    If you are in the UK, I can highly recommend Lohen (www.Lohen.co.uk) If you’re in other parts of the world, take a look anyway and look at the goodies we can get our hands on!!!

    RPM say you have to have a built engine for stage 3. You didn't even mentioned that.

    Hello, this is Korea.I always enjoy watching RUclips.I'm driving the n14.r56s. Currently, TurboMani+Downpipe+Capacity Intercooler has been worked.
    Manic Stage 2 is possible? I would appreciate it if you could tell me the settings needed for Manic Stage 2.

    I have a RPM Power Stage 2 tune on my 08 R55. I am installing the Snow Performance Stage 2 methanol kit. Should I expect an increase of horsepower without changing the RPM Stage 2 tune? And if so how much. Thanks for all the info.

    • @ProjectMini
      @ProjectMini  4 года назад +1

      You should expect some hp, but not a whole lot

      Meth kits are not really about making more power. They are more about safely and reliably making power. It allows you to run more boost by increasing your fuel octane and running lower Intake air temps so it helps stop detonation and it helps keep your intake valves cleaner. In my opinion ALL turbo cars should have water meth injection.

      💯

    • @boblabastida5171
      @boblabastida5171 4 года назад +2

      @@srtowner That's what I thought. Added horsepower is by being able to add more boost because of higher octane and lower intake temp. I'm also adding the meth kit cause I understand it helps clean the intake valve stems and backside of the valves on a DI engine.

    • @ProjectMini
      @ProjectMini  4 года назад +5

      You don’t need to tune to get lower intake temps, lower intake temps will keep your ECU from pulling timing do to heat. Of course you will gain much more power if you tune for the methanol as stated in the video 👍

    What is a good reading for a compression test on the n14 engine

    • @ProjectMini
      @ProjectMini  4 года назад

      Around 150 psi, the reason i say “around” is because different compression testers will read differently. What is most important is that all four cylinders read within 5 or so percent.
      If you’re uncertain with the results of your compression test then do a leak down test

      Unless you're running more than 270lb ft of torque, you should be fine with the stock clutch. Get an organic clutch and flywheel kit if you're going that high on torque, those can handle up to 350 lb ft of torque. The best part about organic clutch and flywheel kits, unlike stage 2 kits for example, is that they're still very light and quiet like a stock clutch. Seriously, don't waste your time with those garbage racing clutch kits, organic kits might be almost $2k, but they're worth the investment when you're going for high torque.
