    Nice idea. Looks great. Anyway you could do another vid going into more detail on dimensions, frame work, length of cuts for the deck extension. Thinking about doing this soon. Thanks man, enjoy your videos

    Good job. Thinking of this on my classic. Will probably piano hinge the floor so I have added storage underneath.

      I fit quite a bit of stuff in there. But the walking room albeit small was game changing.

    Mark a great job. That open part of the deck has made me question if I would like the classic but with that one mod you have just about sold me on a tracker. All the best to you and your family.

      Peter Kennedy for less than a hundred bucks to do that project I believe it makes it better than the several thousand dollar more models, not worth it.

    Mark!?!? No underneath shot so I can see the supports? I’m not gonna tip very well if this is the service we get hahaha.
    It would be great though if you have any footage of the build. Anything you would change? I was torn on some of the others I had seen. It being removable makes this much more interesting for my classic.

    Looks solid Mark. How is access to the rod storage. I have been thinking of do this to my 2019 Classic and have thought about adding a storage hatch. I like your design with the built in step and that it is removable. Thanks for posting. Gives me something to work with.

    • @MarkBlackstock

    Hey Mark great job on the deck and step, making it removable was a good idea. Any issue removing your rods from the holder?
    The carpet looks good too...Next project??...complete carpet replacement!! LOL ;)

    • @MarkBlackstock
      @MarkBlackstock  4 года назад +1

      I found that if I kept the rod socks on the holders as I removed the rods, it was easy to slide them back in. If not you do have to kneel down and use a light to see it. I honestly don't have any issue with the way it is.

    Mark Great Job on the added deck to the Heritage. it looks great. I just got 2 questions. Have you ever thought about adding a storage box to it, and did it take up any of your rod storage? thank you for the video. Steve

    • @MarkBlackstock
      @MarkBlackstock  4 года назад +1

      I lost the bottom hole for the rod, I could have saved it but didn’t want to adjust. There’s plenty of storage under it for my liking so I won’t be doing a storage box.

    • @stevealetti2796

      Denise Dotro perhaps you are loading too deep? Don’t bury the fenders and side boards under water. Hope that helps out:-)

    • @MarkBlackstock
      @MarkBlackstock  4 года назад

      WInd will be an issue if you don't buy a bigger trolling motor for sure. They are flat bottomed so they tend to get pushed around. Big water is something to thing about as well. It can handle some of it but it is limited. if your worried might not be the best choice for you?

      @@MarkBlackstock I live in Washington and the columbia is the closest body of water to me and the white caps can get pretty large. I've been out on a smaller boats and it was fine but you just always have to be aware of the incoming weather. The price is just so good right now that I am having a hard time trying to pass it up. Just a new 50hp motor for the boat i have now is almost $8000.

      Nah, it doesn’t see rain. It was cheap I did spray paint it black underneath but no seal. I figured I’d end up replacing it before wood went bad If it does.
