    Great Drill Philip. Got 16 correct out of 20 questions. Having my exam on 25th October. Much stressed up with Verbal but now getting a little confidence over such questions & now following a regular schedule of watching your videos of both Quant & Verbal.
    Waiting for more videos Sir.

    I actually thought the last one would be "orthodox" and "stodgy" ( dull and conventional) as they were reluctant to defer from the medical establishment ... Anyway, these videos are great. Can you do more timed reading comprehension passages, HARD and MEDIUM ones in the days to come?

    I got 15/20. I realised that my vocab is good but the questions which I got wrong are the ones in which I didn't get the context properly. Especially the ones with difficult structure, any tips?
    Ps. My native language is not English.

    Hi Phillip, I have a question regarding the last problem.
    I chose staunch and orthodox. I believe that it make sense for the more orthodox and staunch to the current norm members of the medical professional would disagree with the doctor's objectionable, questionable, maybe unethical establishment, no?
    Your answers which are fickle and inconstant, I believe, are quite irrelevant here. Both would suggest that the other professionals abandon him without any good reasons, but the statement gives otherwise; It's totally justified for them to leave him because his practices are questionable, especially from the perspective of more orthodox medical practices

    • @applepeel1662
      @applepeel1662 Год назад

      Staunch and orthodox are not synonyms. If there was a synonym to orthodox your reasoning would make more sense but orthodox has no synonyms in this question

    • @aurora070
      @aurora070 Месяц назад

      The sentence says they were quickly jilted which means they changed their sides pretty fast, fickle and inconstant resonate with that

    I am still confused about Question 5, you selected augment and esclate, but if statisticians are not selecting a number which has recently appeared, they are reducing the chance of winning for the current person i think. so it must be mitigate / curtail?

    7th one
    we can infer that he is largess / philanthropic by another statement after ,
    that he is sensitive towards people

    • @yasaswynandavareek8399
      @yasaswynandavareek8399 2 года назад

      Yeah I was doubtful in that one as well. Philanthropy was fine as it's like opposite of accumulating wealth. But I thought empathy was better than largess. Empathy looked like a better opposite to self centered than largess
