Your genius has no boundaries
Haha not sure if that is a compliment or not but I will take it!
Great idea. How many cans of insulation did you end up using?
I think 4 or so
Thanks so much for this. I think this vid will get a lot of ever green views cause I been looking for something like this for cold plunge. Not many people taking this approach
Hey thanks, that means a lot hearing this. To me this is the way that makes sense. Check out my cold plunge video for some more giggles. Good luck on your build. It has worked great for me
VASOLINE should be used to coat the rim and threads of the spray gun fitting, the end and tube of the gun. It prevents foam from sticking. Simple cleanup with a paper towel
Man that is a great suggestion. Wish I knew that before. That gun never came clean and it got tossed.
How's this system holding up a couple months on? Did you ever build a frame around it?
It is doing great. The chiller is a bit overkill for my setup but I love it. Will get to temp quick and holds it like an ice chest.
@@MowerMike badass, thanks. Have watched a bunch of these DIY vids and appreciate your approach. Did you end up moving it around as much as you thought you would (taking it off site to go chill somewhere else)? Looks like it's living on horse mats, do you just put a bath mat down to soak up any water, or has that not been something you GAS about? Finally, any thoughts to building out a full frame so it looks all fancy? Again, nice work!
@@thegristleking Nope it hasn’t moved. It is on housemats and I have a little bath rug infront of it. Works great. Personally I like the tub approach and is easy to seal up. I have another video on me insulating it. Is fun to build one. Use my links in my video description to buy anything if you go with a tub or this chiller. Have fun
@@MowerMike yeah, I think you've got the best setup out of the ones I've seen. I saw the insulating vid you did. Appreciate you putting all this out there. Will use your links, I know those are helpful on the rev side.
Im gunna do this to my new tub just so it stays warm longer.
I think that is a great idea, I would do the same. It holds the temp like a beer cooler now.
How did you get the in and outlets? DIY?
Check out the Amazon links in the video descriptions on my tub insulation and cold tub videos. Everything I used is there. Good luck
Man inflation is nuts this gun is almost $60 now.
Yep but it works. I actually threw mine out because I couldn’t get it cleaned. Clean it quick after using it
Dude, just jam is full of packing peanut, fast, easy, clean and cheap as hell.
Ya this makes a much more entertaining video! Got you watching haha
Turned out great, but what a pain. Nice looking mini tube. @@MowerMike
