Hi every time i put the Foot__Controller_Modify2-2 in arduino ver 1.8.8 i have the message 'MIDI' was not declared in this scope , i install the Arduino_MIDI_Library_v4.3.1 but have the same problem, any help if you can. thgs :-)
I did not try it, but in the last version of the MIDI library all examples contain at the beginning a "MIDI_CREATE_DEFAULT_INSTANCE();" call. I don't see it in the foot controller program. This may be a problem I think.

I just made very similar foot control board with Arduino Mega 2560, I did not used any resistance and connected switch to gnd
