Good Job... Simple & Decent looking !! at the end of the day what really matters is DOES IT WORK FOR YOUR NEEDS .... 🤠 doesn't mean squat what others think it's NOT their boat 😎
Nice idea. Looks great. Anyway you could do another vid going into more detail on dimensions, frame work, length of cuts for the deck extension. Thinking about doing this soon. Thanks man, enjoy your videos
Mark a great job. That open part of the deck has made me question if I would like the classic but with that one mod you have just about sold me on a tracker. All the best to you and your family.
Peter Kennedy for less than a hundred bucks to do that project I believe it makes it better than the several thousand dollar more models, not worth it.
Hey Mark great job! I'm finally ready to do this myself and I appreciate you making this detailed video..just wish I could find exact carpet match without paying basspro an arm and a leg.
Mark!?!? No underneath shot so I can see the supports? I’m not gonna tip very well if this is the service we get hahaha. It would be great though if you have any footage of the build. Anything you would change? I was torn on some of the others I had seen. It being removable makes this much more interesting for my classic. -FreeDivr
Looks solid Mark. How is access to the rod storage. I have been thinking of do this to my 2019 Classic and have thought about adding a storage hatch. I like your design with the built in step and that it is removable. Thanks for posting. Gives me something to work with.
Hey Mark great job on the deck and step, making it removable was a good idea. Any issue removing your rods from the holder? The carpet looks good too...Next project??...complete carpet replacement!! LOL ;)
I found that if I kept the rod socks on the holders as I removed the rods, it was easy to slide them back in. If not you do have to kneel down and use a light to see it. I honestly don't have any issue with the way it is.
Mark Great Job on the added deck to the Heritage. it looks great. I just got 2 questions. Have you ever thought about adding a storage box to it, and did it take up any of your rod storage? thank you for the video. Steve
I lost the bottom hole for the rod, I could have saved it but didn’t want to adjust. There’s plenty of storage under it for my liking so I won’t be doing a storage box.
Do you have the dimensions and how did you deal with the curve un the hull? Looks really good and I like the steps. I am doing steps for sure. I pick my boat up Wednesday
What in the he'll is up with that carpet?!!! Just kidding, great job. I'm getting one of these in a year or so. I wonder what the he'll they'll call it then??? Bass tracker XXL part deux??? 😁
WInd will be an issue if you don't buy a bigger trolling motor for sure. They are flat bottomed so they tend to get pushed around. Big water is something to thing about as well. It can handle some of it but it is limited. if your worried might not be the best choice for you?
@@MarkBlackstock I live in Washington and the columbia is the closest body of water to me and the white caps can get pretty large. I've been out on a smaller boats and it was fine but you just always have to be aware of the incoming weather. The price is just so good right now that I am having a hard time trying to pass it up. Just a new 50hp motor for the boat i have now is almost $8000.
Nah, it doesn’t see rain. It was cheap I did spray paint it black underneath but no seal. I figured I’d end up replacing it before wood went bad If it does.
Thanks
No problem
Great job Mark. I'm actually thinking of adding that to my heritage as well. Thanks for the ideas.

I will address that this weekend.
Good job. Thinking of this on my classic. Will probably piano hinge the floor so I have added storage underneath.
I fit quite a bit of stuff in there. But the walking room albeit small was game changing.
Thanks for the helpful idea my son and I just did our boat the same way !!!
nice

It was hard it see the framing in the video. Do you have another build video, pictures or blue prints?
I do no not have a print, there is another video that talks about it I believe

Looks great, nice job Mark!!!
Very clean Mark! Nice enhancement.
Hey Mark great job! I'm finally ready to do this myself and I appreciate you making this detailed video..just wish I could find exact carpet match without paying basspro an arm and a leg.
Awesome, nice job. I am thinking of doing this soon.
You won’t regret it.
Looks really nice Mark! The ability to remove it when needed a huge plus! I may consider that eventually but definitely the removable option.
How do you get your rods in the rod holder, looks like it would be hard to see the tubes
Seldom use them unless I’m traveling on the road. Have to turn on a light to see them.
Could you show cross support and base supports
ruclips.net/video/N57O3VeuAnM/видео.html
this video shows that
Look slick man..good job!
How did you get around the rod holders?
Cut it short of them.
I would have loved more detail on building, instructions if you will.
Part 2 does some of that.
That is awesome iam going to do that to mine thanks
Great job

Access is good no issues, In the dark its more of a challenge but lights always help.
Well done.
Looks good

@@MarkBlackstock Ya I wouldn't like to do that either. just loose the 1 rod holder. thanks for replying back. Steve
Is it hard to use the rod storage with this? Can you show the wood on the bottom?
Not really at night you need a light

I have the same boat do you have problems loading on the trailer the boat comes under the roller any ideas?
Denise Dotro perhaps you are loading too deep? Don’t bury the fenders and side boards under water. Hope that helps out:-)
Could you post more pictures in the Facebook group?
I'm looking at buying the classic xl but am kinda leary because the wind blows where i'm from and a lot of the water is pretty big. Any thoughts???

Tanner Albrecht I’m from Washington, I think you’ll be good
@@MarkBlackstock thanks for the input
did you treat the wood?
