Looks just like the 1984 Tracker I had. Had it for 20 years. Great old boat.
I worked in the tracker plant that makes the trailers when the first bass tracker heritage edition was made. we also got a trailer in that we had to rebuild and it was one of the first bass tracker boats made. it was going to be given away as a prize but I think it actually went on display.

So glad I own basically this same boat. 1988 Fisher 16' with a 40 hp. Bought in 2019 for $2400. Best boat I've ever owned - can go anywhere and still fishes the big lakes just fine. 30 mph is easy and I can't catch fish going that fast anyway! Lol!
I LOVE the simplicity of this layout. Of course I wanted a heritage edition but 10k was too much for us with all the other stuff we have... but honestly, I'm selling some of my other boats and toys now. A short, lighter, aluminum boat with a 40 is PLENTY. It goes 2 weekends on 6 gallons of gas! It seems like we catch more fish too...maybe its quieter....lighter.... I dunno, but I love it.
If you ever get a chance to fish one if these rigs... do it. You may end up like me choosing it over some other boats you already own and thought were "better!"

spagfishing it depends on how you set it up ... it's only 99 a month if you do a 12 year plan and have excellent credit .. I opted for a 5yr plan and it's 180 a month

I retired in 2021 . I ordered my 16 ft vee guide with the 50 merc. It's solid, takes ruff water great. And does everything I want. It was 2500 cheaper than the nearest competitor.

I got one of these boat and I love it have a great time on it but my boat cover decal is already peeling right off of it
This boat is hot! Ordered mine yesterday! Really a nice package... Actually "downsold" me to this one over similar trackers. I thought I would just walk in and buy one... But they only had one which was sold and there were 7 people ahead of me... One guy was about to buy a pro model and jumped in on getting one of these after wall "ooh-ahhh'd" over it. People really want this boat, get it now while you can. Bass Pro said we might not get ours until February... I will be looking else where to see if I cannot get one sooner! I am so ready for this boat! Comes with a $400 gift card, boat cover, and 20% for two years at Bass Pro.

If I'm not mistaken..........it lacks a critical component that ALL bass boats ( and many other fishing boats ) are known for............WHERE'S THE LIVE WELL?

I guess that's better than no livewell at all. 9 gal is awful small for a 5 bass limit, and it's definitely too small for a combination of a limit that includes 1 or 2 bass over 7 lbs. Hey, I'm not knocking ya......if ya like the boat & it makes you happy, then I hope you get many years of enjoyment out of it. But for the life of me, I don't know why they didn't put at least a 20 gal livewell where they normally go in the rear deck, and then simply use that space in front of the console for storage. They could've done that for only a couple hundred dollars more added to the total price. I bought a brand new "Twin Troller X-10" small fishing boat 15 months ago, and at least they have an optional portable live well custom-made for it. I bought that too. It's 14 gal, and does hold 5 nice fish. I wish you all the best with your new Tracker.........it does look really nice! Tight Lines-

I'm building a retaining wall and tearing down a fence to build a parking spot with this exact boats dimensions in mind. I hope I can get one and make it happen. It just needs a Bluetooth enabled tape deck with giant chrome buttons to complete.

You need that storage for a bigger live well. It is a good deal though.
I bought mine in the 80"s. Paid around 5 grand and had it trailered from the factory to LA. Had a 25 Merc and was fully loaded for fishing.

Callie_Dan no real difference in speed. More fuel efficient and quiter, for sure. And you don't have to mix your fuel. Win-win.
I’m 31 only went fishing 6 times in my life I plan to get one of these because of price for my wife and kid to go fish and to just Cruz around in. The only problem is that it’s only 6 gallons of fuel I know you can add a tank but I would need a 20 gallon tank

I had one of these and will never buy another one. The only thing good about the boat was the motor. If it ever rains on the boat it will take two months for the seats to dry out. The seats may look dry but just sit in them for a couple of minutes. The storage lockers leak so bad you will never keep anything dry. When the lockers do dry out they will smell of mold. The extensions for the seats will swell if wet and you will never get the seats off of them. The cleats are so small that they are useless. I have had boats all of my life. The first job I had was working for a marine dealership. I have never had a boat I didn't like until this one. Glad I sold it.
Tracker boats is one of the best run companies, I bet with this covid mess they have locked in crazy low prices on aluminum and other supplies, they will be able to kick out 10's of thousands of these, and bass pro wont be able to keep up selling rods, baits, and etc. sure wish I owned some stock...

Too bad a few years later is 15995.95 ......In March of 2021 Bass Pro Granddaddy store had them for 12995.95 in their monthly flyer but when I went to buy one, the a-hole salesman refused to sell one for that, as he claimed the price was 15995.95 and didn't care what the ad said....They even had the printed copy on the boat but the salesman told me it was 15995.95 period. I contacted HQ in regards to this issue and they gave me the sorry for being treated bad but they wouldn't honor the printed price.....Pretty sad.

Saw one of these the other day, the welds were terrible. The fit and finish was terrible.
Mike West for the price you can’t expect amazing finish on them. As long as they hold up to the wear and tear and float. Not a bad bang for buck from what I’ve seen if you want new.

It's okay but it just half ass looks retro. Why? The engine. If they know they are going to put out maybe 10,000 units or even 1,000, then why didn't they ask mercury to pop out a "retro" shaped cowling for the outboards? Hell, at least retro engine graphics would not even cost $5 more per boat! The engine looks just ruin the whole thing for me.
chris smith that's another $5+ you'd pay. You know Tracker probably got a great deal on those ELPT 40HP Mercs in order to make so many of these Heritage boats.
I don't understand what you are saying. They have been making 1000's of 40hp motors for years.If this is some special deal for tracker, then WHY NOT make them look retro? Do YOU not see the total clash of "retro" boat with modern motor? Just a waste to me. Why not just put 20" rims on the trailer also?
chris smith the deal comes from the fact that Tracker DIDN'T order a special edition aesthetic Mercury. Use the trusty, standard 40ELPT, bought in bulk and pass those savings off to the customer. When buying in bulk, the more you buy, the less each individual unit costs. They're trying to squeeze every bit of savings they can into this, without hurting the quality. Sure, a pinstriped Merc would look killer, but it doesn't hurt my opinion of it one bit. I spoke to a guy who won't buy it solely because if the brown carpet LOL
Then why buy it? You want an older looking tracker with a modern looking engine? They are everywhere. Just go buy one for $5000 and add fake old school trailer wheels. This just goes back to my original comment.

These boats are very poorly built. A lot of the welds in the aluminum look like they're close to burning through. The carpet is look inside the storage compartments and you'll see carpet that is coming off. Not to mention all of the debris inside from the production line. I build rv's, so I know some of the things to look for. To me, they're built in the same manner as an rv. Slam it down the line so they can go home. Cover up any flaws. I am also the owner of a bass tracker pro 17.
I've had mine for over a yr now. Good boat but trolling motor is junk. Everything else is good.
It is a Panfish boat at best if you are a tournament fisherman a Bass over three pounds won’t fit in it.
