    Thank you for sharing your collection. My mum had Help and Revolver albums, but we gave them to a record collector when she downsized homes. Music was always played when I was growing up, so I think that is why I know alot of Beatles songs. I didn't know they founded the Apple record label. I love the vinyl logo being an apple on one side, and an apple cut in half on the other. I didn't know about Andy White ( I knew about Pete Best). I found the different foreign vinyls interesting as you get so used to the version we have in the UK. I also didn't know till watching your video the white album wasn't officially called the white album.

      I’ll never forget the first time I heard she loves you. I was blown away. This was at a time when all my friends were into Duran Duran ,culture club etc. I thought all that was rubbish so I was considered a bit weird but I didn’t care. I like what I like and that’s that! I’m glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching. 🎸

    Thanks for sharing your awesome collection. My grandma had an expansive collection of Beatle records and solo work, I began my own collection and I one day hope to have a more expansive collection than she did. Do you have any vinyls of their solo work such as All Things Must Pass or McCartneys RAM?

      Hi, glad you enjoyed the video, I don’t really go for their solo stuff, however I do have a first pressing of Lennon’s Imagine and a reissue of Mind Games. Do you have much solo stuff? Thanks for watching. 🙏

      @@musicmysterylee I mostly have McCartneys solo stuff, records from Wings. Great band! Especially love Band on the Run and strangely enough London Town. I’ve always enjoyed the laid back feel of his earlier work; definitely a must listen!

    Thanks for sharing your Beatles collection. I also collect Beatles vinyl, cd and cassettes. I think your stereo revolver is a 1969 as I believe that's when that particular inner sleeve was a feature. As I have a couple. Also I believe the plain piece of paper in the white album was there to protect the first portrait picture and was put over the top facing picture as all the others underneath that were protected but not the top one.
    And the book came with the CD version of the abbey road super deluxe,i know because i bought both vinyl and CD support deluxe boxes to get the vinyl version and the book.
    And the mono masters was 2014 and indeed was an all analogue signal path. And there was a box set of all the Beatles mono albums which also came out in 2014 and the mono masters was also in that box and this box now goes for ridiculous amounts of cash (£2,000 at least)
    I also have that rare red label Love Me Do/P.S.I Love You but not the Please Please Me Red label yet. I do have every single UK single though but please please me is black for now

      Thank you for all this info. Wow £2000 for the mono vinyls. I should’ve bought the box set when it came out. I recently bought Revolver on cassette. The gold surround on the insert edition with the tracks in a different running order. I have the Beatles in mono cd box set. I think that is outstanding. Replication is just superb. Parlogram Auctions is a very good Beatles RUclips channel. I recommend taking a look if you haven’t already. Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching.

      @@musicmysterylee Hi and thank you for the reply. Yeah I love the Beatles and it's my main hobby and there's very little I actually want now as I pretty much have everything I wanted when I set out collecting 10 years ago. There's always 1 or 2 when I think about it that I wouldn't mind getting but the 95% of my Beatles vinyl and cd collection is finished and the cassettes is now the area where I need about 4 or 5. I really recommend the XDR UK versions of the Beatles cassettes (extended dynamic range) as everything is much much improved compared to the normal versions. They completely overhauled the whole process of mastering,EQ and changed the duplication equipment with much wider headspace and I love the results. To me those XDR cassettes are very honest and lo-fi sound at its best. They sound more real than the CDs from the same time.

      @@craigwarner6156 I used to have Revolver on XDR but I lost it. Criminal I know! What’s your opinion on the new Peter Jackson tech remixes? Revolver, Red and Blue albums?

    • @craigwarner6156
      @craigwarner6156 5 месяцев назад

      @@musicmysterylee it's a great idea and it's giving us new true stereo mixes of songs we would never have been able to have before this tech came along and that's good, however when I listen to those I don't know what it is but I get bored pretty quick because now they just sound like everything else with huge overblown bass and big thumping drums which is probably the new mix rather than the tech. And it's biggest positive is also it's biggest weakness. On all those Giles Martin remixes you can hear EVERYTHING and in one way that's good but when you listen to the original mixes on decent players and decent speakers (but neither have to be very expensive just decent not cheapo ones) the mixes are so smooth and nothing sticks out like a sore thumb. Everything is moving along as one and those are best mixes.
      P.S. are you from the West Midlands? I'm from Bilston, Wolverhampton

      @@craigwarner6156 on the early albums where the seperation was intense I used to record the song and fade out the music to put my own drums on. I’ve always been interested in the recording/ engineering side from my early teens. I think the new tech will make the early two track stuff shine as everything can now be separated. I’m originally from Tipton! I used to buy my records from a place called Goulds in Great Bridge.
