saw more of Falcone. He only appears in 2 missions and I never felt anything in the final boss.
