Will never in my life feel bad for designer/niche brands, they hurt themselves with absolutely stupid prices they set, no fragrance should cost more than 150$ unless it's made out of unicorn tears and phoenix ashes. Yeah, it's great to pay a lot less for a similar smelling niche or designer fragrance. One thing NOBODY talks about is the dangers of purchasing those dupes and clones. Real fragrances MUST go through a thorough inspection of ingredients to guarantee that that perfume doesn't contain major harmful substances that can cause A LOT of diseases, including cancer (and that's why formulas from famous brands have to be constantly reformulated, so that they can comply with new regulations). Now, dupes and clones made on unchecked labs, contain God knows how many illegal and dangerous substances that you won't be putting on your body if you buy from regulated and consequently more expensive brands. It's up to you to decide what's more important... Pay more for a much more safer perfume, or save some bucks now and pay the hospital bill later... Stay safe!
@@TheTrueSolesurvivor there's a difference in feeling when you wear the real fragrance vs it's dupe. When you wear 150-200$ on a real fragrance you find that you dont overspray it as much compared to my dupes that i genuinely use as an air freshener.

I recently grabbed Khadlaj Island AFTER sampling Le Beau Le Parfum and REALLY wanting it but HATING the pricetag! Having said that, the Khadlaj version DEFINITELY scratches that itch VERY WELL. Now, to my nose, Island smells a touch fresher than Le Beau Le Parfum and slightly less dense. Having said that, the performance between the two IS comparable if memory serves me correctly. I'd say Island lasts approximately 7-8 hours with about 2 hours of push on my skin. However, something worth noting, is SOME people think they are getting LESS performance from Island than I do. Whether or not this phenomenon is due to olfactive fatigue, I do not know. However, I wanted to be as thorough as possible here. Either way, it works great on me and I love Island! One last thing of note is that Island smells A LOT like Lataffa Asad Zanzibar, just not as synthetic and thick smelling if that makes sense. ( I own and enjoy both scents.) So all in all, I'd say that Khadlaj Island is DEFINITELY worth the pick up if you're a coconut lover like yours truly! Hope this helps!
I’ve been eyeing le beau le parfum for a while now and have looked into Khadlaj island but I also already own honor and glory, would you say island is different enough from honor and glory to buy it?
@freezeclaw7913 Well my friend, I believe you may have meant to ask the poster of this video that question because I don't own Honor And Glory...YET! That one is DEFINITELY on my radar, but as of now, I cannot make that comparison for you. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. Having said that, I DO recommend Island as a suitable alternative to Le Beau Le Parfum. It's certainly good enough to say that I don't need the original. Lataffa Asad Zanzibar is ALSO one you should consider if you are looking to save even MORE money. It's ALSO damn good, just a heavier scent that does become cloying if you overspray it.
Clones are definitely good if you don’t have the money or just don’t want to spend hundreds on the original. I have 5 clones and I really like them, but they don’t smell exactly like the originals. The clones tend to have an alcoholic smell when I first spray them. Some do last a while! But not the same as the originals. They do smell “cheaper” overall. Which also makes sense, since they won’t be using expensive ingredients on stuff they sell for $30. Either way, buy what you like, if clones is what you want to get, then get them. I’ll probably buy some more more clones in the future, but I’ll always prefer the originals. 🤙🏻
I bought Jasoor recently and Coral fantasy being my favorite perfume i must say its pretty close but different in its own way. Both very good fragances but i dont agree of them being 100% the same.
If your just looking for the smell obviously just get the clones but as someone who has clones and the real deal I feel the whole experience with fragrances now are the packaging, presentation, the way wearing the real deal makes you feel and the confidence that comes with that but if that isn’t a factor defo just get clones
Yes, I kind of agree. They are very similar but that’s their job. IMO parfumes are like art and making a dupe i basiclly stealing someones idea and creation so I don’t want to support that by giving clone houses money.
Eternal Oud is absolutely stunning, can't believe how good clones are these days. However, I haven't found a scent that clones One Million Lucky and Gucci Intense Oud, does anyone have suggestions? By the way Gucci Intense Oud is my signature scent, however, it's super pricey and discontinued.
i am pretty curious about jasoor . its great dna but for me it has weak performance...basicly skin scent. I also think designers has more depth like 3d compered to dupes which sometimes smell cheap. Lattafa, Afnan, Armaf and others are pretty impressive though so many good fragrances....so affordable its crazy and you want to have them all.
Personally I feel nothing for the original creators houses of designer and niche fragrances when I buy clones. They’ve gotten away with extortionate pricing far too long now, so I am very happy clones are starting to give them a run for their market share. They are sad their fake luxury marketing scheme isn’t working for them as effectively anymore. Part of me feels that clone houses are the best attempt we have at making fragrances what they were always supposed to be - a hobby that shouldn’t break your bank or be pretty much inaccessible to 80% of the world population because of the prices. So big shoutout to Lattafa, Afnan, Armaf and the others for what they do. I’ll continue to unapologetically buy clones as much as I choose. For now buy a designer here and there, but most clones.
I've bought a couple of clones that are absolutely awful so just be really careful folks. I agree however that Honor and Glory, 9pm and Kahmrah are bangin...
I own a bunch of niche and designer and I don't feel clognes over all have come to that point yet BUT there are some like 9pm and Latafa Asad that are ridiculous and there is no reason to get the OGs. Also CDN intense man LIMITED EDITION is for the money too good to ever get the newer formulations of creed
I love clones, and i’m not ashamed to admit it. The only 3 designer fragrances I have in my collection are SWY Intensely, Versace Eros Flame, and ADG Profondo. Especially if you’re buying something that is not an everyday wear, just buy a clone. To even further my point, you could certainly make the argument that clones are superior to the designer, but at the end of the day, most are 1/10-1/20 of the prices..with that being said, the gap between the quality or accuracy is not large enough to justify the price.
I think a little differently. I prefer to buy clones that I can wear every day if they are good enough and overspray them without thinking. I keep my OG special occasion fragrances even if they're small bottle and I use them less frequently.
I have kismet and it smells drastically different from angel share it’s so synthetic and overly sweet it’s the only fragrences to give me a headache and therefore sits on my shelf
Anyone else happy to buy some designers depending on cost? Anything under £75 I would happily buy if I like it. However I’d never be spending £100 on some niche fragrance even if I love it if I can get a clone.
I don’t fully agree with this. Clones are good for young people and those who can’t afford real designer/niche perfumes. However 95% of clones are very linear and boring scents, there’s a reason the originals are expensive… because they’re complex and made of high quality ingredients. If money is not an issue you should always go for upper end designer & niche fragrances.. they smell godly and have very good note breakdowns. I personally own a number of clones; Detour noir, asad, afnan turathi blue and afnan supremacy not only intense. The only one that i can say has high quality is the Supremacy Not Only Intense.. the rest smell good but they’re boring, very synthetic linear and smell low quality.
I made the mistake of listening to ppl like the video poster and bought my first, last, and only clone. Huge mistake. Not terrible but definitely nowhere near the quality of the original. There's a clear and noticeable dropoff in quality that Im just not ok with. It has noticeably less depth than the original, and smells flat & linear. Lesson learned. My advice would be: if you're only accustomed to wearing cheap rackstore or drugstore fragrances, then buying clones is fine, because the dropoff in quality won't be so noticeable. But if you started your collection with designer & niche, it's highly likely you'll be disappointed in the quality of clones.
honestly afnan 9pm is actually such a no-brainer fragrance to get (if you dont have it honestly just blind buy it its not at ALL a npc fragrance and it actually smells so good)
Bought it last week, and it was shit, no good performance, had to buy the JPG ultra male and it was much better in every way, it was 70 bucks 200ml, and the 9pm was 32 bucks 100ml,
@@CptIglo772 if you bought it last week try putting it on a shelf in a dark place and then come back to it in a week or 2 it should be smelling a bit better afterwards OR you might have got a bad batch where did you order it from

Dupes are 90 to 95 % the same because they can't sell the exact same thing, and some people think it's because reals have something very special. Noopeeee perfumers know the shit and copy it.
I recently purchased smoky touch by maison Alhambra and I can say for 100% sure that it smells exactly like TF Tuscan leather and it costs $35 compared to $360 😭
@ I mean it smells so so similar to Tuscan leather , I would say like 97%, only because it’s a little less sweet than the Tom ford one, which makes it slightly more masculine, but in the dry down they are 100% similar. Average Joe Shmoe won’t tell the difference and will think you’re rich
There’s something special about owning a designer , regardless of the performance. if you are only focused on smell, then sure clones are fine. But to the majority who don’t know about the fragrance market, 9/10 they’d rather wear the Og . Just saying
All fun and games until you have a huge collection of dupes you actually don’t like and keep wondering if the originals would be better. Quality over quantity in my opinion. Personally I stopped buying clones, except if they clone a discontinued one.
Bought AFNAN 9PM last week over the huge hype it has, really trash, bad performance, weak projection, lasts 3 hours and thats a stretch. Had to try the real JPG UM, way better in every way... Idk if its just me or everyone got the older batches of 9PM
Is not that we are cheapie or stingy, but they are just worth it! Yeah, we should respect the originality of the scent, but my wallet couldn't. Imagine spending a few hundred bucks for the premium quality but the performance is just dogshit. I buy to smell good for the whole day going out, don't ask me to reapply wtf
I was flown out by Rayhaan Perfumes who wasn’t even mentioned in this video. There was no contract involved and there is no obligation for me to talk positively about their brand and products.
@@CptIglo772It smells literally the exact same💀 Did you get Afnan 8pm? You can get Afnan for like 20 bucks off discounters. I dont even like Ultramale since i dont think the scent nor performance is worth $70 +, but for 20 bucks Afnan is worth it. Discounters use older batches too.
Clones don’t have the quality the Original has. So yeah I’ll pass on the clones and just stick to the OG’s. They’re way better quality. I’ll gladly pay the higher price tag.

Bro forget the fragrances... where did you get that shirt
hello my friend, which do you recommend for Pacific Chill of Lv and Perseus of PDM, thank you
8:07 the audio overlay scared me haha
Eternal Oud is absolutely stunning, can't believe how good clones are these days. However, I haven't found a scent that clones One Million Lucky and Gucci Intense Oud, does anyone have suggestions? By the way Gucci Intense Oud is my signature scent, however, it's super pricey and discontinued.
One million lucky is ishq Al shuyukh silver it's a pineapple twist tho
@daan2210 Cool stuff thanks, Gucci Intense??? 🤔
@@steventheologo Gucci intense idk any clones for it rn
i am pretty curious about jasoor . its great dna but for me it has weak performance...basicly skin scent. I also think designers has more depth like 3d compered to dupes which sometimes smell cheap. Lattafa, Afnan, Armaf and others are pretty impressive though so many good fragrances....so affordable its crazy and you want to have them all.
Some eg Kaayan Classic can replace the OGs, but most are just lacking the quality and/or accuracy.
Hoss can you do some vids on gourmands. The best, the cheapest, best for summer/winter/day/night etc
I've bought a couple of clones that are absolutely awful so just be really careful folks.
I agree however that Honor and Glory, 9pm and Kahmrah are bangin...
You should do to do a blind test where you try and guess which ones are the originals and which are the clones to see how close they really are.
Bro is looking at the screen as he says he's not getting payed haha
What’s the best clone for spice bomb
Can yuo review or buy the perfume Holy Oasis from Middle East perfumes (their logo is like a stag )
Khadlaj island is a great option it has a pressurized atomizer
Do you still think Vintage Radio is worth getting?
what do you think about halloween man that cologne smells so damn good
If the price is low and the longevity is there, I'll buy it. Buying products based on name brand alone over the clone, in this economy, is foolish
Buy a decant of a designer/niche and clone of it
Compare them
Then, decide if it’s worth going og or clone
Help! Heading to dubai in a months. Any recommended fragrance stores to visit. Thanks in advance.
is there a site where you can see fragrances and their dupes
Any Valentino born in Roma intense clones?
9pm is like rotten fruit with some cheap chemical smell and very bad performance
True bruh just buy the real deal is not that expensive compared to the clone
New batch issue, let it sit a few months
How about you do a live clone vs real blindfold guess?
honestly afnan 9pm is actually such a no-brainer fragrance to get (if you dont have it honestly just blind buy it its not at ALL a npc fragrance and it actually smells so good)
Too powdery, no dark pear scent
Bought it last week, and it was shit, no good performance, had to buy the JPG ultra male and it was much better in every way, it was 70 bucks 200ml, and the 9pm was 32 bucks 100ml,
@@CptIglo772 if you bought it last week try putting it on a shelf in a dark place and then come back to it in a week or 2 it should be smelling a bit better afterwards OR you might have got a bad batch where did you order it from
@@CptIglo772 honestly since you got it last week you might just need to put it in a dark place and just let it sit there for a week or 2 and then come back to it OR you might have got a bad batch where did you order it from?
@@CptIglo772 to me they smell exactly identical out of bottle, you probably got one with not a good batch, I swear it’s always the winter months they smell worse
You Should look into more Jalu and Bujairami fragrances
i still regret accidentally getting the 9 pm deodarant cause i could have got 9pm for 10gbp
Dupes are 90 to 95 % the same because they can't sell the exact same thing, and some people think it's because reals have something very special. Noopeeee perfumers know the shit and copy it.
I feel like designer fragrances now are just there to be inspired by others. lmao. Or a collection at least. 😂
I'll be honest, as long as it smells like the original and lasts as long or longer, I would rather have the dupe.
designers are copying one another for decades why would anyone be bothered if some other companies do the same
I recently purchased smoky touch by maison Alhambra and I can say for 100% sure that it smells exactly like TF Tuscan leather and it costs $35 compared to $360 😭
How does it perform?
@ very good actually, like other lattafa fragrances, at least 6 hours on skin and 10-12+ hours on clothes, projects well
@@Jackswastedlife88 damn i might get it bcuz its on a huge discount at 20 usd and a travel automiser, hopefully its not a fake
@@Jackswastedlife88 i never smelled the tom ford one, i just know tom ford always has bangers
There’s something special about owning a designer , regardless of the performance. if you are only focused on smell, then sure clones are fine. But to the majority who don’t know about the fragrance market, 9/10 they’d rather wear the Og . Just saying
Not true
@@nomames7123 1/10
what else would you be focused on other than smell from a fragrance? not being sarcastic but just curious.

I have both Creed Aventus and CDNIM ltd. Edt. and the knockoff is genuinly better and lasts all day
Is not that we are cheapie or stingy, but they are just worth it! Yeah, we should respect the originality of the scent, but my wallet couldn't.
Imagine spending a few hundred bucks for the premium quality but the performance is just dogshit. I buy to smell good for the whole day going out, don't ask me to reapply wtf
I rarely ever spend more then 80 bucks on colognes. Clones are 100% the way even if you had the money imo literally just wasting your money.
there are also a lot of arabian fragrances that are not dupes and smell fantastic
If they stop buying Originals what Clones will Clone after all 😂
hot take: honor and glory smells like axe gold body spray with pineapple. easily unlikeable
have you macerated? Ive heard it gets much better with time
Did they not fly you to Dubai and pay for a full week of awesomeness? That’s payment dude.
I was flown out by Rayhaan Perfumes who wasn’t even mentioned in this video. There was no contract involved and there is no obligation for me to talk positively about their brand and products.
all you do is hate on this guy. maybe try being a little less cynical and just enjoy the content bud

I got 9 pm and it lays 15 minutes on my skin
U got a fake
@@gabrielthereddeadgod1113 no it’s real it’s becuase there is a new formula+ who would make a fake 20 dillar colone of a clone
@@gabrielthereddeadgod1113 it might not be a fake but its probably a bad batch OR he needs to let it macerate for a bit
Can you try the spider man one in the back
Cn i use afnan 9pm for everyday and as my only cologne
No bro don't buy that shit, it smells cheaper and it doesn't last long, buy ultra male, trust me I have both
@@CptIglo772It smells literally the exact same💀 Did you get Afnan 8pm? You can get Afnan for like 20 bucks off discounters. I dont even like Ultramale since i dont think the scent nor performance is worth $70 +, but for 20 bucks Afnan is worth it. Discounters use older batches too.
I knew you were gonna come around someday..
Clones don’t have the quality the Original has. So yeah I’ll pass on the clones and just stick to the OG’s. They’re way better quality. I’ll gladly pay the higher price tag.
Waiting on Jasoor as I type lol.
